Stylish really warm boots for winter

Please help!

I need to buy a pair of warm practical and pretty boots for winter. Something lined like Ugg boots but not typical Uggs; I hate them! Not riding type boots either or those cowboy ones.

I like brown colour and flat heels...not a fan of wedges either. Mid calf length.

Is there a boot that exists like this?
I'm 32 so nothing too frumpy either Grin

Tia!

I also love these:

I love my Merrells. They're waterproof and warm and have lasted two winters thus far being worn every day.
I bought them cheap in the summer thanks to mumsnet

I'd like something smarter though too so watching with interest.

I've given up looking for a few days. I have an ugg outlet near me and have never gone. Will it be worth going? I doubt they'll have their nice leather boots at a reasonable price (~

Buttercup, the tomberland boots you are after look very much like Sorel boots, which are great, second the recommendation from previous poster

I just posted about the Timberlands but the bloody website lost my post. Just wanted to say they are lovely and comfy and waterproof too. I walk the dog in them and have them on all day and my feet are toasty and warm. Nellies.

Those are the Timberland biker boots I meant yes. I don't have them, but have had a couple of pairs of their waterproof boots in past years, and they have been really great. The ones I had weren't fleece lined, but i still wore them in the heavy snow we had about five winters ago, so with the fleece lining, they should be super toasty.

BigRedBall · 08/09/2015 20:00

Those boots look really nice and warm...I wish they were a bit taller!

I've found these timberland boots I like...do they look like wellies? I think they're something I can dress up and down with. But I've found timberland shoes are narrow on my feet so thinking I should get half a size up.

I've got wide feet and the Nellies are plenty big enough for me. I went up a size as I read that they were a bit too roomy but to be honest I cold have got away with my normal size, they are very roomy now! Still plenty of room for thick socks.

BigRedBall · 08/09/2015 20:18

I suppose if I get the normal size I can break into them.

For anyone interested TKMaxx are selling the Merrell Captiva Launch 2 long boots in black for £79.99 atm. Saw them today and tried them on but they weren't cushioned enough on the inside for me.

These are very gorgeous! I might have to put them on my birthday list

I've just bought these Viola boots and I love them! They're by Dr Martens and I'm really not the DM type, but these are fab.

ScarlettDarling · 16/09/2015 19:44

These Charla DM boots are also rather lovely.

I just took delivery of my Gershwins and I love them. Not as wellyish as I was expecting at all (nicer than the pic), toastier than a toasty thing in toasty land and the width of the top is right right for me. I'm delighted with them, very very bargainous.
