I'm tempted by the Office red shoes but don't think I'd get enough wear out of the. I'm trying to put more thought in before buying new stuff. IE will I wear it enough or do I just like the idea of it. In reality my day to day look is very casual, mostly skinnies or culottes usually with trusty NB trainers in various colours. since breaking my toe, I struggle with shoes that are not 100% comfortable.

My other not very exciting purchase yesterday was a pack of those footsie things in nude and black with the silicone strip to stop them migrating under the foot. £7 for 5 pairs. tried them last night & was able to wear my R&B lafers without discomfort.

I'm off to the garden centre today too, DH is out with a friend to help him buy a motorbike. I need to replace all my plants that died in the heatwave while I was away.

I've had Selfridges, matches and HN codes. HN is the best at 40% but of course they don't have those shoes!

I had a big Whistles order, making use of the 20% discount. I didn't expect to keep it all, but it is ALL going back. I think I will have to hit the shops as I need to refresh my summer wardrobe.

I'm finally back home after a great few days in town. I've been eating vegan except for lunches at Canton in Chinatown the vegan food was lovely. Ate at Manna and Mildreds.
Finally collected my hush sale order from my brothers. It's all graet for the summer. I only ever buy hush when it's on sale.

I've been defeated by a pair of shoes ......doesn't happen often but always with Boden shoes I'm hard and can cope with a lot of discomfort for the sake of a beautiful shoe vain but my beautiful red suede high high ghillie type Boden shoes thankfully bought in sale are total bitches and after 4 hours of standing in them totally killed me .........goodbye red shoes

Today will mostly be spent on the sofa watching Vikings before the arrival of more visitors ....

Another here who over indulged last night, luckily everyone in the house seems happy just to be lounging around in pjs this morning!
Out again with DH tonight, can't remember the last time I went out 2 nights in a row! Recovery is a lot longer these days!
Went to Whistles yesterday and bought the black Lola dress.
Shop is that the one you bought? It's oversized so I had to size down, need to try again today but I think it will be quite useful for casual or dressed up. Black sandals]] which are much nicer irl and might scratch the block heel itch I seem to have but need to try with a few things.

I've got quite a few Boden shoes and for me they are fine other than last years silver gillies which I really had to break in to get comfortable and even now they aren't great, it's really annoying when you really like them too.

Yes, I've had mixed results with Boden shoes too.

Had a few jars myself last night (1.5 bottles of prosecco, 4 double vodkas and a strawberry Daquiri, to be precise). Have woken up feeling entirely chipper - have I finally developed the heroic tolerance for alcohol I've been in training for all these years? Off to the pub now! (Actually am).

I fell pretty good too this morning after indulging in a few many drinks last night.

Out to lunch later. I need to knuckle down and lose some lbs before my looming holiday but life and meals out keep getting in the way.Going to cut all booze out from tomorrow & see if that has any effect.
