Amber I saw TT a couple of weeks ago. Great fun, I was four people in at the front Shock, always a brilliant night.

Another BBq in the hut tonight. Different people, might just wear what I wore last Saturday Shock marinaded butterflied leg of lamb, Cous cous salad with plenty of mint, spinach salad with feta, bn squash and roasted pine nuts, chocolate brownies with strawbs. Plenty of prosecco to make KIR royale and bitter for the blokes

libertychick · 20/06/2015 17:03

A friend of mine was there last night too Amber with her teenage DD's. Sounds like a great night.

I'm on a bag roll - have just ordered this MbMJ one. Cranagh Flowers for the pointer towards MF. Have you ordered the same one?

bettykt · 20/06/2015 18:56

Hello,

Stokey hope you've had a fab day at the tennis and that you took the waterproof as it's still raining here.

HappyGirl and Blooming love the Scottish dimension you've added to the thread. Dh and I argue over our love of Glasgow (me) and Edinburgh (him) Smile.

Lib two bags in a week, not bad going even for a Voguette! Very nice indeed.

QueenC and Dry enjoy your evenings. Would so love to be a guest chez Dry in the hut, love the sound of your menu.

Had a nice day in town with dh and ds browsing the sales plus lunch at The Wolseley. Got some flats at Tod's (like these but bicolour tan and white) but no luck on the bag hunt. Didn't like any of the Smythson totes on sale, saw a really nice small bag but resisted temptation as would love to get a trio at some stage this year. Also ordered a new watch strap for my reverso, tan alligator with cream stitching.

HappyGirlNow · 20/06/2015 22:15

maradesbois probably surprisingly considering the convo, but I prefer Glasgow! I only stay nearer and work in Edinburgh now but I grew up closer to Glasgow and went to uni there.. Edinburgh is stunningly beautiful but Glasgow is beautiful too in its own less obvious and grittier way and Glaswegians are great! Grin

HappyGirlNow · 20/06/2015 22:16

Plus the shopping is better in Glasgow! Grin

bloomingheather · 20/06/2015 22:43

Haha, was just about to post to say that maradesbois obviously has impeccable style and judgement preferring Glasgow but was afraid that I would offend Happygirl - but you clearly both have impeccable style and judgement Wink Grin (mind you, you post on this thread, so that goes without saying!).
I also went to uni here happygirl and was born here so I'm a tad biased.....
Oh btw, didn't manage to get to Zara today - was too busy recovering from nauseating uphill sprints at boot camp by eating tapas around the corner from it Blush

HappyGirlNow · 20/06/2015 23:05

Grin blooming I'm a Lanarkshire lassie!!!

HappyGirlNow · 20/06/2015 23:06

And now an honorary Fifer... Smile

HappyGirlNow · 20/06/2015 23:07

Ps I was also just eating tapas! Dinner out at Cafe Andaluz in Edinburgh..

bloomingheather · 20/06/2015 23:19

I'm an East Renfrewshire girl (which used to be boring old Renfrewshire when I was wee!) Hope you enjoyed the tapas.
Meant to say, that's a lovely Smythson bag maradesbois and a great sale price. I'm coveting Amber's cape too - what a beautiful print.

Stokey · 21/06/2015 07:57

Love the MBMJ Lib, is that the cement colour? I've got the aluminium, it's great.

I'm an Edinburgh lover, went to Uni there and stayed for a couple of years after, but can see how Glasgow is more "real". Also had some great nights out at the Barrowlands many moons ago.

I was very relieved to have the waterproof and my Stan's when the torrential rain came down yesterday. Only saw a few games of Murray sadly before it got washed out but he was playing brilliantly.

How did the move go Mara? Unpacking always takes so long.

MarshaBrady · 21/06/2015 08:12

It did rain heavily Stokey and I thought of you and was glad you went for the warmer option.

Mara many good wishes in your new home. Nothing better than finding a place for everything. I'd want to do it all too.

Bought loads of the garden shop yesterday, loads of roses, acres and climbing things, and the dc went wild helping with it all. The heavy rain was quite handy. Better last longer than the dress I could have bought.

MarshaBrady · 21/06/2015 08:13

Lovely bag Lib

QueenCardigan · 21/06/2015 08:27

Morning. Feeling a little delicate and now I have to go to dd concert rehearsal. Listening to a bunch of kds playing violin/cello is not want I want to do right now. Already looking forward to coming home and doing Sunday morning links!

QueenCardigan · 21/06/2015 09:31

I take back my earlier comment. The music is sounding amazing. So proud of dd.
