Morning!
I loved reading all your MU posts, and really was in awe of mara walking home in the rain! , fingers Crossed I make the next one, but I'm of a very delicate constitution, and alcohol and me are not the best of friends, Wink, just had one glass , when I was out with dh on Saturday, and felt really buzzed,

dry, I agree with everyone else, the hermes bracelet is timeless , it's so worth saving for it,

betty, I've always wanted a le creuset set,but my mom convinced me that staub is miles better, and she is right, very happy with what I have.

Raining here, wearing Bruno cream dress, lanvin black boots, and my new chanel coat,it's so soft, don't want to ever take it off,

Ohh, last night ,I had a really weird dream about jamie dornan , linus was in it too Hmm, it wasn't a threesome, but very strange,

Santa* it would be brilliant if you could make it!

Novice yes it was a small part of all that jewel stuff they did a few years ago.

Ha ha Novice. My memory saves my ass career wise all the time! I can remember costs/statistics/what people said at meetings 3 years ago to the extent that I freak people out. The dress is a 'Connected Apparel' one from TKMaxx - I think it's one of those 'labels' they have invented. I forgot to pin it when I bought it. It cost the grand price of £24.99.

I spotted your dress as MK as I have wanted that one for a while - I'd like it in cobalt I think.

santa I laughed out loud when I read your post! I am very flattered I appeared in your dream but if I ever dream about you and Jamie Dornan you'll get kicked out of my dream so that Jamie is all mine! Wink

Ladies,
Just delurking to let you know TK MAXX has several pairs of JBrand jeans online, mostly their basic skinnies. I tend to find they runs little large.
I'll run back into the shadows now..
Keep up the good work! Smile

MU sounded great fun, impressive work on the late night, I hope to make the next one (although lack designer clothes!).

I also arrived home at 3 after drinking far too many champagne cocktails and struggled big time yesterday - in fact could have done with a onesie....

Dry I ordered Rosie dress from Hush in XS & S and the S was massive - I'm also 8-10.

H&M have a reasonable selection of Christmas jumpers - i quite like this reindeer. There was also a cool black sequined pnather which I can't find online.

Thank you Theweek come back and join us.

Well operation pleather skirt started today, I bought it a while back but can't do it up Blush too many pies! One spin class down, many more to go Grin

Santa your dream made me laugh, off to google Staub.

Stokey no need to wear designer - would be lovely to meet you. So gutted I didn't get to meet Betty and finally see Amber :(
I have just had to watch the second episode of the Fall this morning instead of doing housework. Very clever. Makes you feel very strange, super uncomfortable. Beautifully shot too. Looking forward to seeing more.

MarshaBrady · 24/11/2014 11:43

I might watch that Shop we're out of things to watch now. Will get on to it.

Stokey definitely don't be put off by designer,

I felt a bit ott and not exactly what I wanted to wear, but have a serious gap in the wardrobe which consists of 95% skinnies, jumpers and coats.

Report
libertychick · 24/11/2014 11:43

Yes Stokey definitely no need for designer clothes. I was in the bargain TKMaxx dress and Hobbs heels - no one ran away screaming with horror!

Santa omg Jamie Dornan, surprised I didn't dream about him after that bit where he takes off his trousers and you see his muscle definition Blush. Lol at Linus wanting him to herself in future dream!

Staub cast iron ware is amazing, we have quite a bit of it including a huge pot that only just fits in the oven. I can't lift it when full, dh is in charge of it as he insisted we needed the enormous one.

Stokey don't be put off coming by the labels. We were all dressed up in our party clothes for this Christmassy one but last time I came in my topshop jeans and a t shirt. We'd love to meet you at the next one but glad that you enjoyed your weekend celebrations.

Novice sorry for outing your bling slip up Grin. Was just so funny to see the nonchalance with which you raised an already well decked-out wrist and remarked that there should be more sparkle there!

Betty how on earth did I miss both triplets and scarf???

Theweek tks for info. Not spending on myself at the moment but will be back in my beloved tk in the next few days so will take a look.

Dry so excited that you're going for it with the bracelet. My dsis saved for a click clack one last year and we went to the store together to choose it, a lovely day out which I think about every time I see her wearing it. You don't get that from Internet shopping.

DM still uses her Le Creuset pots that were on her wedding list 40 years ago so I also bought one of their casseroles and I love it.

