I'm Brian. I use the Benton Snail Bee after CosRX toner (Clarifying one then the AHA white head one) Then Ampoule (Missha Time Revolution long name) then eye cream then moisturiser (Returning Starfish or Mizon Placenta) in the evening I do the same but add in Snail repair or a sleeping mask just before bed.

I leave about ten mins in the morning after the second toner..make coffee, have a cigaretteBlush In the evening probably more like 15-20 mins as I'm less pressed for time so do body butter or gradual tanner etc.

I'm loving the Cos RX Whitehead toner and it has really sorted my cystic menopausal jawline acne out but I still need my pores cleared more. I think I'm going to add the blackhead one in somewhere.

Do you think the Korean sellers are scratching there heads a bit at the huge upturn in UK purchases?

Grin Grin Amazing that did make me laugh. For that very reason I switch off autocorrect on every device!

I have the Aha 7 Whitehead power liquid on it's way to me, is that the one you're using?

Sorry, Scrambled, it was you with the cosrx conundrum Confused I really am off to bed this time! Blush

Yes LucysMam it is. It has totally sorted out my spots. Even if one dares to emerge its tiny and doesn't last. I didn't get a single spot as a teenager so perimenopause has been the ultimate revenge for that I guess. HRT helped a lot in other areas of my life but CosRX Whitehead stuff saved my skin

Lucy thank you!!

Got sucked into the roseroseshop sale.. if order with delivery inc comes to £17, will I be charged customs fees? I really want to order..

Cornwalls I got sucked in too, and got the Missha Longer name as it has been on my list for so long and I've already tested samples (and that was it for me for July). My FTE is going to finished soon too but I really want it in a spray bottle and was not sure about the packaging. It is a great sale for certain items. I managed to stay just under the VAT limit.

Amazing some airports are super strict with liquid rules, others very lax. Heathrow is among the strictest, I once went through and endless search and finally the stick deo turned out to show up as a liquid in their scanner, so I would probably put the cushion in the plastic toiletries pouch. Sometimes I fill up two pouches and put them in two bins. Nobody has ever cared.

I fly a lot on JAL codeshares and once saw an Asian girl carefully pouring an expensive looking toner directly into two TSA pouches that sloshed about in her scanner bin. Couldn't get it back then, totally get it now!

At a turkish airport last year they let me through with full bottles of water. I had forgotten they were in my hand luggageShock

Good morning, checking in from holiday in sunny Turkey, I have limited internet so am not keeping up with the threads.

One thing about the Korean beauty routine, so many bottles is not good on the old luggage allowance. I'm on holiday for 6 weeks so just brought full sized bottles, but my luggage was very heavy and it was nearly all skin and hair products.

I can't be without my sleeping masks at the moment, even though I'm in the sea and pool all day with the DCs once I get my layers of moisture applied in the evening my skin feels okay.

Holysnails c, e and ferulic acid recipe is waaay more complicated than mine. I don't do half the stuff she says I have to do and I haven't had any disasters. My ferulic acid doesn't settle into a brown sludge at the bottom of my bottle.
The shark one looks interesting. I have quite alot of the ingredients already, but it would be expensive to buy all of those. But the recipe looks fab.

Amazing what's the consistency of the CosRX toner? Is it watery?

Report
ilovetosleep · 16/07/2015 09:23

Amazing that sounds amazing! Is so nice to hear when a product has made such an impact. I really want to try an acid, but I don't know where t start. Atm I use clearasil pads and nip and fab, I alternate each in the mornings and have a day off in between too so it's a 3 day cycle. I seem to be tolerating this ok. I also have a bottle of bravura ginseng Tiber to introduce. I don't suffer from acne and only get hormonal chin spots or breakouts from product. I do have congestion around my nose and cheeks that comes up just like little tiny bumps/pimples occasionally. I am mainly concerned with pigmentation and redness on my chin and around nostrils. So I guess I need an aha? Will my bravura do the job or is there a cosrx I can try? Off to order longer name ampoule in that sale :)

ilove the cosrx 7 is an aha toner. That might be worth a look.

ilovetosleep · 16/07/2015 10:15

I think that's basically the same as my bravura which I need to get through first. Anyone know if I'm right there? What would be the replacement for my clearasil - blackhead power or aha/bha clarifying toner?

Report
lucysmam · 16/07/2015 10:21

Blackhead power.

The aha/bha is the ph adjuster.

I thought the Bravura was a ph adjuster too Confused

ilovetosleep · 16/07/2015 10:24

Oh? This is it. www.bravuralondon.com/tone/revitalising-ginseng-toner-with-glycolic-acid-5-100ml.html

I'm a bit Confused about acids. It's 5% glycolic which is more than nip/fab so I would have thought it has mild exfoliating properties too? However the same product is marketed elsewhere in the site as a pre-peel toner so who knows.

FrugalFashionista · 16/07/2015 10:46

Sleep CosRx Blackhead Power is the right replacement for Clearasil. If you want mine, let me know, I did not get on with it! The CosRx AHA/BHA is just a pH adjuster.

If you scroll down to the "Why use an acid toner" bit, it says it lowers the skin's ph. How I understood it was that the ph needs returning to it's natural state for the acids to work or they might not be as effective.

I was looking at it the other week to slot into the ph reducer step on a morning to speed me up a bit. Didn't actually buy it yet though.

Cornwall's, the Clarifying CosRX is watery the Whitehead one is a little more viscous.

Report
lucysmam · 16/07/2015 10:53

So while the acid is in there, it might not be as effective as a separate product whose main focus is the chemical exfoliation iyswim?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Hopefully I'm past being confusing now!

I have decided, finally on the scinic honey aio ampoule. There's more product for the money & hopefully sticky mitts dd2 won't get into it since it comes in like a honey jar.

Bigger jar also = more chance to experiment with diy sheet masks Grin
