What do you wear on your feet at this in-between time of year?

I've found my feet are starting to get hot in boots but it's too early to get the flip flops out.

I wear Converse a lot of the time but need another alternative, preferably something comfy to walk in. I was thinking about some lighter trainers eg Nike Roshe or Tavas but suspect they'll also be a bit warm.

I notice the shops are full of loafers and moccasins which would be ideal but sadly I can't stand them. I guess there's always ballet pumps but I find they often rub when worn without socks.

Roll on the summer!

I'm living in Toms at the moment.

ArsePicker · 24/04/2016 07:20

I'm in converse but lusting after a pair of Nike Roshe.

BringMeTea · 24/04/2016 08:46

Toms here.

Veterinari · 24/04/2016 08:56

Toms and converse here but could do with something smarter for work....

YesOfCourseAlways · 24/04/2016 09:04

I can't wear my Roshe's in winter because the fabric is so light my feet would freeze, I only wear them in summer.

yazzy85 · 24/04/2016 09:10

Ballet flat type shoes or trainers.

Ancienchateau · 24/04/2016 09:15

Ankle boots

Heyheyheygoodbye · 24/04/2016 09:17

Still in Chelsea boots here

Only1scoop · 24/04/2016 09:22

Ballet pumps

Tulipsinmyvase · 24/04/2016 09:25

Chelsea boots for work, converse the rest of the time. I need an alternative too 😊 but it's too cold yet for sandals.

Onlytimewilltell · 24/04/2016 09:27

I'm wearing ankle boots, rather than my knee boots, most of the time now. It's not warm enough for shoes yet, and still too rainy. I'm not really happy about trainers for every day use although I do have a few pairs if I get bored of my boots.
I do like brogue type shoes but I feel with my looks and age (I'm 42), I look like a cross between a policewoman and a granny in them, so don't wear them.

HappydaysArehere · 24/04/2016 09:42

Ankle boots from Hotters but gradually changing into their Leaps which are great for comfort.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/04/2016 10:54

Ballet shoes and nude tights for work.
Converse or Nike Roshe at the weekends.

TwentyOneGuns · 24/04/2016 15:36

Thanks, looks like I'll be alright in boots for this week but will investigate some other options. I really want to like Roshes as people speak so highly of them but I'm just not sure they suit me.

Ankle boots. Not worn anything else yet, it's too cold.

Judydreamsofhorses · 24/04/2016 15:47

Still in boots here. Tomorrow's forecast is six degrees and snow. (Scotland.)

Clankboing · 24/04/2016 15:57

Clogs :-) Josef Siebel

Littleallovertheshop · 24/04/2016 16:47

Ballet pumps with pop socks or brogues for me. Not a trainer wearer.

Horispondle · 24/04/2016 17:33

I was not a trainer wearer till I got Roshes (sp?). Very light and cool - you'll definitely not overheat. I can't wear ballet flats at all so it's been ideal for me as before I only had boots or sandals.

PollyPerky · 24/04/2016 17:47

It's hardly an in between time of year- it's bloody freezing out still. I am still in boots- Chelsea boots, knee boots , ankle boots and biker boots.

Ludways · 24/04/2016 18:01

I have Keds on but my feet are freezing, think I'll wear my converse with socks for a few weeks before trying again.

rightknockered · 24/04/2016 18:34

Kenworthington · 24/04/2016 18:37
