A Paris MU would be awesome!

And yes dry I agree with mara, the cuff is such a statement piece it really doesn't need a necklace.

MarshaBrady · 01/12/2015 20:28

Evening. Thanks for better day at work vibes Thanks it worked. We were all very nice to each other today and had a bit of a laugh. Made the world of difference!

Must not repeat the stress of yesterday. The night out was fun though.

Ok am catching up

Karcheer · 01/12/2015 20:50

That's good marsha.
I've had my hair cut shorter and coloured darker. It's my birthday on Sunday it's part of my pre birthday depression process :/

Karcheer · 01/12/2015 20:51

I ordered this but I'm not going to tell you as it's Vicky Beckham :/

Karcheer · 01/12/2015 20:52

Ident think I'm capable of buying everyday clothes, even though I really need them :/

MarshaBrady · 01/12/2015 20:53

Ha great post Karcheer I really like it I don't do v beckham either

Karcheer · 01/12/2015 20:55

For dh I've got a years subscription to socks from our dog and a mini shoe horn for travelling...now I'm out of ideas.

Has anyone seen my post about Victoria secret?

Drywhitethanks · 01/12/2015 21:06

Evening all.....so OOTD was new "tasteful" Christmas jumper , black skirt, black boots, accessorised by flashing mult light necklace from Claire's accessries and a santa head band. HELLO DECEMBER Grin

Thanks for the cuff advice. Gut feeling was to keep it simple....I'll just keep my hand near my head pref holding glass of Wine so everyone can see my bling.

Blair sorry to hear you're still not good.

Amazing turbo Christmas shopping this afternoon. It's amazing how much you can do in an hour....I was sweaty though in my down coat and racing around at full pelt Grin

QueenCardi · 01/12/2015 21:18

blair ive pm'd you.
dry I'd forgotten that you get so excited about Christmas! Also agree that no necklace needed.
mara I really like the shirt you all have

Used the silver backpack today and loved it. Much better than a normal handbag for walking. After getting soaked yesterday I went for a more casual look today that was wrather appropriate so wore black skinny cords, mink ankle boots and a toast top. Felt good Smile

Drywhitethanks · 01/12/2015 21:32

QueenC I'm wondering whether I have to courage to wear my Hobbs bright red skirt with my Boden apple green merino jumper next week and go for the full Elf look may get some stripy tights and red tinsel . Grin

Drywhitethanks · 01/12/2015 21:35

Really like this jewelry

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/12/2015 21:43

Thanks QueenC :)

Linus I had to google that but it seems it's the same as glandular fever, which the next test is for. They are also testing for something called CMV. I haven't had sore throat or swollen neck glands though.

Dry I love how you paired the statement Christmas pieces with black Wink I also agree on the cuff, it will look great on its own. Whereas these would complete your Elf ensemble.

Mara good luck with the essay. Am sure you'll be fine after you did so well on the first one. even if you don't think you have enough time, it'll happen somehow. :)

Drywhitethanks · 01/12/2015 21:46

Grin Blair

LinusLovesBretons · 01/12/2015 22:01

Sorry blair I didn't mean to freak you out by writing mononucleosis instead of glandular fever, it's just the way we call it where I'm from.

karcheer do they have Gilly Hicks in the UK. It's the same company as A&F and Hollister and they do nice underwear for girls and women.

dry I dare you to wear those elf shoes just to see if your grumpy colleague cracks a smile.

Karcheer · 01/12/2015 22:20

Gilly hicks aren't in the uk any longer :(

AmberNectarine · 01/12/2015 22:22

I used to get all my pants from GH but the local one closed down. Now I just buy identical M&S thongs in white, nude and black and have done with it. I have a few occasion sets for DH's benefit, but he isn't really interested in the wrapping so it's a bit pointless.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/12/2015 09:59

Don't worry Linus it's just that I'm totally ignorant of medical sounding terms because I'm generally one of these people that never gets ill! :)

Forgot to say my outnet order arrived yesterday. Markus Lupfer banana print phone case has really cheered me up. The Iris and Ink crop top looks good with the CC skirt as far as I can tell, but I need to give it a good ironing. It seems like lovely quality, the first thing I've bought from I&I.

Dry nice jewellery link, a stack of bracelets from there would look lovely.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 02/12/2015 13:56

i'm so excited!!Dp will be here for much longer than we thought for christmas as he's being sent to work in a different office for the week before his holiday time starts so he'll be staying here for that extra week! I'm so happy i could cry, never mind any gift i might get, this has made my christmas Grin Grin

libertydoddle · 02/12/2015 15:41

Ahhh that's great one. So pleased for you.

Sorry to hear you are still not well Blair.

Can't comment on links. Crap WiFi. Holiday going well. DD behaved well on flight, hotel, food, beach and weather all good. Only downer is that I have as usual been attacked by local mossies Sad. My legs are a state. No bites on DH or DD and I have covered up and put so much repellent on I almost choked with the smell and they still got me. Will try to insert a photo....

libertydoddle · 02/12/2015 15:44

Sample bite. This is down to about half the size it was. Have about 10 like this on legs and arms. I brought bite cream and antihistamines but they didn't touch them so had to go to pharmacy and get prescription meds.

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2015 16:37

Oh no Lib that happened to Dh in Aus once, he was a state. Not me. So bizarre that they go for one person. Have you got nets when you sleep?

Drywhitethanks · 02/12/2015 16:41

Oh that looks nasty, poor you Liberty hope it doesn't spoil your holiday x

LinusLovesBretons · 02/12/2015 17:01

Ouch lib! DD is also a mosquito magnet and her bites also swell up and often get infected.

Hope you're having a great time despite the mozzies.

one great news, I agree, the return of a DP/DH after a time apart is the best present ever.

Karcheer · 02/12/2015 17:23

lib that looks so painful.

maradesbois · 02/12/2015 18:24

Evening,

Oh no Lib, the mozzies like me too so can sympathise. Must be something about the Irish blood!

One brilliant news about dp.

Linus, I seriously would do mu in Paris it would be amazing!

Dry love that you're in the festive spirit. I couldn't do the coloured lights in the end, went for red berry ones and ds made some nice decs with nanny so we're on the way!

Marsha glad all ok at work. Your dh sounds lovely, always so tuned in to what you need.

Christmas drinks with my course tomorrow. Not a dressy thing at all, think I'll wear new apc shirt with skinny marrakesh jeans and burgundy acne colts. Have just realised how much navy and burgundy I have in my wardrobe.
