Oh poor you QueenC that was my night before.

Dry love the outfit, loved who you saw last night!Envy. I am not very hip.Grin

So the bling is back big style today. Ootd is plain black dress by Damsel in a dress with trust M&S jacket. Jazzing it up with beautiful Ralph Lauren silk scarf and matching lk Bennett burgundy t bar shoes with 4" stilettos! Handbag is grey suede Mulberry Bayswater. Then there is the bling..... Omg where to start? Gucci diamond watch (the most subtle!), Boodles raindance ring, 7ct diamond bracelet, tiffany diamond studs (1ct) and my lucie Campbell diamond and sapphire necklace. Oh yes and my Tiffany engagement ring. It's not as horrific as it sounds! convinces no one Grin

shopafrolic · 21/04/2015 09:31

I meant to say Dry what no beret today? Did your DD go last night or was it a mum's night out?

shopafrolic · 21/04/2015 09:32

I'm getting on a train heading your way Novice to follow you round until you drop something Grin

MarshaBrady · 21/04/2015 09:34

Morning Shop I was thinking about you as an waiting for some away day thing to start at a Hilton. Surrounded by young trendies. I used to do the talking now I'm just sitting, enjoying the change Grin. The people at the agency are really nice. Very friendly, still not sure if I've gone off on a random route never to return to what I know.

Lib how are you doing? Must be big day soon? Good luck if so!

QueenC Brew from me too.

MarshaBrady · 21/04/2015 09:38

Morning,

Oh no QueenC, you must be exhausted. Is dh still away? Can empathise as ds woke me at 4am having a nightmare & after settling him I didn't manage to go back to sleep. Not sleeping well in general atm, so much still to do here before we move house and it's hard to switch off at night.

Blair for £50 I would keep the clutch. It's nice and summery & am sure you'll use.

One meant to say yesterday great outfit, the converse sound ace.

Muddling shoes look nice but very high.

Novice your outfit sounds fab. Think the bling works becsuse you tone down the rest eg plain studs and bag, classic shapes & luxe fabrics. Thought of you at the w/e, there was a woman swimming next to me in Chopard Happy Diamonds drop earrings and Bulgari sunglasses with loads of diamante and she amazingly carried it off!

Betty well done on the weightloss. Am back on 5:2 today and feeling better already. Just back from a run, so many people at the park this morning with the nice weather. Much nicer than treadmill.

BrandyAlexander · 21/04/2015 09:46

Ootd is black dress by Damsel in a dress with trusty M&S jacket. Jazzing it up with beautiful Ralph Lauren silk scarf and matching lk Bennett burgundy t bar shoes with 4" stilettos! Handbag is grey suede Mulberry Bayswater. Then there is the 10ct worth of bling.....!

BrandyAlexander · 21/04/2015 09:47

Oh that's worth posted twice when I tried to shorten post!GrinGrinGrin

BrandyAlexander · 21/04/2015 09:52

Thanks Mara. Ooh Chopard! Link?

Yes, good luck Lib.

Shop, i have double checked that the clasp thing is on the bracelet as dh will kill me if I lose it.Grin I reminded him that there is a significant anniversary coming up and he says I have to not lose anything this year. I have this Tiffany's 1/2ct diamond pendant that I can't find at the moment. Best not disclose that one!Wink

LinusDKD · 21/04/2015 09:57

Morning!

Poor you queenc! We had a phase like that with Ds when we first took the bars off his bed. That's why DD still sleeps with hers on the bed for as long as possible!

I am wearing a Petit Bateau breton as well today dry with my Jimmies and Tod's loafers.

Good luck today lib!

Great outfit novice!

QueenCardigan · 21/04/2015 10:36

Thanks everyone. It just because she slept during the day so then couldn't sleep at night. The joys!

novice you sound positively OTT but I know if I saw you, you wouldn't look it at all. You carry the bling well.
mara dh is here but super stressed. Lots of presentations/talks to give at work which he takes hours to prepare and I think he's getting a little nervous about next weekends mammoth cycle challenge (cycling to Paris for charity).

No glamour from me today as I've just been to Aldi and then I'm putting up ds bed which I've roped a friend in to help me.

