Following on from the previous thread (sorry I can't find it) I'm wondering if those who signed up are ready and raring to go?

No spend 2016 is coming soon!

I think I might hide Style & Beauty from 1st January, sure what's the point?! I plan to read lots of books and declutter toys and clothes instead of lurking on ASOS, House of Fraser, Mint Velvet et al.

Are you still up for it? Xmas Smile

Happy New Year to you all. I'm in for a thoughtful-single-purchase-per-month challenge. Disclaimer: But with tights and underwear as needed. Need to keep off Pinterest. And Amazon.

First step this morning was pull every item of clothing out of my wardrobe until it was bare. Its taken me almost all day to sort through the mountain and put it all back.

I've got clothes I know idea where they came from, clothes still with tags on. My pile of 'tops I would still wear but not leave the house in' is bigger than the pile of 'tops I would leave the house in'. Hmm

Next step, subscribe from emails.

Hi all, I'd like to join you. I've got enough clothes that fit to see me through the year, including shoes. I'll have to stick to flip flops in summer if my sandals break, but that's ok. I've been thinking for a while that I need to use up all the toiletries I've acquired, rather than spend money on the brands I prefer. That's what will be the particular challenge, but when I've run out of all the shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser etc in the house, I will replace it with new, but low cost versions.

I'm in!

I've spent the last month or so buying clothes to update my work wardrobe and my everyday / casual wardrobe. I think I'm at a place where I'm relatively happy with my wardrobe, so I'm really going to try!

I'm also guilty of buying clothes for my baby son which he really doesn't need.

So count me in!

Ooh forgot to say haircuts, definitely need that every couple of months. Stood firm outside White Stuff yesterday.
