Come and tell us all about your summer purchases, high street or high end, we love it all.

Yep, gotta be toppers for me. Probably followed by Helmut Lang/Alexander wang.

libertydoddle · 25/05/2016 22:20

The shoes look a tiny bit small shop but you can get away with them and they are perfect for you.

Cranagh I am Shock and Angry at NAP. Cheeky feckers. Shocking CS and just rude.

I get chin and brows threaded for £7 in a pop up place in local shopping centre and that's about it. Occasional manicure or pedicure. If I have cash to spare I get a massage.

dry ignore your colleague. Why some people try to make a virtue out of looking crap is beyond me.

libertydoddle · 25/05/2016 22:22

Uniqlo for me too Blair.

justasecond · 25/05/2016 22:44

I think Cos for me Blair followed by uniqlo

dragonsarebest · 25/05/2016 23:13

Oh that's good to hear, thanks Amber. Topshop has fallen off my radar in the last few years, so I am happy to be wrong on the quality issue.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 25/05/2016 23:37

there's a huge mix of brands in my wardrobe/s, i couldn't say for absolute certain any one brand edges it though

I am definitely lucky i don't need any facial hair removal, i don't have anything but the usual fine, blonde 'fluff' that everyone has, i don't have any dark hairs at all unlike poor Dsisters who are both plagued by excess facial hair. In truth i'm just not very hairy at all, even down my legs or under arms, a basic run over with a battery powered shaver and i'm good to go.

KittyHello · 26/05/2016 10:08

Dragons hello and welcome, I haven't bought anything from TS for ages, I seem only to buy their Baxter jeans which I love.

Blairm y wardrobe is starting to get overtaken by JCrew, I think I 've finally found a store that sells clothes that are right for me.

Shop lashes and shoes look great, glad you've got a holiday booked, sounds well needed.

Cranagh what a blooming' cheek from NAP, not good CS at all. Shame on them.

I made a NY resolution to visit the salon more often, so where possible I've been getting 4-6 weekly eyebrows done and if I'm going somewhere I'll get a manicure too. I could do with monthly massages but not facials as I don't really like having my face touched. I've also been visiting the hairdresser's more frequently too, I used to go twice a year Shock

shopafrolic · 26/05/2016 10:13

50% off everything at Zatchels

Cranagh · 26/05/2016 10:18

It was rude. A couple of other friends were invited and uninvited too! I emailed NAP to tell them my thoughts on this but they didn't reply. Grin

Your lashes look great, Shop. I am careful with my skin but don't go for facials etc. Prefer to spend it on hairdresser and dentist. I used to get manicures a lot in the US, it's cheaper there.

I've a fair bit in my wardrobe from Comptoir, All Saints, Velvet and Gap, they are my favourites. I'd like it to be all Isabel Marant and DVF though!

shopafrolic · 26/05/2016 10:23

Useful document for wardrobe planning here

Dreamqueen · 26/05/2016 10:35

great lashes Shop
I'm a Uniqlo fan too Blair

I'm dropped my bags at my brothers and am about to head off to Regent St shops Uniqlo
Going for Chinese at lunchtime, then a show. Wearing the same outfit as at MU. I washed my Meand Em dress, I think it has slightly shrunk (or I've put on a few lbs instead of losing them){blush]

QueenC · 26/05/2016 10:38

Hmm blair, not sure. It used to be gap but apart from jeans I buy less and less from there. Other than that I have bits from a few places-uniqlo, BR and warehouse mainly.

Drywhitethanks · 26/05/2016 12:32

Great lashes Shop

Beauty treatments? I'm high maintenance.
Botox, hair cut and coloured, waxing bits and pieces, occasional shellac, ....costs a lot looking this fabulousGrin

shopafrolic · 26/05/2016 14:18

Didn't realise you'd continued with the Botox Dry
Went to Whistles today - they have 20% off. Bought the Lola dress in black which is a fab easy to wear dress. Replaces my khaki one that I loved so much from 2 years ago.
There was another brilliant jersey dress with a knot at the waist which I was very tempted by but I stepped away.

