It can be anything from 2-3 times a week to once a week. Atm I hadn't used one for about a month until yesterday as it felt too cold to slap a wet thing on my face brrr

Top 3 products from Cosrx would be
BHA blackhead power liquid
Galactomyces whitening power essence (used as a first essence) and
Snail 92 all in one cream which I've just been trialing and love love the texture of (having oily skin)

mintbiscuit · 12/02/2016 17:35

I sheet mask nearly everyday. Sometimes twice Blush

Dh probably sees me with a mask on more than off lately! My skin is pretty dry and sometimes sore from the retinol so I find them quite soothing.

mowglik how heavy is the snail cream? Would it suit drier skins too?

mowglik · 12/02/2016 20:05

mint it's really light, to the point that I would use it under a heavier moisturiser like an emulsion if my skin was dry. It's perfect for oily skins though, the texture is so smooth and it sinks in really well. Plus with all the snaily goodness that I don't really have in my routine I think Ill end up using this cream a lot

GeordieBadger · 14/02/2016 11:25

AB seems big on blackheads, but I seldom get any.

scandichick · 14/02/2016 12:55

Mowglik, someone over on reddit puts sheet masks beneath their laptop to heat them. That's the posh solution, by the way - another user said they just sit on them...

HeyMacWey · 14/02/2016 13:08

I haven't been on this thread for ages but just to let you know I'm loving the cosrx honey overnight moisturising cream. It's a lightweight gel consistency and perfect for my oily skin which has started to dry out after a recent cold.

mowglik · 14/02/2016 17:52

scandi or put them down my top like I used to do with baby wipes to warm them up pre nappy changes Grin

mintbiscuit · 14/02/2016 18:18

Geordie not sure if AB is big on blackheads although they keep frickin sending me those awful nose strips with my orders! Grin

For me AB is all about the whole customisation thing. So using a variety of products to target specific concerns.

Count your lucky stars you don't get blackheads!StarStarStar

scandichick · 14/02/2016 20:52

Grin Thanks for the tip! Sadly more likely to use it for baby wipes than sheet masks, have managed to use a grand total of one out of my impressive stash.

Breastfeeding and masking didn't actually work as well together as I had hoped...

mintbiscuit · 14/02/2016 21:23

scandichick but at least baby's butt will be hydrated!

GeordieBadger · 15/02/2016 14:29

Question: I currently use Priori Perfection Facial Gel for my AHA. What is the AB alternative?

GeordieBadger · 15/02/2016 14:30

Just to add more info: I use it before BB cream.

mintbiscuit · 16/02/2016 00:13

Hi Geordie

Does the Priori gel work well for you? Or is it that you are just looking for something cheaper?

My motto is 'if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it!'. However, if you are looking for a change the 2 most popular AHA treatments in AB world are Mizon 8% peeling serum and Cosrx AHA whitehead power liquid. Not sure how they would compare though to the Priori gel. I would certainly need several layer of hydrators and moisturisers on after using them though.

Ps. If you are using AHAs I would really recommend a high protection sunscreen before BB cream. They make you more photosensitive so you are more likely to suffer uv damage.

GeordieBadger · 16/02/2016 15:41

I would certainly need several layer of hydrators and moisturisers on after using them though.

Wow, are they that drying?

How much do they cost?

Priori is about £20. but not drying.

mintbiscuit · 16/02/2016 16:36

It's not that they are drying, it's just that they don't offer any moisture or hydration. They are designed to be a treatment for the skin before essences, serums, ampoules etc.

Hm... not sure about cost. Different suppliers will have different prices. Think the cosrx stuff is around $15 on jolse. The mizon aha peeling serum is around $12 ish on ebay but is half the size of the cosrx I think.

FrustratedFrugal · 17/02/2016 20:21

Via Beauty Wolf, have you seen the iPoo Smell Cover Oil Grin

mintbiscuit · 17/02/2016 20:56

Poo stench = fragrant aroma GrinGrinGrin

I think I've seen it all now...

banivani · 18/02/2016 08:48

That ... that is.... I don't know whether to laugh, cry, cry with laughter, shake my head ... Priceless! Grin

GeordieBadger · 18/02/2016 20:50

Ladies, what is AB BB cream like? Any recommendations?

HeyMacWey · 18/02/2016 21:07

It's very different to Western bb cream - generally better coverage.
Missha have good reviews. I have their cushion which I like. I also use Holika-Holika clearing bb cream which I like. EBay has lots of samples so you can check for colour matches. Generally Korean bb creams are very pale - I'm quite pale myself but with yellow tones and wear shade 23 in missha.

banivani · 18/02/2016 22:20

Does anyone have good bb cream recs? I've used Missha, perfect cover and signature real and dr jart silver tube. They go on nicely but Jart is a bit grey and Missha isn't maybe the perfect one? Tried samples of Etude house's "fit" ones and they are rubbish. :O

scandichick · 19/02/2016 13:31

I've got Skin79's pink BB cream, I like the coverage but think I'll try Missha next for a better shade match.

Roseroseshop sell a Skin79 3-pack of their bestsellers in travel size, although you're very unlikely to be able to use all three. Only $8 at the moment.

banivani · 19/02/2016 14:32

Is Skin79 strongly scented? Ideally I'd like unscented but you know, good luck with that. ;) Will look into RRS's sample, thanks!

XiCi · 19/02/2016 20:44

It's a few years since I used the pink skin 79 bb but I remember liking it and can't remember a strong scent. My current fave bb is Lioele triple the action bb. Just the right amount of coverage, really makes skin look flawless. The only problem is that it only comes in one shade. Think it would be suitable for up to NC20 but no darker.

scandichick · 19/02/2016 20:52

No, there is definitely a scent but not strong.
