It's March. Spring is in the air. We are looking forward to losing layers and baring ankles.

This is the volume of the hen do and wedding. Will queen manage to get shop to wear penis boppers Grin. And will we all shed a tear when the beautiful blair gets married.

Following on from here

Fantastic shopping Shop!
Loafery type sans socks?

libertychick · 07/03/2015 20:02

Sounds fab Linus. I love Diptyque - must start using my perfume again, keep forgetting it.

QueenC how are you feeling now? Will you return the flares? One of the things i don't miss about bootcuts was having to have them in several different lengths to accommodate different shoes. Skinnies are much simpler in that respect.

LinusDKD · 07/03/2015 20:04

DH has a pair of Tod's style driving shoes from Massimo Dutti shop. They are quite worn though so I need to convince him to part with £££ to buy the real thing. He buys expensive shoes for work but doesn't like to spend anything on casual shoes.

And he does have a couple of linen jackets for summer, I think he bought them at the Savoy Tailors Guild on The Strand in London but Massimo Dutti do decent ones as well if he doesn't want to spend too much on something he might not wear a lot afterwards.

libertychick · 07/03/2015 20:07

Something like these loafers Shop? Massimo Dutti are good for men's shoes and much more affordable than Tods.

They also have nice jackets like this linen blazer

guess whose husband is a MD fan Grin

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:07

Linus you're a star - I'll take a look. Thanks

libertychick · 07/03/2015 20:08

Cross post with Linus - our DH's obviously have similar tastes!

libertychick · 07/03/2015 20:09

2 mins late with the MD recommendation and i miss out on Flowers

LinusDKD · 07/03/2015 20:12

Lol lib! Great Minds!

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:16

Brilliant. Thanks for you too Lib Grin
Fab. So much harder for men I think.

libertychick · 07/03/2015 20:25

Happy again Smile

This might not be his type of thing at all but DH has a couple of pairs of leather flip flop type shoes that he lives in when we go on hols. Especially when worn with long trousers the toes are not that obvious and are much more comfortable in the heat then enclosed shoes. We've been in a lot of 5 star places in Asia where he has worn these for dinner etc I assume the Caribbean would be about the same in terms of how casual you can go.

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:36

I think he prefers his Birkenstocks for that Lib. He has them in brown leather and loves them.
LOVE the dresses I've bought but I think it may be that only one comes for the gala dinner and then I need something more relaxed. Still tempted by a jumpsuit...... Where do tall people buy them?

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:40

He likes these ones

Drywhiteplease · 07/03/2015 20:42

My DH wears that type....he calls them "boat shoes"? Hmm

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/03/2015 20:43

Not sure if I will be chucked off the thread for this, but what about boat/deck shoes? DP has a pair of Hudson ones that I suppose are his "smart" holiday shoes...

I'm such an idiot. I'd been meaning to check the side effects of the antibiotics I've been on for 3 weeks, but kept putting it off as I'd been on them twice before. But apparently the common ones are headache, diarrhoea, nausea and stomach pain Blush
Still thinking of going to the GP to rule out ulcer etc though, especially as the pain is usually worse after eating (though not only then).

Love the shoes/clutches/dresses shop - you're going to look amazing. The thought of your DH being persuaded by everyone in Karen Millen made me smile!

LinusDKD · 07/03/2015 20:45

I like those shop!

I know you don't need this but I can really see you in this on your holiday.

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:45

It was very sweet blair I think he quite liked it! Please go and see your GP. Explain everything that is happening and then get yourself sorted. Don't waste time. Just get better Flowers

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:49

Damn you Linus Grin Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/03/2015 20:49

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/03/2015 20:51

Thanks shop. I will, I just have one more day of working in London and I'll try to see them later in the week. Annoyingly I was there last Wed, but it was only just after I started feeling like this so I didn't mention it.

Yes to playsuits - get those legs out!!

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:51

Would these shoes work with that?

shopafrolic · 07/03/2015 20:52

Those shoes are SO YOU QueenC BUY THEM!!! And yes, I am shouting :)

LinusDKD · 07/03/2015 20:56

Gosh those raspberry shoes are gorgeous!

Gladiators are perfect with playsuits shop Wink

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 07/03/2015 20:57

Yes to both shoes!

QueenCardigan · 07/03/2015 20:59

Love that linus.
blair you poor thing. It may well be the antibiotics combined with stress. You needbsleep as she'll tell you what you need. Are you taking those drinks with the good bacteria? I think your dr can do a h pylori great test to see if you have the bacteria which frequently causes ulcers. Antibiotics can quickly sort that out.
lib I think I will return them as I haven't worn them yet because of the wet weather. But now it's dry it's also warmer and Im just desperate for bare ankles! But as I said earlier I'd love some cropped ones.
