For sunshine, Stans and pretty prints. Pale denim or white broderie.

Whatever you like for Spring, high st or designer.

I meant to say hi to mazjacks! can't believe Shop roped you in!Grin

One welcome back, the diagnosis sounds promising!

Amber no I didn't work at Andersens, my very good friend worked there and I remembered beingEnvy when they went all casual.

lovely top QueenC though would look hideous on me! I have been muttering your name darkly for the last 2 days. I loved that Valentino dress and have 2 child free weddings where it would be perfect. I cannot even begin to justify the £2600 price.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 12/04/2015 21:17

Dior and I is on my list to see soon. I am addicted to a series on Netflix called once upon a time just nearly at the end of the 1st series (22 episodes) and its still a good story line usually i get fed up half way through. Another 3 series after this one.

QueenCardigan · 12/04/2015 21:32

Grin at novice

gorgeous cotton top. Almost tempted myself but I already have a white sleeveless top.

QueenCardigan · 12/04/2015 21:34

karbea?

santamarianovella · 12/04/2015 21:34

linus me too! Grin, I just love the way he talks, and he has a very calm manner, he has a bit of christoph waltz going on but more serious, I read that he is a serious art collector too.

muddling I haven't watched once upon a time, will start watching the highlander today, supposed to be good, dry would love it, hunky Scotsmen and all that Wink

I've never worked in a serious corporate world, can never survive it, I find it very unimaginative and stifling, even the couple of offices we renovated were a total bore, because the owner restricted everything, I much prefer my environment, laid back but not overly casual,

shop I just had a vision this Evening of you in the white party ,going up to maz and saying "excuse me mam, but do you have a moment to talk about your lord and saviour MNV" Grin Grin,

Karbea · 12/04/2015 22:14

santa I had to come out of it as I just couldn't see the point of any of it. I really do need to find a new direction, as I feel I'm wasting my life now.

I've been busily adding pins to my holiday board, I need to work out what to buy now.

shopafrolic · 12/04/2015 22:31

That was pretty much it Santa Grin both Maz and another lovely lady who I'm hoping will join looked fab. We got talking fashion, and bargains, best places to shop. Then social media so I dropped MNV into conversation and they joined MN on the spot! I should get a recruitment fee surely? Sat by myself at the other pool having an hour alone before our sushi dinner.
Meant to ask (talking of Scotsmen) what people thought of Andy murray's wedding? I thought Kim looked stunning - they both looked so happy. Hope they know they got married on the best day of the year.....

shopafrolic · 12/04/2015 22:34

Karbea best holiday buys / wears for me have been vintage J Crew tees. The black jumpsuit. Flat jewelled sandals, J Crew Panama, Boden swimwear and the Comptoir white dress which I will definitely wear again. Where are you going? Sorry if I missed it.

Karbea · 12/04/2015 22:45

shop if I'm honest I thought she looked pregnant. We are going to Cancun, where are you?

Drywhiteplease · 12/04/2015 22:50

Highlander? hunky Scotsmen? Santa with this news you are spoiling me Grin

Drywhiteplease · 12/04/2015 22:57

hang on a minute Hmm would this be Highlander staring the gorgeous Christophe Lambert? Good God I still haven't recovered from seeing him in a loin cloth in Greystoke Shock.......his Scottish/french accent was hysterical in Highlander, still sexy though better than Mel Gibson in Bravvheart, he looked a prat .......now Lian N in Rob Roy was something else though.........

santamarianovella · 12/04/2015 22:58

Oh gosh! It's outlander ,sorry ! highlanders nonetheless Grin

santamarianovella · 12/04/2015 23:24

No, no christoph lambert, Just finished the first episode, its good,

dry ,don't know if you've met before, but May i introduce you to jamie Mackenzie Fraser laird of ..i really forgot and im too sleepy now to search Grin , he looks like a burberry model Wink

shopafrolic · 13/04/2015 00:09

I only saw top half shots Karbea. I'm in Grand Cayman.

muddlingalongquitenicely · 13/04/2015 06:55

Love highlander the film though his accent wasnt as good as Seans egyptian scots!

Will have a look at outlander next on the 2nd series of once now youngest son and i are trying to guess the fairy tale characters in the real world before they are revealed.

LinusDKD · 13/04/2015 07:34

Morning!

Glorious day here! What a difference a bit of sunshine makes!

Bare feet in my new Tod's loafers today but I am wearing my coatigan now to run errands as it only warms up later in the day. The rest of my OOTT is some Leigh skinnies and a Uniqlo breton.

