OneLittleLady · 23/12/2014 15:56

Fedupnagging · 23/12/2014 16:08

Novice, glad you finish work today for a while - your schedule sounds manic. Hope, you feel better soon too. More importantly, your dress down outfit sounds great.

Blair hope you enjoy your day despite not feeling great. I love 'sayyes to the dress' but not seen it in ages. Looking forward to the wedding plans hotting up soon.

Liberty am liking the sound of your day - suprised that London isn't very busy though.

One glad you are a bit brighter today.

Santa hope you are ok too.

Thanks for your hugs and concern - much appreciated.

MarshaBrady · 23/12/2014 16:53

Fedup I hope you are ok Thanks

My dc have both been unwell for a few days, we fly tomorrow so I hope they perk up. They take turns in improving now ds2 is feeling worse and sleeping a lot again.

My Sorel boots have been delayed, have requested pre-9.00am delivery, they are two days late. Hope they make it.

MarshaBrady · 23/12/2014 16:55

Christmas Day. Not sure, taking a Sandro dress as it may be the only day dress I have, and some Wolfords. No idea which shoes. Not sure I want to go the whole Rossi vibe. Beside I fear for the suede + champers + food.

MarshaBrady · 23/12/2014 17:31

Dry that is funny, but how annoying too.

Liberty you have sales chicken nerves of steel.

Santa Thanks thinking of you too.

shopafrolic · 23/12/2014 17:54

Dry rubbish - we have a friend who we stay with who has a cockerel that starts at 3am - I HATE staying there.
Marsha fingers crossed DCs improve quickly
Hugs for all that need them on the run up to Xmas
I'm not sure what to wear on Thursday as it is just the three of us. Maybe Joseph leathers and J Crew run cable knit? On Christmas Eve I'm going to wear Helmut Lang leathers, J Crew embellished sweatshirt and black heels.
QueenC I knew the shoe bug would hit you eventually Xmas Grin

Karbea · 23/12/2014 18:59

Evening all!
I've had an absolutely exhausting day at work, glad to be home, although I need to be back in at 6 or earlier :(

Has anyone ordered anything from the NAP sale?

libertychick · 23/12/2014 19:36

On way home from day out. V tired DD with me. Fingers crossed this means a sleep in tomorrow. Just 3 of us for Xmas day too so thinking I'll wear Me & Em ruched navy skirt, boden breton, long pale grey Jigsaw cardi, opaques and slippers. Comfy but a step up from trackpants!

I feel OK playing sales chicken Marsha because I don't really need the bag and if goes there will always be another one Smile. Hope your DC's are well for the flight.

libertychick · 23/12/2014 19:39

I didn't order anything from NaP karbea. As usual the site just wasn't working so I couldn't even have a browse.

Well done on shoes QueenC Smile

Karbea · 23/12/2014 19:45

liberty the site is working for me but it's so hard to search for anything! I can't work out how to search by size for example :/

MarshaBrady · 23/12/2014 20:06

Shop 3am! So early. Are your friends immune to it?

Liberty good way to be.

Karbea that's tough, hope you get a rest soon.

QueenC good decision, I saw a pin with sparkly shoes and rolled up skinnies and it looked great, like yours.

I was in Liberty today and didn't buy anything. I wanted to but might wait for further reductions.

Karbea · 23/12/2014 20:16

marsha it is! but only working 6-9 tomorrow, after the new year I'll be back to working 13hrs a week and intend to give myself a total body overhaul! So lots of rest in the near future.

Fedupnagging · 23/12/2014 20:41

Dry your post did make me laugh although I wouldn't be too amused if I were in your room!

Karbea that is seriously early

Will be wearing casual and comfortable on Christmas Day as it's just us. Tomorrow think I will wear my blue ghost dress with navy heeled boots. Boxing Day will probably wear silvery ankle skimmers, black top and heels (boden, Zara & sam edelman respectively).

Marsha have a safe journey tomorrow, hope your dc's are better.

shopafrolic · 23/12/2014 20:46

Karbea sizes are down the left hand side of the page near the bottom. Click on your size to filter. I couldn't see anything I wanted which is a good thing
marsha their room is at the front of the house, guest room at back nearest the coop - I don't think they hear Hmm

QueenCardigan · 23/12/2014 21:06

Grin at dry. Donkeys are quite sweet though.

I'm not sure what to wear on Christmas day yet. As we see friends for fizz I need to make an effort but may change into sweatpants after Grin.

MarshaBrady · 23/12/2014 21:21

Oh man I've lost some presents. Two. Including for my brother and his dp. Argh! I may have thrown them out as we threw so much stuff out when the floors were done. Pretty much turned the place inside out. Dammit! £50 of pressies gone.

Shop the roosters - is that the same thing? - wake us at 5am when I go home to Aus. But they are sort of comforting and I'm usually jet lagged. Plus while I think of all that sort of thing, I am nostalgic for the sound of plovers, random. But anyway 3am no way.

OneLittleLady · 23/12/2014 21:36

I'd hate to be woken by a rooster, i am deathly afraid of chickens and roosters Xmas Sad strangely though, i once heard a cow in the early hours out the back of my flat Xmas Hmm

last minute list writing going on, dividing up tasks so we can divide and conquer tomorrow. must also go to the cemetery Xmas Sad

BrandyAlexander · 24/12/2014 07:46

Morning everyone! Safe journey Marsha! Have you found the presents or are they definitely gone? Poor you.Sad

Hope the donkeys didn't wake you up this morning Dry! I may have laughed a lot at your post

We have a final stint of present wrapping this morning then deliver cards and presents to neighbours before properly relaxing this afternoon. We might have to run into town because I think I forgot to get one of my bils a present. We aren't due to see them till next week as dsis going to in laws but they could drop by on the way!Blush

We aren't cooking this year so thankfully no food stress. Phew! Happy Christmas Eve everyoneSmile

QueenCardigan · 24/12/2014 08:30

One more sleep....

I'm looking decidedly unglamorous but have decided to get cooking and housework out of the way before showering. Looking forward to dp arriving later and a chilled out few days.

My thoughts are already turning to reviewing my purchases this year (Ive kept a pin board of everything) and new year style resolutions. Anyone have any? So far mine are too..
-not buy any more lipsticks (except replacements)
-not buy anymore nail polish (except replacements)
-wear my heels that lurk in my cupboard more
-buy more shoes!

I give myself till March when I will cave and buy yet another pink lipstick Xmas Grin.

santamarianovella · 24/12/2014 08:45

Morning,
dry, that really made me laugh, sorry,
Marsha safe trip!

My NYE S&B reslutions:

No cooking for me today, or tomorrow , Smile

Drywhiteplease · 24/12/2014 09:20

Have found wifi spot.....quick!!!!

NY resolutions are to carry on the considered, quality purchasing. Worked reasonably well last year. Saving for stuff I'll really love.

Happy Christmas Eve all Smile

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 24/12/2014 10:27

my only resolution is not fashion related, its to be a better friend,a better sister, just a better person.all i do is whinge and moan and bring others down and i need to stop it.no one needs to hear my woes and troubles all the time so i am set on being a better, kinder, more thoughtful and brighter person

bettykt · 24/12/2014 10:51

Safe travels Marsha hope you managed to find your missing presents.

My style NY resolutions are along the same lines as yours Dry Quality over quantity, I want less clothes but I want them to work hard for me. Getting good CPW from them. I need want a black cross body bag and am thinking about getting a BV or a Chloe Marcie and I want to still be using it in years to come.
