bettykt · 25/04/2015 07:00

Oh I like those too Karbea

Dry glad you found a pair you liked. MNV to the rescue again.

One unexpected gifts are always lovely. Happy birthday to ds today.

QueenCardigan · 25/04/2015 08:16

dry ifyou want a tank rather than a vest then this

Lovely earrings one. Have a great day.

No fashion news here at the moment. Just about to throw on yesterdays clothes to take dd to orchestra. I'll dress up later when we have friends round for dinner (lemon prosecco cocktails, asparagus, beef wellington, lemon cheesecake and baileys mint cocktails)

Topazandpearl · 25/04/2015 09:27

What a lovely start to your weekend One. Hope you have a great time with DS today.

Looking forward to hearing about your style day Shop. Loved your shoes in last night's pic.

I love a new handbag discovery Blair. If anyone has one, I'd be interested in reading reviews.

Glad your week went well Marsha and hope you can relax and recharge over the weekend.

I will be doing some RL shopping today, so will keep a look-out Dry.

Catching up with earlier posts, but just wanted to mention that is exciting news about your move Cranagh. We got too entrenched in jobs, schools etc to ever consider moving back (and, besides, DH is English, so has no real desire to) but I have wondered what it would have been like. You never know, we could have a Dublin mini mu when I am home on a visit!

Speaking of mini mu's, Mara we must try to have one before your move!

If our move works out we will only be moving to a mile away. Not as stressful as some of yours, but could be bad enough!

Anyhow, if I buy anything nice, I will link later. Have a good day everyone.

Topazandpearl · 25/04/2015 09:28

X-posted, glad you got your shoes Dry.

Drywhiteplease · 25/04/2015 09:45

Must be mad, just done 2hrs of cleaning, now I can out my feet up for the rest of the day ....yippee! Started "I am Pilgrim" at last grizzly, gripping stuff ...........still in pjs, but I do have bright red nails Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/04/2015 10:05

my last post last night was meant for One but could also have been for Dry Grin

I'm about to take my car for an MoT but only just realised 10 mins ago that I am 2 months early :( I have no idea why I thought it was due!

Dry if you want a silk cami the Jigsaw ones are lovely (again, recommended by Belinda!) You can get free delivery to Waitrose if you order from JL which is always nice.

shop hope you have a fab day with the consultant.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 25/04/2015 10:23

Happy weekend everyone!

what a week, looking forward to relaxing this weekend (after housework etc etc) just been had my eyebrows done as I have a wedding to go to next week and dont want red brows on the day. I have an opticians appointment for contacts later as well so its not so relaxing today already Hmm

DH surprised me with this dress thursday and its so nice thickish material but not too heavy for the summer.

Off out for a meal tonight DS turns 16 on Monday but not sure where and off to Cheshire Oaks on Thursday when I turn 21 again (in my dreams Grin ) DH has booked a hotel so we can go up the night before.

OneLittleLady · 25/04/2015 10:34

muddling our DS's share a birthday though my boy is younger!

won't be around much of today as Ds will be here and everyone is going for an early birthday lunch.

love to all and do let us know how you get on Shop

QueenCardigan · 25/04/2015 11:00

Ooh yes, how exciting shop. Do let us know.

Im still feeling washed out so anyone fancy playing spend a grand. You have a £1000 to spend. Go....

QueenCardigan · 25/04/2015 11:13

I would get these as I haven't managed to find a high St version. Although they seem to have sold out everywhere.

QueenCardigan · 25/04/2015 11:22

QueenCardigan · 25/04/2015 11:43

And some earrings but can't find any at the moment...

MarshaBrady · 25/04/2015 11:44

Nice QueenC would really suit you.

If I had to shop I'd buy flats, jeans, tops and jumpers. Not very specific yet.

I need lots of stuff atm but no appetite for shopping , might go in to town today as need it for work.

OP posts:
Cranagh · 25/04/2015 12:03

Love the top, QueenC and the menu for tonight sounds delicious.

Topaz, I would love to meet up in Dublin! I would be happy to stay in London a few more years but we think if we don't go now, while the DC are quite young, we will miss the window.

If I had £1k (if only), I would buy Joseph trench and a navy DVF Zarita. Gone in a flash.

Really nice of your DHs, One and Muddling.

My DD1's birthday party is this afternoon in a craft place so in my usual jeans. But wearing these new shoes which I love.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/04/2015 12:32

Happy birthday to your DD Cranagh :)

With £1k right now I'd buy that navy bag I linked yesterday, a suit from Reiss (jacket, trousers and dress) and 2 pairs of tan leather sandals, 1 flat, 1 platform.

Realised this morning I am crap at casual outfits. I think it's partly my style personality, but putting on a skirt to go to the garage would have made me feel (and look) silly. All I seem to wear at the weekend is skinnies and breton tops - would love some go-to tops and also shoes. Winter is easy because Pistols, but I struggle in spring.

Lovely links QueenC, you know your style so well. Hope you have fun tonight, your planned drinks and food sound yummy.

justasecond · 25/04/2015 12:35

I would so buy that trench too Cranagh it is just the perfect length, colour, everything. Will have to ponder on the left over £400...

Drywhiteplease · 25/04/2015 12:36

I'd copy cranagh, but Zarita in wine like Mara.

Muddling if your DS is 16 does that mean GCSE soon? Fancy joining fedup and my supports group Grin

Drywhiteplease · 25/04/2015 12:39

Blair I'm the same, just drawn to heels and dresses. This thread has helped me with my casual stuff no end.
queenC I thought of you the other day. Wore my cobalt blue cardi to work, collegue commented it made my eyes "pop", think I need more watches your pin boards more closely
marsha another collegue was wearing black city shorts, thought of you, looked great.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 25/04/2015 13:01

Dry yes GCSEs soon, i will be a nervous wreck more than he will! support group sounds great, so I'm in! we have also been doing the visits to the colleges round by us as his school doesn't have a 6th form.

We had a postcard from the school the other day saying he was doing great with his revising and attending the support classes.

still thinking about the £1000 shopping question, though the other day one of the ladies in the meeting i was in had a lovely bayswater tote in grey (i think it was a bayswater it looked it was) and when i was speaking about training the lady said " are you looking at me because i need to training?" i wanted to say "nope im focused on your bag because I'm after that colour!" but didn't think it would have gone down well in a room where we were the only 2 females.
