I bought these sandals today, please tell me what to wear with them!

I totally fell in love with these today. Firstly, I'm 33 years old, do they look like something a 30 year old would wear?

Secondly, what would I wear with these? Could I wear some chinos or nice maxi skirts? What about skinny jeans?

I would probably wear them with cropped chinos or rolled up skinnies? I think if you only see the base of them they may look a little odd? Can you just have a try on session?

Yes I agree, anything I wear needs to show the whole shoe. I can't try them on as they're at home and I'm on night duty with an ill relative, but will try tomorrow morning!

They're very...odd! And do look like they're going to rub on your ankle.
But if I were to wear them it'd be with rolled up chinos, shorts, cropped harem trousers or similar.

Honestly, no. It's Clarks' attempt at a trendy sandal. The sole, the stitching on it, and the tassel are fugly IMO. My mum would buy them for her holiday. She's 64.

Rolled up chinos is good advice but honestly I'm not much of a fan (but I'm in my 40s ) Are they really comfy?

I think my issue with them is that they have a heel. Sandals of that ilk usually are totally flat or wedged. They do look like the love child of a trendy sandal and a sensible walking shoe.

They look like gladiators. I'm not keen. Sorry

Ankle grazer skinnies, or midi pencil skirts.

They will go with just about anything casual -

festival/boho/gypsy skirts
denim shorts/skirt
casual dresses
any ankle grazing trousers that don't cover them up

I like gladiators not sure why so many people are not keen. I have a lovely pair of Roman looking gladiators bought on holiday in Italy. I searched high and low for them!
