trainers to wear with skinny jeans??

Which trainers are fasionable to wear with skinny jeans these days? I can't get on with my converse ones as they really hurt my feet.

Noooo! Don't say that Data! Though actually, I think the bottom of the sole is flatter and straighter than the ergonomic foot-moulded Ecco style.

i would get some plain black nikes instead tbh

Ash are by far the softest leather. They're a joy to wear.

I really like those black NB shoes linked on the first page of this thread. I like them because they're a bit plain.

To be honest, this thread surprises me: I want to wear trainers but I am afraid of looking stupid/American/dated. (nb: I am American.) I'm going to have a look for some comfy trainers to wear this year with my skinny jeans.

I do wear Converse All Stars and I find they aren't so great for a very long day of walking around on pavement. But I do like how they look. I'm going to pop some insoles into them, which should help with the lack of padding on the ball of my foot. It may not help with my other shoe issue of my little toes sort of banging into the tops and getting squished. It's not due to shoes being too small but rather to my feet being a bit loose and free to slide/push into the toes. Perhaps there's an insole that will help with that, as well.

I have puma classics.

I'm tempted by Reebok classics.

I've ordered the black suede pumas but am also tempted by the nike trainers, whic. is better out of Roshe Run and Air Max Thea?

What kind of insoles do people recommend for putting in Converse?

I'm going to look for plain black. I like the look of the New Balance ones, except for the big N on the side.

Addidas Bounce are my trainers of choice right now, so light and comfy- I've stolen my OH's blue pair and he's never getting them back!

love the internationalist, saw a girl on the tube with some pale grey ones and can't find them anywhere!

These Scarpa shoes are nice, if a bit pricey!! North Face have similar but the colours are not as nice.

Currently fancy the navy Stan Smiths. Bought DH a pale grey suede pair for Xmas and they are lovely - am a bit jealous of them!

I assume that you should cuff your jeans if you're wearing trainers? It's always best to check .....

Branch 309 have the suede Pumas for around £20, DD got a pair. I wear them but in high tops.
I find the soft Birkinstock 3/4 insoles best for Converse.

Spring Court is another good brand - they are really light compared to other similar styles - Superga for example I find really heavy, and wide - Toast used to sell the lo-tops, I prefer the hi-tops, have a look at places like Spartoo, Yoox, Amazon. True to size.
