Dry fab you got a Botox buddy Grin and glad that what you've done has made you happy.

Amber I love my leopard print heels, I wear them a lot, they're surprisingly versatile.

Muddling your afternoon sounds bliss, glad you're happy with your new purchases.

Have a great evening Shop and happy birthday to do

Casual OOTD black JCrew pixie again charcoal merino sweater and NB trainers. Still a bit chilly here so am a bit green Dry with your Gigi wearing.

Been for a lovely coastal stroll with DC, with the obligatory ice-cream of course.

Karbea · 18/04/2015 17:27

dry I'm sure your face is lovely! I meant hers, because if you don't like her mouth I'd worry about using her practitioner.

I'm cold too, although I've all the windows and doors open, so I've put on a chocolate Ralph Lauren cardi.

Woo!!! We are going to do our extention!!! I'm getting a dressing room... I will be boring you big time!!!!

OneLittleLady · 18/04/2015 17:45

Today has been nice and I weighed myself for the first time in four weeks and.....I have lost almost 3/4's of a stone!! I am so so surprised but tbh, i didn't eat a great deal on holiday as I didn't much care for all the fried american food and all the high fructose corn syrup in everything gave me terrible reflux. american food is not really for me

Really liking the trousers I have on though they are cheapies, they are actually very flattering despite me havign to size up in them, nice slim legs but not too clingy and the fit on the hips, just for once, is great. Shame they aren't cropped on me like they would be on someone of average height with average length legs!!

Ds has been today and it was the grand day of pocket money day for him which, of course, pleased him immensely. it's his birthday in just over a week so i am in birthday lunch prep mode, making sure his cake will be done in time and that everyone knows where to go and when. Must pick up wrapping paper, cards, gift vouchers and balloons towards the end of the week. He said he's really looking forward to it and his cake design is a surprise to him as I haven't told him what it is and he didn't choose it BUT I know he will be happy with it as it is bender from futurama which is his favourite tv show and has been for a while so I am confident that he will love it.

Well done on the weight loss one

Karbea misread your question......her work is not discrete, lips give it away, she described her filler lady as "a bit brutal"...... So that's a no from me, wrinkles aren't worth torture are they? AND.....how exciting about your extension.,I bored everyone had one last year 3 bathrooms, a master bedroom with dressing room so I can be support here, love it so much now it's done. My advice for surviving is to focus on the big stuff, and , a lot like wedding, don't stress about tiny details.....start looking at stiff now light fittings, sockets, windows, even the boring stuff so you are ready when your builder springs a decision on you. Pinterest was great for me to make "mood boards" about the looks I wanted.

AmberNectarine · 18/04/2015 20:10

I have this necklace karbea which I wear loads.

santa love those jeans!

one well done on the weight loss! I have lost 6lbs since I started my new fitness regime so I'm feeling pretty good at the moment.

OneLittleLady · 18/04/2015 20:47

thanks amber and Dry I'm really pleased and it was really unexpected too. Anyone who has been to the USA, is it just me or does all the food there taste really sweet? Ive noticed since coming home that english food seems much more solidly savoury and appears to be a lot more salty to me even though I never ever add extra salt to anything

also, dry, you are gorgeous as you are. don't change a thing, frown lines and all!

Karbea · 18/04/2015 20:50

amber do you? Perfect! I'll order it tmr then. I was thinking that one or one of the other two. They are so lovely aren't they, perfect for summer :)

dry ours sounds very similar, we are having a room downstairs split in two to become dhs office and a family room/gym off of the kitchen with a shower room, which will be brilliant as the room currently is a wasteland dogs bedroom Enlarging the utility room to give access to the garage from the house, new carport. Upstairs one bedroom will be made smaller (to access my new bedroom suite ;) ) another bedroom will be built with ensuite and our suite which will have an ensuite dressing room and lounge area... I am so excited!!!
I've had pinterest boards since we got planning permission before infact

Karbea · 18/04/2015 20:52

one I know when I was in France and we toured some champagne houses they said that for the US market they add a lot more sugar to their bottles than they do for Europe (inc the uk), so it wouldn't surprise me if all their food/drinks are sweeter.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 18/04/2015 21:10

When we went to disney a few years a go people said to me about puttingvon weight because of the portions and how they cook food.
I came back losing weight as it was so hot i stuck to salads. I just cant eat when its hot and we did a fair bit of walking as well.
Im starting my summer body plan tomorrow. Hoping to lose at least 2lbs before the end of the month as i have a wedding to go to and will make my dress look better

Karbea · 18/04/2015 21:17

I always come back slimmer after hols, I either go to the gym or swim everyday, I eat more fish, fresh fruit and veg, my skin is lovely as I moisturise everyday and drink loads of water.

Drywhiteplease · 18/04/2015 21:25

One I noticed they put sugar in everything, the sugar in the bread and salad dressing shocked me. I also saw a baby in a buggy drinking coke in a baby bottle. This was horrible. I guess sugar is produced in the States so it's cheap.? On the whole we self catered so Ate pretty well.

LinusDKD · 18/04/2015 21:28

Just watched Dior and I with DH. Amazing!

DH got quite emotional a few times and I was fascinated with the craftsmanship of the seamstresses.

shopafrolic · 18/04/2015 23:16

Evening all! Dinner ended sooner than anticipated. Our friends' children started throwing up so they were called home by the babysitter. We'll have to do a re-run another night. I felt amazing in my outfit (I've been a lot more body confident since wandering around Grand Cayman in my bikini). DH loved the dress :)

Cranagh · 18/04/2015 23:16

I lived in the US for 5 years and loved the food, didn't find it sweet but they are pretty health conscious on the east coast. You definitely have to watch the portion size though.

Well done on the weight loss, One.

Karbea, definitely try the Boden chino shorts. Comptoir have some gorgeous dresses in your colours too, e.g

The Duffy sweater arrived this morning, soft as a feather, I love it.

Cranagh · 18/04/2015 23:17

Shame you had to cut the night short, Shop, outfit sounded fab though!

shopafrolic · 18/04/2015 23:20

Love that Comptoir dress Cranagh

Karbea · 19/04/2015 08:29

cranagh I have ordered them might have ordered the whole shop ;) so excited to see what they are like.

AmberNectarine · 19/04/2015 09:17

The one I have is tiny, tiny though karbea, not a statement piece if that's what you're after. Great for every day though.

Karbea · 19/04/2015 09:21

amber no I want it tiny, how big is it?

Fedupnagging · 19/04/2015 09:25

Morning all

Love the dress Cranagh linked - hope you like it when it arrives Karbea

Am after a denim dress and am seriously tempted by this one sits on hands as remembers am on a no spend for a couple of weeks.

Shop you looked stunning last night - the shoes were perfect with the dress. Shame you had to leave early though.

We went to,a BBQ yesterday afternoon and all evening and I wore the denim jumpsuit I impulse bought in the sales last year and wasn't sure about. Nearly everyone commented on how good it looked so will definitely be wearing that a lot this summer.

I teamed the jumpsuit with a cropped cardi in navy and my gigi's. Also wore this cape when it got a bit chillier. This was a last minute panic buy to take to Oz and have worn lots in the 3 weeks I've had it.

Fedupnagging · 19/04/2015 09:37

Forgot to say Karbea that I love the pineapple necklace too.

I am not a fan of Ugg boots but the slippers are lovely - so whilst i don't want to wish the summer away, I am looking forward to wearing these next winter.

AmberNectarine · 19/04/2015 09:39

Really small, about 1cm I think.

Karbea · 19/04/2015 09:41

I think that'll be perfect for lil'ole petite ingenue me ;)