QueenCardigan · 21/04/2015 10:46

Woohoo, the green ravello has arrived. Utterly perfect colour. Will save it for my friends 40th next month to wear with black crops.

QueenCardigan · 21/04/2015 10:48

I've cancelled the silver one which was on a 6 week wait as not even I need 4 ravello tops Grin

bettykt · 21/04/2015 11:05

QueenC Flowers sleepless nights are super tough aren't they? Hope the Ravello has cheered you up.

Novice you need a bodyguard. I would offer my services but my martial arts skills are a bit rusty. Wink

Mara I forgot you were in the midst of moving. Hoping it's all going smoothly for you. Thanks on the weight loss and good luck on 5:2, I've tried that in the past with success but have found another plan that's more me.

Marsha glad you're still enjoying work, still not tempted to do a bunk at lunch time Grin

No OOTD yet, working from home so am still in dressing gown, slob Blush

BrandyAlexander · 21/04/2015 11:49

bettykt and LinusGrin

I love that top QueenC. very you though wouldn't suit me. I saw a girl with floral trousers this morning and thinking of trying those. a year after the trend does anyone have them?

sun is streaming into my office. my sparkles are all sparklyGrin

Stokey · 21/04/2015 11:54

Oh I love this weather - all your OOTDs sound great, especially Novice sparkling bling.

Like Shop I'm off to pilates after 4 week break - will compare aches and pains later. I bought a second hand bike a couple of weeks ago so am cycling for the first time in 3 years... luckily it's only a mile or so, hope I don't crash Hmm

Just in Hush harems and pale yellow tee with trusty Toms for my bike but I'm definitely brown despite spending the hols in England... woo hoo.

maradesbois · 21/04/2015 12:06

Novice they were similar to these.

Am dressed like Linus today with Petit Bateau breton & Tod's but with Gap ankle-skimming khakis.

Stokey enjoy your bike ride in the sun.

Drywhiteplease · 21/04/2015 13:42

I'm not complaining, but boy is it warm!
shop I have my beret at work Grin This is not a joke makes kids speak better French if they wear it I find!!
Ok.... Olly Murs! Mums night out . Great pick me up on a Monday after weeks of Homeland and GoT, I need fluff!

Fedupnagging · 21/04/2015 14:12

Gorgeous day here too. Spent the morning having coffee outside with a friend I've not seen in ages.

Ootd is boden white skinnies turned up, j crew embellished navy stripe sweatshirt with 3/4 sleeves and blue suede shoes, well, loafers.

Queen things sound a bit tough atm - hope it all improves soon for you.

Novice I don't know how you do it but you carry off all your bling so well; nothing looks over the top at all.

Love those earrings you linked Mara. Try not to get too stressed over the move.

Muddling those shoes you killed the thread with last night Wink would definitely look fab with flares. I'd break my neck in them though!

Has your boden order arrived yet Karbea?

AmberNectarine · 21/04/2015 15:11

My two have started sleeping together in DD's bed. Quite sweet really - they seem to sleep well together.

No interesting OOTD from me - in sweaty betty ensemble post long run. Now picking up kids and by the time I'm home and showered I'll probably just put PJs on! Hard work running in this heat - there was no shade!

Have just collected leopard heels dry - will report back!

QueenCardigan · 21/04/2015 16:03

Phew, the bed took most of the day but I have a happy boy. I had been hoping to fit a run in but with this heat its probably best I couldn't. Circuits tomorrow morning though.

I've definitely been eating way too much. Especially 'healthy' stuff like nuts-it's amazing how the calories add up!

libertychick · 21/04/2015 17:36

Thanks for all the good exam vibes! They didn't work though Grin it was a bastard! But over now and I am on my way home post 4 glasses of wine and a debrief in a nice west London pub...

shopafrolic · 21/04/2015 17:37

Well done on the bed QueenC
Lib Wine Wine Wine Over now xxxx
Marsha how did I not know that MiC is back on?! Shock
Mara when do you actually move?
Cranagh you must be moving soon too I guess?
Stokey well done you cycling to Pilates - my class is only a five minute walk away which is fab. It was lovely to be back - my back locks up if I go more than a week without.