I put on 1 kg in one week Shock so as of today I'm back on the Fast Diet. Something tells me it's going to take longer than 1 week to lose it again. Hmm

santa your description of shop being a missionary trying to convert people to MNV made me laugh!

Drywhiteplease · 13/04/2015 08:32

linus easter hols have been a bit if a disaster here to......having a protein day and cutting out wine substituting for G + T for a bit.

Santa thanks for putting an extra smile on my face this sunny Monday morning, will add to my list, am on to season 3 of Homeland . I also need to read books Shock

Shop have a great last day

Fedupnagging · 13/04/2015 09:16

Hi all, I'm home had a fab time.

Stood on the scales earlier and they shrieked loudly - rather like dh when he saw my post holiday bank statement Grin. I also have had a massive headache for the last 2 days which is probably the result of not actually drinking wine!

Blair I raised a glass for you on Sat - you looked stunning.

Queen brilliant wedding pin board. I wore the yellow Marni floral dress, amalfi coulis hat and the Burberry prorsum sandals.

Shop you are looking well glamorous too. Love the fact you are on a recruitment drive! Hi and welcome to Maz.

Dry loved your roundup of the MNV table. Am off the wine too but not sure how long it will last.

One glad you had a great time. Also relieved you finally have a diagnosis and it sounds like you are feeling more like yourself now too.

Gorgeous day here too but as I'm doing lots of jobs and dog walking am just wearing gap jeans and navy boden t shirt. When I go out, I will put on my navy sandwich boyfriend cardigan which I found lurking at the back of the wardrobe. Footwear will be either cream loafers or blue supergas.

Ellisisland · 13/04/2015 09:32

Morning all

Fully recovered from sickness bug thank goodness.

Glad to see others have been watching Outlander Grin I watched it with my mum and sister the other day and all three of us tilted our heads at the same time to get a better view of the main male characters bare bum!

Blair glad you had a fab day I thought of you on Saturday.

I saw the photos of Andy Murray wedding and thought Kim looked gorgeous and so happy.

QueenC love that dress! Also thanks for that link. I needed a top like that so have purchased Smile

Fedup glad you had a good time. Don't you know you are only supposed to look at the scales with one eye open when you first get back from holiday ?! Wink

Am packing here as we are off to Ireland for a week tomorrow. Attending a wedding and seeing family hoping the weather is nice.

Stokey · 13/04/2015 10:36

Loved your wedding summary Dry very funny.

Interesting post about workwear Novice. I'm on the media side of finance and we were very casual in the noughties when I joined. But I really noticed coming back from maternity leave with Dd1 in 2010 how everyone has smartened up. The company had grown from sub 100 to around 250 during that time, and suddenly everyone looked more corporate. I think I've only every worn a suit at a conference but do wear dresses and skirts a lot.

Welcome Maz jealous of your holiday and welcome back Fed up.

We're still in Easter hols here but have outsourced kids for the day. I need to finalise my outfit for the Mad Hatter party this weekend. I'll post later with details.

QueenCardigan · 13/04/2015 10:42

Morning. Just done circuits and like many others of you I'm now on a health kick. When dh is off I treat it like a holiday so ive drank wine most days. Im now going to try and have a break for 2 weeks bet I cave by Friday. Back to fasting again today too.

Cranagh · 13/04/2015 11:05

I wasn't keen on Kim Sears' dress but she still looked beautiful and very happy.

Glad you had a good time, Fedup.

QueenC me too with the wine (though it is our wedding anniversary so will have a glass tonight), ran home from school drop off and will run back to collect DD2, that's a 50 minute run done! So still in running clothes (Lorna Jane if anyone is interested!)

Karbea · 13/04/2015 11:54

I've never taken a hat on holiday before, but I'm tempted to this time however... How do you actually take it, without it getting squashed?

OneLittleLady · 13/04/2015 12:46

afternoon all.

on oxford street with money to spend and i dont know where to go! i did pick up in tkmaxx a lovely 50s style full skirted black and white gingham dress and a lovely blue sun dress with swallows on it.

need some inspiration about where to go this afternoon while i wait for dp to finish work.he finishes after 5pm so i have loads of time for wandering

Ellisisland · 13/04/2015 13:03

karbea I fill it with a rolled up beach towel or something to help it keep its shape.

I just saw Judy Murray wore white to the wedding. I wonder if she did any strictly moves on the dance floor Grin