VivaVegas · 26/05/2016 16:47

Nice dress Shop, I'll be heading to Whistles on Saturday if my Outnet order isn't any good! ASOS order came yesterday and sadly all going back! I had high hopes for the Warehouse jumpsuit but it wasike a rag and did nothing for a short-arse like me!
Outnet order is under my desk ready to take home later.

shopafrolic · 26/05/2016 17:38

Loads of good stuff in Whistles but they couldn't tell me how long the 20% off is lasting for. I can't stop thinking about the other dress.......

Dreamqueen · 26/05/2016 18:58

Shame about the Asos order Viva. I really liked the look of all the stuff you linked.

FedupNagging · 26/05/2016 19:26

Hope you're enjoying your day Dream. Can't meet up tomorrow pm as already have plans but definitely ask again as I'm always up for a quick trip into town if I'm free.

Viva shame about about your Asos order - for some reason I thought you were tall!

My brain now hurts having looked at the wardrobe planner- so much to think about!

I think the brand I have most of in my wardrobe is Boden (sorry Talya) but for basics-petite trousers, cropped cardi's and boat neck t's. Otherwise, BR and mint velvet feature quite heavily.

Drywhitethanks · 26/05/2016 21:05

Shop had a bit of a break but going to try it again.....

Dreamqueen · 27/05/2016 07:19

I'm having a great time in town thanks Fedup enjoy your afternoon.
I'm thinking of going to a Joseph sale that I saw advertised yesterday in South Molton Street, not decided yet, I used to wear a lot of Joseph but not sure now now if it's worth the effort of going.

libertydoddle · 27/05/2016 07:43

Morning!!! Tell me about your Friday outfits and plans Smile

I am wearing navy Uniqlo culottes with teal, boatneck Hobbs top. Tan round neck cropped Zara jacket, leopard print loafers and a printed silk scarf I got in NZ which has lots of autumnal colours. Rose gold Skagen watch, gold studs, woven green and gold leather bracelet. Black Modalu tote bag and navy Pliage in tow for the overflow papers!!!

At desk in one office all day (phew, have had a lot of running round lately) and meeting a good friend for dinner and Wine later.

shopafrolic · 27/05/2016 08:27

Sounds lovely Lib - the plans and the outfit.
I'm in black Reiko chinos and dark grey James Perse top. Not v exciting but v me. Trainers for school run and then will be wearing in the new Sam Edelmans which I have decided to keep.
DH is working from home today and I've just got loads of odd jobs to do. So looking forward to the long weekend.
Had a lovely FaceTime with Sleep last night to talk food and diet plans. All going really well and DH has lost so much wait even she could notice on a webcam :) So relieved he is feeling more healthy.
Have lovely days all.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 27/05/2016 08:32

wearing a black and white polka dot dress with bright pink cardigan and fluffy slippers. the slippers just make it Grin

no specific plans today other than bobbing around tidying up and waiting for dp to arrive, he's here for the bank holiday so we can go to my friends wedding on sunday

Dreamqueen · 27/05/2016 09:45

My Outfit is Black Uniqlo culottes (the same as your I think Lib) black Asos White T shirt, white converse,
Black cromia bag and sunnies. All set off with a fab bargain pair of gold feather earrings that I bought in primark Oxford street yesterday.

I confess to buying quite a few pairs of earrings there yesterday. I never buy expensive earrings because I have a habit of losing one of them (drunken behaviour mostly to blame )

BerniceBobsHerHair · 27/05/2016 09:58

Will catch up properly later but just a quick reply, love hearing your ootd.

Shop I like those SE shoes and also the ones Viva bought from the Outnet (?). How was your outnet order Viva?

My ootd is Gap true resolution skinnies which I've tried having seen them recommended on here - I like the high waist on them! And Marks ruffle shirt plus probably navy stans to go out.

Plans are to take DS swimming and that's about it.

Great about your DH's weight loss and health improvement Shop

I have a real mix in my wardrobe - I seem to have a bit of a thing for Marks and Spencer though - the glamour Confused Grin
