I went in today and got this Marant oversized cardigan. Very warm and slouchy, have been thinking about it for a while.

That sounds horrible Blair. Hopefully your blood tests will help sort it. If the gland doesn't go down soon I'd see the GP again

First snow of the year here but it's not cold enough yet for it to stay. I did wear my down coat for the first time this season.

Evening all

Purchase of the day has been new specs - dull but necessary. I don't love branded glasses so I have gone for totally plain dark green, slightly cats-eye frames. Also lots of stocking fillers for kids and a bottle of mulled wine for me. Need to crack on with wrapping as December is a whirlwind of piss-ups.

So cold today - at least my OTK boots are keeping my legs warm!

Evenings all

No snow here yet Stokey, apparently there was some last night but I was asleep. Massive gales during night and freezing today. Snow forecast and gritters have been out

liberty I'm rubbish with wobbly teeth and snot not great in my line of work as I'm faced by these delights and more on a daily basis

And.......sometimes the tooth fairy gets so exhausted that she gets muddled up and comes late ........I printed a load of tiny fairy sized notes in little pink and blue stereotypical moi? font to leave under my DCs pillows . They were from the tooth fairy. Because I had a load I was always ready. DD 15 next month was showing me her special keepsake box the other day and right at the bottom shed kept all the fairy notes. I'd forgotten all about them.

And....I'm bracing myself to go out tonight had totally forgotten about the event, and my hair appointment this morning, it's been a crazy week it's informal but I think I'll wear my leather skirt, opaques, shie boits not the killer heels and a jumper, maybe my berry merino Gap one.

Hello everyone! Dry so funny, I was texting with Lib about an hour ago telling her about certificates and suggesting she prints a load of them so they are handy!

Haven't been around properly this week but just wanted to say to Blair, sorry you're not feeling well. and to Shop to have a great time tonight!

I am properly in winter mode at the moment. Currently wearing gap high rise skinnies with Michael Kors Breton under a james Perse mushroom jumper. I am out tonight with dsis and may just put keep jeans, change top and put on one of my new sparkly shoes. It's bloody freezing though.

Both dcs are at parties minus us for first time. Dh left my baby there rather than sticking around. end result is being child free for a few hours! Sadly spending it trying to sort out their advent calendars.

It is proper chilly tonight - we were meant to be going out but I'm glad we aren't. The winter duvet has finally made it onto the bed along with the electric blanket

Have no ink in the printer bloody typical so I have dug a very pretty little card out of my card box and written a note with green ink and added some glitter. DH has rolled his eyes and asked what the hell I have set us up for!!! We may have to say there are special cards only for the first one and print certs for future

Oh, and as an aside.....I'm rubbish at games nights because I'm too vain to wear my reading glasses, talk too much and miss rules/questions, then forget rules, drink too much wine and confuse everyone else and am generally quite disruptive and rubbish. Should be a fun night. and I always get put with my friend's uber competitive DH which pisses him off no end

So I'm home alone with dc as dh is on the first if his xmas do's and ive managed to Polish off a bottle of wine
