A shorter version of the Jigsaw dress. The fabric is v thick, though www.zara.com/uk/en/trf/dresses/striped-dress-with-flared-skirt-c358031p2509505.html

I'm in bed w a hideous flu and this dress browsing is v cheering

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2015 17:36

Not liking the Ben Hur sleeves.

Get well soon, Belinda.

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 29/03/2015 17:38

They are just too big, aren't they Remus? Thanks - being sick is dull.

5madthings · 29/03/2015 17:53

I like that zaragoza fitted dress on the last page. Very nice.

Some of the denim ones look a bit shapeless tbh. The one with the belt was a bit better. They all have the wrong neckline for my boobs.

Re sandals I got some nice ones from m&s older kids range the other year, flattish and simple and comfy.

5madthings · 29/03/2015 17:56

Zara dress wtf is my phone autocorecting Zara to zaragoza?!!

There is a toast dress that keeps popping up in an advert on mnet that looks nice.

TheHoundsBitch · 29/03/2015 17:56

Love the floral zara one, perfect shape for me, but the V neck isn't deep enough for broad shoulders/ big knockers Angry

noddyholder · 29/03/2015 17:59

I have a marks denim dress bought about 3 weeks ago but not been warm enough It is very flattering on though even if the pic is iffy www.marksandspencer.com/tencel-embroidered-neckline-denim-tunic-dress/p/p22355466

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2015 18:01

I like that Noddy, but it would look hideous on me.

noddyholder · 29/03/2015 18:02

I kept looking at it and thinking that but it is very flattering on sort of skims and minimises boobs which was my worry.

daftyburd · 29/03/2015 19:03

This looks denim dress looks bloody awful in the photo but was actually quite nice in real life.

daftyburd · 29/03/2015 19:11

Don't know why I put an extra look in above post.
As for tan sandals a pair in Office called Oregon took my fancy though I will probably end up with Snoopy & Woodstock Havianas

PastPerfect · 29/03/2015 19:26

Like the miss selfridge denim dress. My local miss s seems just to sell sequins Confused

ElizabethHoover · 29/03/2015 19:48

I'm going to order the Next one. Am in Scotland so sleeves not a problem. It's a bit Hush-at-half-the-price.

HiawathaDidntBotherTooMuch · 29/03/2015 20:04

I'm going to order the Dita one from Oasis. I am hoping that the belt will do something for me. And it can be shortened too. I am 5 foot 1 inch with a big bum and no boobs. Dresses are generally difficult, unless they're in a petite range.

Thanks all for doing the research!

White company did a very good school run dress a few years ago. Jersey, short sleeves, pull it on and go, type dress. I bought it in grey. I will keep checking their website for something similar.

snice · 29/03/2015 20:05

The White Company used to be brilliant for basic dresses, but they don't do anywhere near as good a range now.

nilbyname · 29/03/2015 20:08

I can't get on board with frayed denim edges. Can't. Do. It.

I'm liking the shapeless denim sack look, teamed with a big jute bag and le specs sunnies, I'm en France! Bon marche avec aix en Provence! Mon dieu!

snice · 29/03/2015 20:09

Yes I can!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2015 20:09

This WC one is v pretty but hideously expensive for a cotton dress

tethersend · 29/03/2015 20:13

Remus, I went for Esska India sandals again, this year in tan. They are unbelievably comfy.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2015 20:22

I like those, Tethers. Expensive though. I don't like spending a lot on sandals as a) I don't get an awful lot of wear out of them and b) they seem to look tatty v quickly, especially if worn on the beach.
