We're off out to a fundraiser soon - all very casual so I'm wearing next flares with desert wedge boots, navy silk t shirt (French connection) and boden orange cropped cardi. Have big hair don't care and bright pink lips.

Dh and I will do our best to ensure the bar makes a profit

We are in tonight - both spent a day doing DIY (him putting up a new curtain track and me painting a chest of drawers) so we're treating ourselves to a Japanese takeaway.

I tried the DVF again and this time I definitely adjusted it better, tighter - which made it sit a bit higher and feel more secure on the chest. It's a keeper!

Good news on the DvF Blair.

Did anyone see DMBL40 capsule wardrobe post she did for Hush? There were a couple of good tips.

Don't buy anything unless you can think of at least three occasions you'll wear it and don't buy anything unless it goes with at least three things in your wardrobe.

Bought this JCrew white shirt Saw it in store and instantly loved it, will wear with navy Boden bistro crop trousers. Quite like it in blue too but don't like the white buttons. these would complete the outfit but are sold out

Thanks all. Home now. He is stable, need to keep him that way until they do the next CT scan on Monday to assess the bleed. I had to feed him with a spoon. Made me cry.
The sun will shine loads tomorrow. I'll be back on the ward. Need to see the sunshine so badly. I wore bright pink to hospital today. Need to get some colour in there.

Was at Liberty this afternoon. Had such an itch to buy something but was only really tempted by £££ bags so left empty handed and feeling very virtuous. Had a very civilised lunch in a cheese shop with dh and ds, nice relaxed day without any uni work and agree with you Kitty, felt like spring not far away.
