I dont know about shoes - that is difficult Hmmm - will have a look!

JackieNoHoHo · 20/12/2006 10:51

Difficult with the shoes - if you hadn't said you wanted height, I'd have said go for flat shoes. Will you be wanting white/ivory shoes, or could you have red ones to match the stitching? Would widen your options.

SchneeBallFight · 20/12/2006 10:52

lol why dontr you get the red in with the shoes here! They are lovely and cheap too!

dabihp · 20/12/2006 12:33

hmm they certainly are 'cheap' lol, might take the look off the whole thing....

maybe something like this

but cream, with toes covered...

Don't suppose you're interested in a worn once dress by any chance?? It's probably a long shot but if you might be I could e-mail you a picture. It's size 8/10. It's not quite as medieval looking as it's got an empire line, but it's silk with chiffon sleeves and a puddle train. Very plain and elegant and you could probably get it altered to suit you. Sorry, this is really cheeky isn't it?

If dabihp's not interested, do you think any other mumsnetters might be? Should I try putting it on the buying/selling thread?

dabihp · 20/12/2006 13:17

oh, twinkle if i thought i would be a size 8 maybe! lol

OK dabihp! BTW I can't even squeeze into it anymore LOL!

JackieNoHoHo · 20/12/2006 13:43

Oooh - look at these - but a seriously ott price. They're actually gold, rather than cream too, I notice.

dabihp · 20/12/2006 13:46

oooh! but rather lovely!!

Hi again! I would consider reducing the price a little, depending on what the date of your wedding is, but there is only so much I can knock off the price as a lot of work goes into making the dress as I make each individual dress to measure by hand.
I know they may seem expensive but you get what you pay for - that is a dress made to fit you exactly and because it is made to order you have the option of customising every detail, which is something you just wont get with a £500 off the peg dress.

Shoes: I also provide a range of styles which would be made to measure and made in the same fabric as used for your dress. They can be in the main colour, or in the colour of the embroidery or cape (if you are considering one of these too) which I also make.

See an example of the dress with matching shoes here
