LOVE it.

Esp if you have a small waist (I certainly haven't).

belgo · 18/12/2006 19:24

I really love it, very different to what I've seen recently.

ISawTortoiseKissingSantaClaus · 18/12/2006 19:25

Thats lovely.I really like it.

Dottydotthehalls · 18/12/2006 19:25

oh my god it's gorgeous - very striking, very different - would suit getting married in an old Church!

WigWamBam · 18/12/2006 19:26

It's beautiful.

quanglewangle · 18/12/2006 19:27

Quite like it, but a bit too Maid Marian for me

treacletart · 18/12/2006 19:28

Its very lovely. What would you wear on your head?

Dottydotthehalls · 18/12/2006 19:29

ooh - you could wear a wreath thing (don't know what they're called!) of white/cream flowers all around.

Can I get married again please?!

starshaker · 18/12/2006 19:30

i was looking at 1 like that but it didnt suit me totally love it though. when u getting married

dabihp · 18/12/2006 19:30

i am thinking a v small family only wedding, with 2 dds as flower girls in deep red dresses, to match my simple bouquet of red roses (might chance stitching omn dress to red?) colour to match dp tie, i would like it outside by either a castle ruin or there is a old stone fort i know of in ireland... late summer evening....

(this is plan B, Plan A was ice castle in lake louise canada, but that would cost 10k, so its out!lol)

is beautiful but very Celtic (even elfin) - if this is really 'you' then go for it but tread carefully.

Would also need seriously good substructure as it doesn't look too, um, supportive, but I suppose you may be trimmer than me (esp in tummy region...)

hermykne · 18/12/2006 19:33

i would suggest it being all plain no decoration. the celtic thing isnt me.

dabihp · 18/12/2006 19:33

i really want a tiara, but something, crown or celtic like this

i have long dark hair which i intend to have in ringlets...

hopefully this summer, pending a successful diet! lol

Lovely. It's all down to what it looks like on though.

JackieNoHoHo · 18/12/2006 20:01

That's gorgeous - I immediately thought of Cate Blanchett as Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings films, did a search on Galadriel, and one of the links was this one , which might go nicely if you could find something similar on sale in the UK (although some of the models leave something to be desired).

dabihp · 18/12/2006 20:05

lol, yes they don't exactly 'sell' the product!

i agree chaos, i think what i would do is take this dress to a dressmaker and have it make in stiffer material, slightly more corsetty to give more support, but essential this 'design'...

tiredemma · 18/12/2006 20:05

its beautiful, I could imagine you getting married somewhere like Tintagel in Cornwall.

JackieNoHoHo · 18/12/2006 20:06

Found this site that have some lovely bits in the 'tiaras' section. Not cheap, mind.

JackieNoHoHo · 18/12/2006 20:08

Getting way too excited about this, but also found this site that has some beautiful things.
