It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

OOTD is grey acid wash skinnies and the french connection beaded cat sweater I got from Shop a while back. haven't work it for a while but it was calling to me today

ujj I've also worn them with purple and with burgundy opaques and they looked great, in a very eclectic sort of way Grin

BrandyAlexander · 15/03/2015 13:21

Happy Mothers Day Voguettes!

Loved the MU round up. Sounds like great fun!Envy

Shop hope miniShop is okay and you're at A&E.Thanks

Fedupnagging · 15/03/2015 13:38

Really enjoyed the meet up yesterday; lovely to catch up with familiar faces and to meet Stokey and Ujjayi. It also goes without saying that those who couldn't make it were missed too.

Beautiful bride to be Blair looked radiant in cream and denim. Loved the tan boots. I didnt realise I had missed photo's - if I'd known I'd have demanded a look!

Topaz sorry we didn't get to chat really - love your gorgeous curly hair also like the shirt you picked up.

Ujjayi looked lovely all in black with a silver and black scarf. Great chat in the cab.

Queen was very giggly by the time I got there Grin and as always rocked navy. Great shopping btw and thank you for organising

Mara am very envious of your long hair and loved your blue jacket.

Stokey really rocked the dress and high tops look. Great choice for the final venue too.

Marsha looked so elegant in a simple peach jumper and jeans. Enjoyed our HOC chat.

I may or may not have a slight hangover today!

Shop'hope you ds is ok. Pasta necklaces brings back some lovely memories Smile

Dry glad you got your bracelet back.

Ellis love red RL dress.

QueenCardigan · 15/03/2015 14:01

I've just had a nap and about to start drinking again when friends come over.

I didn't do a round up as everyone else has done one but I forgot to look at maras colts.
bernice my mid shopping was a quick run to BR as they hadn't had my size in a green top that I wanted on regent St. They didn't have the top in convent garden either but I came back with the jacket and cardi.

shop hope ds is ok. I'm a bit surprised that 111 said to wait tbh but I guess they know best.

ujj I have the heeled sequin shoes and will probably wear them with rolled up jeans too come spring. I did wear with a black dress and opaques to a party though and loved them.

Wearing new navy blouse and wore the cardi when I went out earlier.

I totally forgot to say, sorry Ujj for not saying bye properly as I didn't realise you and topaz were going to get a cab and I was running off in the opposite direction! Before I knew it you were gone! :(

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 14:59

You're all making me worry now. He is weight bearing again now and only complains if he catches it (usually when sitting on his feet) so we are at the cinema x

Ujjayi · 15/03/2015 16:10

Shop when mine have had ligament injuries we were advised to continue as normal - particularly to avoid limping. I would be guided by DS so if he is comfortable I'd avoid OOHs & give nurofen. If he is still in pain tomorrow then reassess.

Blair no problem - I hadn't realised you weren't behind me until I leapt in the cab!

FedUp please let me know if I owe you some cab fare. Did you make your train?

Undecided90 · 15/03/2015 16:40

Thank you for the explanation of Colts Shop I would also leave until tomorrow unless your DS is in pain that can't be treated with nurofen. I am am of the school of thought my children need to have a limb hanging off before I will go near an A&E though Grin

Love the jacket( think it was queen)

Happy Mother's Day to you All.

Drywhiteplease · 15/03/2015 17:22

My teenagers are cooking dinner Shock......I'm not allowed in the kitchen. This is brilliant. Gave them Jamie's Ministry of food and they're getting on with it. I'll buy them each a copy when they leave home, it's a great basic cook book.

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 18:47

Thanks all. Just back from cinema. We saw Home. DS loved it, it was a slow start but improved - best bits in the trailer. Just about to give DS his bath and see how his foot feels.

LinusDKD · 15/03/2015 18:48

Evening!

Sounds like the MU was a success, I am soo Sad I couldn't make it.

shop hope your DS's sprain is not too bad. DD bumped her head twice today trying to copy her older brother. Hmm

dry sounds like your DC are really trying to pamper you with a home cooked meal. Mother's Day is not until May here,so I'll have to wait a bit longer.

I went into town on Friday and saw lots of lovely things: a pair of studded Lanvin Ballerinas, a gorgeous green Jérôme Dreyfuss (Mr. Isabel Marant I believe) crossbody bag, a lovely navy silk Brunello Cuccinelli dress and the Stella McCartney blazer I have been eyeing online for weeks.

I only tried on the blazer and I did love it but I think I'll go back with DH to see what he thinks.

LinusDKD · 15/03/2015 18:51

lanvin flats

LinusDKD · 15/03/2015 18:57

gorgeous bag in a gorgeous dark green.

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 19:22

Not sure about the Lanvin flats - I think I prefer them without studs......Hmm
Gorgeous bag!

LinusDKD · 15/03/2015 19:36

Yes, shop I have been wondering if I would get tired of the studs quickly so the hunt for the perfect black flats continues.

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 19:48

I can't link for some reason but the Lanvin metal heeled flats in black on NaP are stunning. Code 402097

LinusDKD · 15/03/2015 19:52

Those are nice and I like the patent leather ones as well.

And I still have my eye on a suede Balenciaga pair but all of them are online and I really want to see how they look on my foot. and I hate paying fp

Karbea · 15/03/2015 20:12

Evening all, and happy Mother's Day to you all. I'm so sad I couldn't get to the meet, but will try very hard next time.
I quite like the lanvin flats they look very soft.

QueenCardigan · 15/03/2015 20:19

linus love those lanvin flats

Dry yes that place we talked about. So good, she's such a talented chef. Am sitting in bed now stuffed and sipping mint tea. About to watch some more HOC which reminds me needed to gag Marsha and Fedup yesterday for their spoilers Grin.

Undecided I love the Colts but my feet were killing after walking round on them all day.

Topaz thanks for being a fab travelling companion, didn't see the time pass.

QueenC lived up to her reputation as queen of the high St, she was unstoppable! Gorgeous blue silk top that would look amazing on Blair too and great BR jacket from her mid MU dash.

Linus I love that bag. Have never been drawn to his stuff before but that is so simple and gorgeous. Btw I saw a dress yesterday that would have looked great on you for wedding guest, will find and link.

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 20:45

This is lovely

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 20:47

Meant to say I wore these last night with my leather trousers and Lib's COS sweater dress most comfortable shoes ever

Topazandpearl · 15/03/2015 21:04

Love those shoes shop and good to hear they are comfortable. Hope DS is feeling better.
Agree that is a lovely bag Linus.

Stokey · 15/03/2015 21:09

Thanks for all the lovely feedback from the meet-up. I'd forgotten the HoC spoilers Mara.

We watched Home today too Shop. Dd1 was sobbing with fear in the last 5 minutes, she keeps getting terrified in films but doesn't want to leave and always wants to go to the cinema.

I think my hangover has made me quite a grumpy mum today, not full of the joys of motherhood...

shopafrolic · 15/03/2015 21:13

Mothers Day in general is hard I find Stokey. There were loads of stressed mums at the cinema today Grin
I always have this feeling that DS will suddenly become dream child, DH will be dream man - a bit like Christmas Day Grin
We had a good time. Your poor DD, if it makes you feel better I was crying at that point too. I cry at anything since becoming a mum tho!
