It arrived today and I've just tried it on. Definitely too short for a dress (I'm 5'10") and fairly short for a tunic. Lovely though and I'm definitely keeping it.

Lovely haul noddy, the silvery chino things look really nice. I reserve judgement on culottes - as a pear I will not be partaking.

A recommendation from me - this H and M top is just lovely on, I have the navy and if I weren't pregnant would be buying white jeans to wear with. It has crucially washed well - the acrylic content worried me but it's been fine. Best buy in a while.

noddyholder · 30/03/2015 15:26

I like that as its the colour I love

noddyholder · 30/03/2015 15:28

www.kurtgeiger.com/klunk-tan-leather-37-carvela-kurt-geiger-shoe.html I am tempted by these but think they might be a bit ugly too think I'll try them.

Purpleflamingos · 30/03/2015 15:33

This is nothing to do with the school run dress in question, but here is one of my new ones, cheap, short, perfect with Chloe sandals. I'm just waiting for the weather..

Nice, it's always nice to dress well first thing, makes me feel ready for the world. Some days I dint manage to and take DSL to school in my Scruggs and slink away afterwards.

GratefulHead · 30/03/2015 15:35

....scruffs., damn autocorrect

petalpower · 30/03/2015 15:37

I've got that top in navy too Ballroom - agree, it's fab but I've managed to catch it a couple of times and snag holes in it as the weave is quite open.

BallroomWithNoBalls · 30/03/2015 15:44

Purpleflamingos that dress looks nice but more of a black opaques dress? For work maybe in winter.

lurkingaround · 30/03/2015 17:00

I have noddy's chinos. They are not slim on thigh. I am a bit chunky of thigh and they are good on me. Like 'em a lot.

noddyholder · 30/03/2015 17:06

Yes I sized down a bit to get the right size They are so comfy!

ElizabethHoover · 30/03/2015 18:26

whats the fabric like on the next one?

Thats nice, the best sleeve length

petalpower · 30/03/2015 20:46

Thickish jersey (if you meant me Elizabeth!) - bit of drape, not too stiff.

Culottes are flattering so ner

lurkingaround · 31/03/2015 19:07

Culottes?? I'm in the tribe.

Great sandals. Nice NewLook ones too. Am rather fond of a biggish chunky heel. Hoping for some this summer. I'd need to look around wouldn't I. Stop mucking about.

lurkingaround · 31/03/2015 19:10

Oh fantastic BR dupes! Didn't notice they were Matalan!

lurkingaround · 31/03/2015 19:12

Oh ffs. I meant highish not biggish heel. I should turn off autocorrect...

ElizabethHoover · 31/03/2015 19:50
