So summer is around the corner probably and we're looking forward to crops, short sleeved tops and flipflops Grin

Come and tell us all about your summer purchases, high street or high end, we love it all.

Such a lovely day today weather wise - I feel like a different person when the sun shines. I clearly need to move abroad for 6 months of the year and then do 6 months in the UK Grin
My friend runs a beauty salon just up the road from my house so I just popped in and got my toenails done with Shellac polish.
Am wearing my new Reiko chinos, with this By MB tee and my gladiator sandals and mirrored aviators.

Dreamqueen · 06/05/2016 11:59

Still stuck in isolation with poor wifi. If it was better I could pass the time internet shopping but instead I'm having to try and pass the time playing solitaire on my phone and half reading my kindle.

Looking forward to MU. Haven't been this excited in ages about doing something complete out of my usual comfort zone.

Had slightly too much gin last night but hoping that an early lunch will cure that.

shopafrolic · 06/05/2016 18:34

pre MU shop?

shopafrolic · 06/05/2016 19:35

Not loving Mulberry's new ads in Vogue centenary edition

Can we have this as our new mantra?

This is me

Evening!

Really pleased you got the Kate Spade Fedup have you been using it every day, do you love it?

Justa and Dream fab that you're coming!

I like that mantra Shop, that ad is quite directional for Mulberry.

Drywhitethanks · 06/05/2016 20:16

Love the mantra Shop

It wouldn't be a MU for me if I weren't crippled by shoes at the end Grin may contemplate flats though.
My outfit so fa is camel coat if cold, Reiss black blazer if warm Smile

FedupNagging · 06/05/2016 22:25

Like the quotes Shop especially the second one!

Marsha I've not used the bag yet - don't want to get it dirty Hmm Grin

How disappointing you're not keen on your bag Blingy. Maybe it will grow on you?

I worked with a very stylish older lady this morning - nothing flash or super polished - she was wearing a midi length pencil skirt, boyfriend cardigan and converse high tops - she must be 70 at least, grey hair, bright lipstick, she looked fabulous. My outfit of 7/8's and flatforms paled in comparison!

I've just spent the last 2 hours drinking gin and watching Mary Beard - she's so passionate about her subject and so watchable.

Tomorrow evening we're going to a party so wondering about digging out a maxi dress and sandals - I think it may be warm enough.......

Evening! Thanks for the miu miu sympathy! I did look at it again and decide that I was probably being harsh yesterday because I tried it on while wearing a work dress. Today I gave it a go with jeans and it was much better. We shall see.

Dh and I have just come back from a cinema date. He said I looked very young and trendy.Smile I was wearing MK top, j crew matchsticks (Shop has made me realise I live in them!), leather biker jacket and navy blue converse. Accessories were my new Hermès leather bracelet and my newly beloved Chloe Paddington. Happy days.

KittyHello · 07/05/2016 07:47

What a lovely complement Blingy

It's going to be a scorcher today so off to the beach. Am going to try out a playsuit today, haven't worn it before, will wear with Havaianas. That's my ootd. Grin

Longislandicetee · 07/05/2016 07:56

Morning! Your day and outfit sounds awesome Kitty! No idea on outfit. Shorts will be involved!Smile

libertydoddle · 07/05/2016 09:10

I'm wearing my Hush jumpsuit, tan sandals and tan cross body bag. Every time I put the jumpsuit on DH laughs like a loon and calls me Sheena as in Easton bastard Grin

KittyHello · 07/05/2016 10:42

Lib what tan cross body bag do you have? I'm after one, I love a cross body bag and it's time to put my black one away but I need a tan replacement.

KittyHello · 07/05/2016 10:43

Dream I recall you asking if Boden trousers were true to size. Yes they are, I always order my usual size and they fit fine.

VivaVegas · 07/05/2016 10:57

It was me Kitty thank you. Haven't bought any trousers from them before.
Stans arrived yesterday and love them, far better for me as neater and not as wide as Superstars. Wearing them today so a good sign, and at £38 a bargain!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 07/05/2016 11:29

my ootd is a teal, green and white plaid pattern high waisted circle skirt with a white top with black birds on it and a black peter pan collar. not going out as yet so ive got dinosaur slippers on my feet

Longislandicetee · 07/05/2016 11:44

Grin at the dinosaur slippers. love it!

I am in a pink tee that dsis got me for a birthday a few years ago. it's from Debenham and has sparkles. it's meant to be slim fit but she got it when I just had ds and so it's a size too big and fabulously slouchy. Always love wearing stuff frienfs and family have got me. Plus Ann Taylor beige long shorts. I have gone a bit hermès mad and am wearing both the kelly watch and leather bracelet. It's slightly weird but works. I think!

libertydoddle · 07/05/2016 13:12

I am sure it does work blingy.

kitty my tan cross body bag is a Radley bag from a few years ago. I can't remember the name and I don't think they do this one anymore. Its a very plain, small square shape, perfect for wallet, kindle, phone and keys. I removed the dog! I love it and would buy it in other colours if they ever did it again.

libertydoddle · 07/05/2016 13:16

Bag PIC for kitty

MN Vogue vol 70
AmberNectarine · 07/05/2016 13:30

My OOTD is black/white stripy crop top, cobalt jersey pencil skirt, rockstud sunglasses and Stans. Loving life!

shopafrolic · 07/05/2016 13:42

Went to buy DS a new bike today so we are spending the afternoon watching him ride it round the garden Smile
He and DH are currently playing football while I sit and chill in the sunshine but in a bit I'll be washing his old balance bikes and listing them for sale. So nice to have lunch outside.

LinusLovesBretons · 07/05/2016 14:43

Just had a vanilla ice cream with strawberries. Yum!

OOTD is seersucker H&M shorts (bought last year and still going strong) and cobalt J Crew tee and red Birkies (the ones with one strap)

I don't usually wear my Birkies outside of the house but as we're cleaning the terrace and garden furniture I thought it looked ok.

On me they looks less Hipster and more Orthopaedic Geriatric. Hmm

shopafrolic · 07/05/2016 15:01

If it makes you feel any better Linus I have mine on in the garden too while cleaning patio furniture.

FedupNagging · 07/05/2016 17:28

I wore my purple havs for cleaning the garden furniture - go me! However, also wore a stripey breton dress, several sizes too large and very shapeless cost $8 in walmart so that balances it out! Am now sitting with a t shirt on my head for optimum curl - am nothing if not stylish Grin Grin

Loving the description of everyone's sunny day outfits.

Am I mis-remembering but do we have a MNV wedding this month?

Have decided against the maxi dress tonight as it needs a good iron & I cba after 7 hours in the garden. So, I will be wearing BR white crops with a silk french connection s/s top in a muted pink/orange (looks MUCH nicer that it sounds) and animal print gigi's

Have a lovely evening everyone.
