shop i agree about the AW trends, especially the colours. this year hasn't been good for me in terms of styles and colours tbh, they just haven't been ones that will work for me. i'm trying to look more vintage repo style/alternative and maybe a bit pricier for me

I'm here, and I've got a cringey story to lure back entertain you all.

So this morning, I knew the cleaners were coming, so I was tidying the house. I always remove all the bathroom towels to wash them so that it's easier for them to clean. Before I put the wash on, I shook the bath mat over the bath, as DH is a beast a bit hairy and I didn't want bits of hair and fluff in the washing machine. I didn't have time to rinse it as it was 8:30 so I left

Unbeknownst to me, DH had put on the sleep talk recording app on the ipad, which was in the bedroom, before we left for work. Cue me getting home to a recording of the cleaners talking about how something should have been rinsed and "I mean, you know the cleaners are coming". It got worse, they were saying something about shaving and how "she must be so hairy she needs a hairbrush for it". Basically they thought I'd shaved my lady garden in the bath and not washed it away.

I'm mortified and I know I can't do anything about it either other than always rinse the bath :( and they will think I'm hairy and disgusting for ever more!
No my DH's body hair doesn't look like pubes, and I really don't understand why they would assume it was female hair at all when men are much more hairy in general?!?

Anyway I'm off to crawl into a hole and die.

top marks to lush HQ who sent me out something new to try when i bemoaned to them the discontinuation of my favourite shower product, not just my favourite because it smells amazing but mainly because it clears my skin up which can be dreadful. what they sent me is nice but im going to have to use it for a while to know if it works in the same or a similar way to the discontinued one

Last day of my UK Staycation and I have to say it's been great and we have had outstanding weather.

Ootd was white skinny crops, blue 3/4s jumper and new blue loafers (will link tomorrow). We went out for an earyish meal so I decided not to change as we were running late but wished I had in the end. after several glasses of wine, I ceased to care!

I'm going out tonight for DH's final 40th celebration. We've done house in the country with group of friends, pub dinner on the actual day for the two of us and now drinks with friends in the city. No idea what to Wear. Do you think the Office ghillies would work with a short skirt? I've only worn them with rolled up trousers so far.

they were really good linus I expected nothing when i emailed them so to be sent something new to try was a bonus i didn't expect at all. i really hope they bring the discontinued one back, even if it's only as a seasonal special, at least that way i'd be able to stock up on it. definitely some of the best CS i've ever had.
