Did you use the Jolse website or ebay store? The website made my head hurt Confused Samples from them tend to be decent Smile

I've just put a diy sheet mask in the fridge - green tea, 2 drops of tea tree and ten! drops of the HL lotion toner. Must invest in some green tea powder rather than bags -think that would be easier to judge the amount I use and possibly have a look for a cheaper hydrating lotion toner for the texture or it'll get £££!

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 14:02

I'm browsing mini fridges on ebay...you can get a 4l one for £20 ish. But they say car adapter on the listings; I'm wondering if you could use a normal plug adapter and keep one in the bedroom. It'd save me filling the big fridge with sheet masks and trekking up/down for vit c serum in a morning Grin

XiCi · 11/07/2015 15:01

My sum37 miracle rose stick cleanser arrived yesterday and it's gorgeous. I got it from a UK based seller on amazon with next day delivery through Prime and it was cheaper than ebay prices so very pleased.
My Benton snail bee essence also arrived yesterday. I'm just finishing the Mizon one so will be interested to see how it compares.
Still waiting on the innisfree no sebum powder which I have high hopes for after the reviews on here

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 16:39

Hope I've remembered right...good luck with your travel with your girls tomorrow Frugal, I hope your move is as stress free as possible Thanks

AmazingDisgrace · 11/07/2015 17:58

Thanks LucysMam Smile

re eye cream I use the Mizon snail eye cream in the morning as its really nice and light. At night and probably in winter too I imagine I use the Missha near skin one as its a bit more heavy duty.

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 18:19

hmmm, I'm going to have to re-think re-purposing the Nivea blue pot for body use...it's very unspreadable (is that even a word Hmm ).

I'm off to google that Gerti, it sounds good!

will not mention that I have yet to figure out the eyebrow powder without giving myself hd brows Grin

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 19:53

I have found the cutest cat shaped marshmallows via Instagram! They work out at just over £4.50 plus shipping...but are oos atm Sad But they're still lovely to look at Grin

PoppyAmex · 11/07/2015 20:44

All my little Korean packages are arriving along with loads of samples!

I just started using Banila Clean it Zero and I absolutely love it. Will probably try the su:m37 rose stick after, just to compare but it will have to be pretty amazing to beat the Banila.

Hada Labo's lotion is another winner, but still to compare it to Missha's FTE (or could I use both at the same time?)

Mizon collagen cream is just meh; feels nice and it's absorbed quickly, but didn't blow my socks off so I'm moving on.

Moving on to Shara Shara Honey Bomb and LJH Propolis; will report back.

Also got loads of things from Missha's 50% Sale and received some aloe vera samples and some body care (shower gel, lotion and shampoo) so might try that soon.

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 20:49

I think you could use both the FTE and HL at the same time - the fte is like a 'starter' I think, there are plenty of other similar products too. You put it straight on after blotting the water away to start the moisture locking process asap (unless using vit c I think as that needs to go on the barest skin possible). IIrc, others are called things like 'three second starter'. Might be worth more of a google before you decide for or against one or the other Smile

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 20:53

I'd be interested in what you think of the Honey Bomb too...am dithering (just for a change) over honey/propolis products.

No idea why I dither so much over these things...in my limited experience they both work well for me!

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 21:05

My tea tree/HL/green tea diy mask is rather nice. The tea tree makes it slightly 'tingly' ...tingly is the wrong word...fresh? maybe is better. It's made the fridge smell clean and fresh too Grin Not sure it'll actually do much but it's relaxing nonetheless!

PoppyAmex · 11/07/2015 22:03

Thanks, lucysmam - I just did a bit of reading and you're absolutely right, I can use FTE, followed by Hada Labo. Just tried it and it felt great.

I'll let you know about the Honey Bomb; in the meantime, I'm loving the sound of that tea tree mask - did it smell nice? I love tea tree and eucalyptus during the Summer (not that I'd call the 16 C and rain we have in Scotland at the moment "Summer")

lucysmam · 11/07/2015 22:42

It smelled lovely! The fridge still smells all fresh like tea tree. I'm hoping it'll help with the cystic monsters I was brewing the other day.

Am going to invest in some surgical spirit too - try sanitising my phone screen and sunglasses since one was in a completely new place for me. I had blamed the aloe propolis from Benton but now Scrambled mentioned the sunglasses thing I'll try it again at some point.

GrinAndTonic · 11/07/2015 23:34

I just went slightly nuts on the RoseRose site. I'm not sure what I bought now Confused. Whatever it was it was cheap. They are having a big sale too.

My biore sunscreen finally arrived and it is lovely. It doesn't feel mask like like a lot of sunscreens can.

I've been using the bravura ginseng toner for a while. It's nothing special but I find it a bit drying.

ilovetosleep · 12/07/2015 00:29

I am so tempted by shara shara honey bomb - please report back!

NewsreaderChic · 12/07/2015 01:00

Oh yes me too, i like the look of the honey bomb.

Does anyone else use a Vit c serum and an acid toner? Because the serum goes on before the toner (with wait times) it feels that the toner clears the serum, so I wonder if I ought to use another serum as well. At the moment I use the Innisfree version of FTE, then Mizon aio snail cream. My skin is combination so I don't want anything too heavy.

mowglik · 12/07/2015 03:17

I do use another serum after vit c and acid toner as I usually just wash my face after the acid tone step (wash as in splash water on). I both my vit c and acid toner quite sticky so it feels lighter doing it this was as I have oily skin.

bigbuttons · 12/07/2015 10:08

I treat my c serum as an acid-part of the cleansing stage . I use an acid afterwards and then use another serum-hylamide atm.
gerti like like the sound of the peach powder. I'm after something that doesn't have the grey undertone.

NewsreaderChic · 12/07/2015 10:47

Thanks Mowglik & BigButtons that's what Ive been thinking, means I'll have to buy a serum now yippee oh no.
