It was ok thanks Linus - I had forehead and brow done in the end. No change so far apart from a slightly bruised looking forehead!

Karcheer and other Zarita owners Blair? Amber? Mara? could you check the size on your dress i the same as the size you ordered? Sounds bizarre but I finally got round to trying my dress on today and the DVF tag label says size 0, the Selfridges label says size 4 and the small label the dress says size 0. Obviously no need to reveal the size just whether it tallies with what size you normally are. I'm assuming it's American sizing.

The dress fits but is slightly snug and I was wondering if I should get the next size up. Do you wear yours snug or loose?

I too can't make the Jan MU, can't believe I couldn't make any of the MUs this year, gutted, hope I can make them next year, even mini ones.

Kitty sounds like Selfridges are using UK sizing on their site. I bought mine direct from DVF after trying it on in their Matches concession. I'm a UK 10 and my Zarita is a US4 (so 2 sizes bigger than yours) and I can only wear it on skinny days. But that is what I ordered.

Mine is a us4, I'd say it's a little loose, if I'd got it in a shop I'd probably have got a 2, I'm a fairly standard uk8.

busy doing uni work and wrapping presents here amber! also trying to decide what to wear for the christmas night out next week. i want to look nice but also be warm and don't really want to buy anything new unless i've really not got anything suitable

I'm here, on the sofa in my pjs watching the secret life of 5 year olds. DH is at the pub, no fashion news at all but the 5 year olds are sweet. And Facebook is down, bah.

I have just returned from a rare night out. Outfit was very casual, just dinner with friends: navy Splendid dress, Falke opaques and my trusty Manolos.

Those shoes are great cpw, they go with anything.

I wish I had more exciting places to go to so I could really dress up but this is as good as it gets.

I was in charge of 3 kids (5, 5 & 4) so actually living the SLO5YOs! DH went out and turned up at 4am unable to walk so I had to put him to bed. Needless to say he is in disgrace!

I don't know what to wear to my various Xmas events either One - might break out my red Tulle skirt for one of them.

Pantomime this afternoon, then out for cocktails with friends tonight - no idea what to wear for that either. Between the small children and drunk DH (in this case an acronym for dickhead), I haven't had much sleep - must find some inner reserves!

Oh, bought this yesterday - was 30% off and looks like a useful sort of dress. No vanity sizing though, the 8 fits but I wouldn't want it any smaller!

My Louboutin pigalles go with anything too Linus - shame they feel like walking on a bed of nails.

I've a warehouse dress and it's definitely cut on the smaller size.

Hi everyone, ive been busy on two nights out. School night out on Thursday. Wore jigsaw velvet jumper and flares. I felt good until I got to the pub and everyone else is in skinnies so I felt a bit frumpy as if I was in old bootcuts. Last night went out for anniversary meal and wore a black/blue dress.

Out again tonight as we're away for the night. I can't take the pace!

I was out too, didn't get home until 3am so wish I had slept in. Drank too much, danced a lot and had a great night, will be flagging later! Wore Me&Em dress, opaques and Whistles high ankle boots. Thought I looked pretty good for and old gal!!

Good one voguettes, my Cristmas parties start very soon. Will be joining you. Only have the Marant dress though - luckily there isn't a cross over of people.
