Who's on board for a no-spend August?

There's no decent Autumn clothes in the shops yet, I have plenty of make up that needs using up, I bought some lovely shoes in the sales and I'm pretty well stocked up with the essentials. And the last two months have been pretty spendy so I could do with saving a bit this month.

I need new toothbrush heads, cleanser and deodorant and need to get legs waxed next week but then that's it until September. I'm quite looking forward to using up odds and ends and treating myself to some new Autumn make up next month Smile

Anyone else fancy a break from S&B spending?

I've been on holiday and was really good (partly because there were b-all shops there) but I bought some St Tropez gradual tan (I knew the sun wouldn't make a guest appearance) and a waterproof (aforementioned lack of sun. It rained. A lot)

Now we're in the tail end of August, I need to buy loads to invest a bit.

New bra (I need to go somewhere proper and get measured , not just hoik myself in and think ok)

Hair dye - again.
Short hair is more upkeep that you'd think Grin

Some nice jumpers (I'm ogling Uniqlo)

Soon be September................................................

I've done pretty well. I just checked back on my list from the beginning of the thread:

black leather flats - bought
a red or pink jumper - decided against
a grey cardigan or jersey jacket - got in a charity shop for a fiver
a full black skirt - still looking
a shirt - maybe grey silk, or maybe red tartan, or maybe both - got a red one in a charity shop for £3

I have bought a couple of things not on the list - 2 work tops and a pair of work trousers - all in the sales, so about £50 in total. All I really want for Autumn now are some new boots and a big scarf.

I splurged during a work trip earlier this month but have been totally shopping free since. I have also worn every new item multiple times (and might consider travelling back for winter sales), but don't think I need anything particular for autumn. So yes, count me in for September!
