Summer and holidays are coming, and the Voguettes will be more than ready!

All welcome and the more links the better but please don't mention House of Colour. Wink

Morning all, how are we all?
shop one of the leggings I got were james perse really happy with them, so hopefully your t will be great!
Did my first day yesterday, it was ok, missed my friends, but it'll be fine once I get to know the new girls better :) the best news is that until sept I can take classes whilst I'm at work part of the induction process, how cool is that!
I'm still in trainer hell. The coral nike ones I loved but are too small (us 5), the khaki ones fit fine (us5.5) but I'm just not sure, they really look like old fashioned running trainers... I'm really tempted to get a pair of stan smiths in a 3, which I probably won't wear to work, but casually, but they'll be a bit too big so will need an insole (I tried them on Friday in London, which was one of the reasons I was freaking out about my shoe size, but reading online I think they just run large, do you all agree?). I also like the Adidas zx flux! but unsure what size to order now, are all adidas big, or jus the stan smiths... I might pop to our local jd sports today or I might just procrastinate more urghhhhh

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2015 10:32

Morning gosh it's cold. Wish I'd worn the peacoat.

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2015 10:34

What's everyone wearing? I'm in Burberry pants and P Lim peachy pink jumper, clashing nicely with orange Celine and shivering.

Karbea · 09/06/2015 11:04

It's freezing! Brown Ralph Lauren cardi, animal print MK silk top, frame blue skinnies, primark white lace espadrilles.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/06/2015 11:35

Morning.

Am wearing new coral DVF :)

Lib thanks for pm, have replied. shop pm too.

Working from home. Looking uber glam in Uniqlo navy track pants, Shop's Splendid yellow t-shirt and a long drapey Jigsaw cardi that used to be grey but which I dyed yellow. Will add grey and yellow NB trainers for the nursery run.

The weather is depressing Sad Come on - it's JUNE.

QueenCardigan · 09/06/2015 11:47

No fashion news from me. I am currently in a fog of pmt. Bloated, cramps, spots, sugar cravings, fatigue, headache and I literally could kill someone. I just need my period to start to feel normal again Angry. Oh and car troubles but at least the aa membership is earning its keep.

Freezing here again too. I'm about to get changed to go out this afternoon into something warmer as I'm cold in short sleeves and cropped jeans.

OneLittleLady · 09/06/2015 12:16

morning all. dull grey and chilly here though i am going nowhere as i have a luit review to get written over the next two days. ive got my abstract, ive got my intro, just the body and conclusion to write now. ive got about 2100 words to play with so just going to throw myself in and get on with it!

QueenCardigan · 09/06/2015 12:21

Aside from pjs and sweat pants, do any of you have a fail safe pmt outfit? I've just tried on about 8 different things but have settled on a grey lace tee and cobalt cardi. Still feel humongously bloated in my jeans but feel I look okayish.

OneLittleLady · 09/06/2015 13:25

QueenC I have a pair of jeans two sizes too big which I wear. I bloat horrifically, my stomach can swell by 1-2 dress sizes so I wear those jeans, any of my nice soft tees and a warm cardigan. I flip between being too hot and too cold so the cardigan is very handy. I don't get a period anymore though as I take norethisterone on a permanent basis as they are so bad. Dr is looking into potential early menopause as both my Mum and her mum had one so he suspects i'm following suit.

A third of the way done with my lit review! having a break and then going back to it with fresh eyes and renewed enthusiasm hopefully!

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2015 15:45

It's just skinnies and t here. But I have been thinking about a post exercise outfit. ie after the shower and too early in the evening for pjs.

BrandyAlexander · 09/06/2015 16:04

Hello! Just came on to give QueenC a hug.

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2015 16:14

Marsha I could do with a post exercise outfit. At the mo I either keep sweaty gym kit until I shower or get into pjs increasingly earlier Hmm

This jewelley brochure came with Grazia. Some nice bits astrid&miyu

Stokey · 09/06/2015 17:00

I love my Hush harems for hangovers, feeling fat & post shower pre-PJ slob.

I'm in pink cashmere jumper, grey silk shirt & skinnies here- very chilly when I took DD1 to eye hospital at 6.30 this morning. Op went well and she did brilliantly, has barely made a fuss & now is snuggled up in front of the Aristocats.

Has anyone embraced the Bardot trend yet? I tried on this chambray dress in Zara last week and it was surprisingly flattering on my shoulders but a bit too mini to wear except on holiday.

shopafrolic · 09/06/2015 17:03

Really pleased that your DD is doing well Stokey - great news :)
Hugs for QueenC
Marsha Still ill here, tried Pilates this morning, felt awful (am still in my Pilates gear) epic fail!

shopafrolic · 09/06/2015 17:08

Atterley Road has had a brand refresh here Or has it been like that for ages?

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2015 18:11

Yes different. Just got an email as I saw this, they've dropped the Road part and new look. Good idea

shopafrolic · 09/06/2015 19:10

Looks nice and clean - not much stock though?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 09/06/2015 19:46

I don't think they ever had that much stock. They seem to mostly stock Scandinavian brands now, gone are the days of whistles etc. The site looks nice though. I remember last year when it seemed that they were going bust (maybe they were bought out?) and I used up all my loyalty points to buy an IRO playsuit for £10, good times!

Well done your brave DD Stokey, think you must deserve a Wine treat now too for getting through it!

Hope you feel better soon QueenC. I have been oddly PMTish this month (for me) too - nothing as bad as you but a few very low days. I've also been bloated for the last 4 months, but tomorrow is my last day of antibiotics, yay.

AmberNectarine · 09/06/2015 19:51

Karbea you can get kids Stans (I have them). Just like normal ones only cheaper and half sizes.

shop sorry to hear you're still feeling ropey, take it easy!

queen sorry about PMT woes also. I have never suffered (I know, I'm grateful) so no advice but I do enjoy harem pants when I need a bit of comfort. I have two hush Pairs which I always put on after workouts dry - wearing them now as I did a 5 miler (to sports direct to get wellies for DS' school trip to a farm tomorrow, the glamour). Should have foam rolled after my long run on Sunday because my right quad and hamstring were so tight.

Off to Westfield with my mum tomorrow - nothing on my hit list, just going for a browse.

AmberNectarine · 09/06/2015 20:03

Oh and Stokey so glad it all went well!

OneLittleLady · 09/06/2015 20:10

glad to hear everything went well stokey Thanks

over half way done with my assignment. it's both easy and hard at the same time, keeping my own opinions out of it and only working with the very dry reading materials I have (which are all interviews e journals and conference papers) is the hard part, it would be a lot easier if i could say 'i think...i feel,.....my thoughts on this' but i can't, it has to be me talking about what other people have talked about as it's a literature review not an essay. going to hate doing the bibliography, they are so tedious and take ages as they have to perfectly conform with my institutions academic conventions. ugh, its the bit i hate most for writing essays/lit reviews etc

libertychick · 09/06/2015 20:46

Referencing is a complete pita one.

Great news about DD stokey. She sounds like a little champion!

Have fun tomorrow amber

We are synching again Queenc. I am bloated and tired. I hate all my clothes when I have PMT! If you work out a magic formula for looking OK let me know. Thanks for the sales dates.

Agree Atterley need some stock!

Sorry to hear you are not well shop Brew Flowers
