Still going strong as we head into 2015. Not a chance I can beat the vol 50 intro from the lovely Dry so I won't even try. Lots of newbies have joined the fun, why don't you? Come tell us your sales splurges. All welcome for fun fashion chat.

That's exactly it Mara. It's the half stone between my clothes fitting well and suddenly being too tight. I tried 5:2 but made me very moody. I'm sticking to the more exercise and reducing sugar, white carbs and alcohol approach. Will take a few months but it will work.

I don't like the fact that VB doesnt smile. I know she doesn't like her smile but it just gives off a vibe that her life is a bit joyless which is a shame when you have a great career, lovely husband and 4 gorgeous healthy DC.

libertychick · 09/01/2015 19:23

How many tattoos do you have Amber and shop? I have 3 little flowers on my lower back the tramp stamp as my godmother calls it. Was cold stone sober when I had it done.

shopafrolic · 09/01/2015 19:28

I've got two Liberty
One Chinese emblem just above my right hip on my front, and the M sign of Scorpio above my right hip on my back.
The one on my back was my first, done at the same time as my brother had one done in Rotterdam by the tattoo artist for the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. He was brutal, went v deep and it is actually scar tissue - a bit raised, and flares up in the heat Hmm. The one on my front was done in Wales (a bit less rock star). I've been tempted to have more but DH would kill me.

OH ThE Shame....just had to run through DS school in my slippers and cleaning clothes the only time I do grunge idiot wasn't waiting outside not surprising given it's a wild hooey out there and didn't have his phone Shock will never live it down .....made it worse by screeching " where's your phone!!!!" Sad

shopafrolic · 09/01/2015 19:43

MarshaBrady · 09/01/2015 20:07

Do you mean online Shop? Or in shops

shopafrolic · 09/01/2015 20:10

I meant online.... Thanks for some reason I couldn't find it! Shame it's £££ Might have known

AmberNectarine · 09/01/2015 20:10

I have 5 - a big star, a lizard, a bird, a fish and a rose.

MarshaBrady · 09/01/2015 20:11

I know, damn expensive. Bit cheeky

QueenCardigan · 09/01/2015 20:29

marsha those jeans are the funniest thing I've ever seen Grin.
novice thank you so much for the jumper, it's perfect. syokey thank you for letting me have it.
shop great news about the leggings.

Wrt VB I think she's just got lucky. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she's worked incredibly hard and has lots of input but there's no way she's a real designer. She's got the backing of Simon fuller and Roland mouret and has heaps of money to throw at the business which most new designers don't.

santamarianovella · 09/01/2015 21:07

That's a lovely sweater shop

I've always wanted a tattoo, but didnt have the courage to get one, but had my belly button pierced (that's my only wild thing) ,and was sober when i had it, one of my friends encouraged me to have one as she was planing on getting one on her birthday, so we both did it, I really liked it. when dh and I were dating, and he finally got a reveal, he kept staring at my piercing for a long time, he kept saying, 'I can't believe it' over and over while grinning like a Cheshire Cat, had it removed when I got pregnant,

I really want to see the lizard tattoo amber,

I agree, with queen, Victoria is no designer, I never find her style appealing,

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/01/2015 21:24

I only got a tattoo when i lost a lot of weight and that started my collection. Had my lip pierced at one point but it never healed correctly and you cant tell now (that was my rebellious 35 year)

MarshaBrady · 09/01/2015 21:38

I'm so unadorned with neither tattoos nor piercings, not even ears. But then I barely do jewellery, just a watch and rings so it probably makes sense in some way.

Have put on the Hush pjs. Oh my it's nice to have new, fresh ones.

Drywhiteplease · 09/01/2015 21:45

I've deleted the Pinterest app on my iPad, now I can link from Pinterest again.....hurrah look . Am going to a surprise party tomorrow almost killed me not spilling the beans and am going to get Bella out, how I adore that dress vest wearability

muddlingalongquitenicely · 09/01/2015 21:47

Love the colours and style of the dress dry

santamarianovella · 09/01/2015 21:48

shop I read that you had your tattoos with the red hot chilli peppers, I though to myself, wow! shop had an amazing past Grin, then I reread it again Sad ouch!

I'm looking forward , to tomorrow lib, we need live updates,

karbea, I didn't know that about watercress, I've seen some very discreet Botox, where there is still movement, I have a relative whose in her late 50s and looks very fresh, get them every 6 months with fillers , no shiny frozen forehead, I keep telling her , when the time comes for me to do fillers or any work I'm totally getting it done by her guy, he is really good, but she tells me that its genes, and she only have very little done amount done, Hmm,

marsha nothing like nice pjs,

Fedupnagging · 09/01/2015 21:52

No tattoos here either but ds1 has loads. I am fascinated by tattoos though and love watching Miami/New York ink etc.

Mara I love the DVF collection you linked for us all yesterday and my dress is perfect.

Dry I chuckled at your list of 'won't do' fashion as it's pretty much identical to mine!

Shop I love the mih Breton you linked but it is a bit on the £££ side. I bought a similar one from phase eight about 2yrs ago but it is looking a bit shapeless and tatty so should probably bin it.

Good luck to Blair and Lib for your style days tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing all about it - sounds exhausting though.

Drywhiteplease · 09/01/2015 21:53

not black and white but nice nevertheless

Karbea · 09/01/2015 22:00

I've only got my ears pierced, I did want a ring of daisies around my belly button when I was a cool youngster going to festivals etc, but I was too scaredy cat.
I might go to bed, I'm going to try and get up and do park run tomorrow, probably won't get up

libertychick · 09/01/2015 22:01

Tattoo collection Muddling - how many so far????
Shop Shock at the first tattooist you saw, that's terrible. I spent months researching who would do mine and cross examined him before I let him do it!

Right so more me, me, me and my style analysis... I have packed a bag for tomorrow. Here are the items I am bringing that I love wearing:

My beloved heart print shirt
American Vintage dress
[[http://www.pinterest.com/pin/321937073332752495/ H&M A-Line grey skirt
[[http://www.pinterest.com/pin/321937073335406303/ Mango jacket

And these are the items I can't seem to make work for me

Whistles stripe jumper, really don't understand why this doesn't work but I have never worn it

I do wear this a fair bit and get compliments on it but for some reason I never feel entirely happy in it

Top half of this is good shape for me but something is not right about the waist, I always feel a bit frumpy in it

Do you think that's a decent enough selection to go on?

libertychick · 09/01/2015 22:06

Sigh - what a mess I made of those links...

Mango jacket - this is one of my 'love it' items

The not so good item:
Whistles jumper

Karbea · 09/01/2015 22:09

Do you think you need trousers?

You seem to be more comfortable in more fitted clothes.

shopafrolic · 09/01/2015 22:16

Begs - can I grab the Whistles jumper if it ends up not being a keeper? Right up my street
