It was a lovely day which flew by all too quickly. The venue was a great choice with lovely food and prosecco
Ujjayi is lovely and very easy to talk to her. I can really see her and Marsha sticking it out till the end! Casually elegant in black with a hint of silver.
QueenC was lovely in navy. She proved herself to be the shopping queen as well with her great haul. I am particularly envious of the navy jacket. It's probably just as well for her bank balance that she ran out of time!
Mara's floral print really suited her and went so well with her blue coat. Agree her hair is fantastic (if I wasn't happy with my hairdresser I'd switch to hers). We had a great chat on the train home which made the time go faster.
Fedup looked very chic, showing a way to do casual in a more classic way (white collar under black). We didn't really get to talk as she came later and I had to leave early.
Stokey was also a later arrival. She looked lovely in her burgundy and was so friendly. Both her and Ujjayi fitted right in. Anyway, through posting on the thread, we already knew each other.
Marsha was elegant (as always) in peach and lots of fun. She had some useful pointers about home interiors (which is also vogue!)
Blair looked lovely in pale yellow silk. It was lovely to hear that the wedding is all under control and that she is looking forward to it and the honeymoon. She showed pics from her fitting and her dress looks beautiful on her.
I had a bit of time for shopping beforehand and bought this shirt in blue which I think will be useful for the summer (although I am a bit gutted to see the Euro price as it was £45
). Do they normally have such a price difference?
I ran out of time and didn't get to Banana Republic, which I regretted. Don't know if I could get there any earlier! though! my alarm went off at 5.30 am as it was!
Anyway, after my longest ever post, I'll go. Enjoy Mothers' Day everyone
