Morning everyone, sounds like a fun Halloween was had. We took the DC out trick or treating for the first time for an hour or so. They loved it, very sweet.

I'm a bit late with my cocktail outfit, lost it on my phone last night. I think I've been watching too much Game of Thrones - You know nothing, Jon Snow - as am rather drawn to this top. I'll pair with some leather leggings and maybe rockstud boots. Not exactly a cocktail dress but think it would work.

I really like the Ash biker boots but they're way out of my price range, so have ordered a couple of Office pairs to try. I will report back any success.

I have had 4hr sleep and am feeling grumpy. Between 8 hysterical 14yr old girls on a Halloween sleepover/screamathon and DH snoring I've not had a good night's sleep . Will need plenty of coffee today.

To answer your question Amber, sadly no, I can't take the cold. I am anaemic with poor blood circulation. I'm long sleeves all the time except in Summer. That's why I love those Me&Em dresses so much, they warm and stylish...my holy grail!

We went trick or treating for the first time. We did it with a couple of other children who are same age as my dcs. I was so mortified by the behaviour of the other children that I won't be repeating that experience and we will do it alone next year. I know I am very strict with the dcs but even taking that into account my comfy judgy pants are this mornings fashion accessory.

Aaargh! Yes I am a 3 but on the outnet it says that they fit small to size and recommend you go up a size so I ordered a 4. fab find!

I've been ill, as expected as it's the holidays, so haven't done much at all. No energy for anything really so have been holed up in the house at dps watching tv with him. there's worse ways to spend time so i dont mind so much

Blingy do you have Uniqlo heatech vests? I swear by them. Short sleeved for very cold days, spaghetti strap for normal days. They go on in September and come off in May

It happened to me at a wedding. I always thought I'd just compliment the wearer and make a joke of it I looked much better in it of course and had fab shoes but guess what I did? Jumped into a taxi, raced home, got changed, missed ceremony, asked taxi to drop me off at top of sweeping drive, crept through hiding in bushes, located DH etc on terrace drinking appetitif, surreptitiously joined group.....almost got away with it until I'd had a few -to recover from the James Bond like adventure and then told everyone what had happened including the lady who was really sweet and thanked me for my consideration not really, I'm just vain

Btw creeping, secretively, at pace along a gravel drive and hiding in bushes in HEELS takes some doing

I also went to a wedding and my dress my fell apart, but that's a long story

Have just been invited to a wedding next year, not sure I dare go

The halloween party last night was fab - live band, cocktails, prosecco, what more could we ask for? Dh really went to town on the zombie look so much so no one recognised him. He's now snoring on the sofa.

Ootd was flares and RL red & blue breton but is now comfy yoga pants and grey hoody ready for lying on the sofa catching up with Strictly from last night.