I also bought some anti-stick frying pans from them but I'm not very happy as the teflon coating is starting to peel away at the edges.

But maybe I need to have a look at Staub seeing as mara and santa are recommending it.

Report
MarshaBrady · 24/11/2014 13:42

Linus so does my dm, and I love mine. They were wedding gifts.

Betty I can;t believe I missed that beautiful scarf! And I was sitting next to you

Report
bettykt · 24/11/2014 13:51

I was wearing the scarf when I bumped into Liberty and QueenC outside the first venue. I took it off and tied it around my bag, was paranoid about losing it, so it spent the rest of the evening tied round my bag.

Stokey I was wearing every designer item I own on MU, i.e. 2!

Liberty I really liked your dress, lovely colours and pattern, really suited you.

Sleep what perfume were you wearing? You smelt lovely.

Report
Stokey · 24/11/2014 14:40

Phew - makes me feel better and I do own a couple of DVF dresses that could cope with a posh night out!

I love the Le creuset stuff but it's so heavy - I struggle to move the casserole dish once it's got food in

Triplets Betty... gosh.

Stokey I'll be back in half price tshirt next time - comfort zone. You should definitely come!

Report
OneLittleLady · 24/11/2014 15:47

stokey I don't have designer either and it really doesn't matter, no ones sniffy or anything, you really should come Smile

Today has been tough, almost passed out in my lesson so had to go and sit outside in the cold air to bring me round, I pushed through and managed the whole morning Smile also, i looked totally cute in a little tartan skirt in purples and greys, black tights, black vest and silver cardigan with my little black lace up shoes

Report
QueenCardigan · 24/11/2014 16:10

stokey I don't own anything designer. I was in a monsoon dress and m&s shoes. Coat from gap and scarf from accessorize, hence telling marsha that this is what the high at smells like Hmm Grin. Maybe I should stay sober at the next one!!

So, potential dates are 14 or 21 March. Any happy to organise although will need the input of Londoners for the venue...

I lost you all!! Just had a very quick fly through the thread. I agree with Amber Dry, get the thing you really want, imitations very rarely cut it.

My necklace was this one Lib I may have broken a few inches off the end accidentally but you cant tell Blush

Perfume is Molecules 01 and Coco Noir Betty Flowers

Please don't give me a onesie Queen!

Just an observation - am I right in saying that there was quite a lot of DVF on Saturday/owned between us? Interesting...

OneLittleLady · 24/11/2014 16:28

QueenC 14th of march would be better for me as 21st is very close to the date I fly so I will be pretty busy but if it's the date best for everyone else, I will just have to miss this one Smile

Stokey the only designer stuff I have are accessories if they count.
First MU....Mint Velvet skinny jeans, Boden jumper, Oasis biker jacket, Paul Smith scarf, Smythson bag. Second Oasis pence I skirt, Zara jumper, Next shoes, Oasis biker....Gucci bag.

Right, off to see James Blunt tonight on a MondayShock . Free tickets. Saw him once before, zero charisma, bit boring despite his wonderful accent. Still free bubbles, I'll cope Grin

Black suede heeled Guess shoe boots that a lot of you have admired, black Skinnies, black swingy, boxy knit needs replacing Shop's fab animal print scarf edged with red, Massimo Dutti camel coat incredible CPW and My darling Disco. Red lips I think.

I know what you're all thinking......."you're beautiful "........ Grin

Beautiful necklace sleep,

Love your outfit one ,

linus You are greedy! The funny thing is, when jaime talked to me, he sounded like a guy I used to go out with who was Irish too, I have no idea how my mind made that connection!

If you are looking for good fry pans,I recommend the mauviel ones. I have one copper and a couple of the aluminium and steel ones . amazing. my mum made me buy them from here, she believes that the ones in Uk are not the 2.5mm heritage ones Hmm, although I've assured her that selfridges stocks the genuine ones, still wasn't convinced, didn't have fun carrying that box all around gare du nord,

Betty I always wanted this one, have been watching amazon Black Friday deals for it!

Dry outfit sounds perfect - love that you love the scarves x
I'm sure I'll be free in March so will go with the majority. I will be in London well before then though if anyone fancies a mini MU?
Lovely necklace Sleep - I may be addicted to the Fall already and I'm only 2 episodes in!
Santa loving the dreams. I dream about Linus too - must be a MNV thing Hmm
