Hmmmm Blair that's a tricky one. Is it pulling over the bustline? If so iI'd say it's too tight, but you'd be able to tell across the back too.
If you lift the dress at the shoulders does the gaping go? Then it'll be the cut I think.
QueenC not a clue! but I did buy DH a small digital cube alarm clock from JL that I wouldn't recommend.

Think I'm slightly in love with James Blunt. He wasn't boring, nor lacked charisma. Infact when he started singing I welled up....great voice. Surprisingly good night. But really tired.....late night.

Frosty again....love it.

Sleep, yes it had peanut butter on it...yum!Grin Don't worry will get a decent meal tonight as have dinner out. It's a miracle I am not as big as a house with all these dinnersHmm

I am back to black today too. Wearing mouret by banana republic black dress. I haven't got round to changing my jewelry from Saturday night so still wearing the gold bangle watch, gold and crystal stacking rings and the cuff with rubies in it. Minus the almost lost bracelet as i am a bit spooked by almost loosing it! (Thank god for Mara Thanks as that's a gemstone and gold bracelet that has little diamond "screws" in the links. Dh had it made for me so not exactly easily replaceable).

I also have my Proenza Schouler salmon ps13, cashmere coat and RB suede shoe boots. Except I have just heard it's going to rain.Sad My poor boots!

QueenC, I bought dh an alarm clock with an iPod docking station for dh a few years ago. Will check out the make of it for you when I get home tonight. X

Also I want a Christmas jumper. I told this to dh a few days ago. He looked utterly horrified. Then did this faceHmmbecause I was moaning they don't appear to do the really tacky ones (what I want!) in cashmere or wool.Grin I won't be put off though!

Blair I get gaping at the V of dresses quite a bit. I think it's because it's too big on the shoulders rather than small on the bust. I spent ages in DvF trying to figure it out with a wrap dress, we kept going down sizes but even the 0s still gaped at the top (though were tight round my hips). Just resigned myself to wearing a cami underneath.

I quite like this Boden Christmas jumper Novice in Merino wool.

Have you read James Blunt on Twitter Dry? My respect for him went up massively after I saw his comebacks, very witty.

novice you need to find someone to knit you one or else buy a plain cashmere jumper and get customising with lots of ribbons and sequins!

Morning,

Linus and Novice sounds like you're both looking good in back to black.

Dry glad you enjoyed Blunters. Like Lib I have been chuckling at his twitter feed, respect!

Am wearing indigo Leigh jeans with armor lux breton and big warm shawl. 4 degrees here this am. Forgot my hair straightner in London so embracing the wavy look out of necessity.

QueenC will put 14 march in the diary. Too far ahead to be sure but very much hope to make it.

Blair if you're still not sure why dress is gaping after advice here maybe you could take to a local dressmaker/alterations service to be sure they can adjust while you're still in returns window? Not sure if you can order in bigger size if necessary.

been to the doctors, as suspected I do have a chest infection and apparently a pretty bad one at that. Weeks worth of antibiotics and eight steroids a day for a week plus have to take four times my normal amount of inhalers for two weeks with instructions to go back after that if it has still not shifted. I knew it, I absolutely knew it!!

Stokey those James Blunt comments were hilarious, who knew?

Dry glad you had a great time last night

Novice those stacking rings are gorgeous, the colours looked great on you.

Tried to buy some basics from Uniqlo but as I was gaffing the main thing I wanted to buy went oos, couldn't be bothered paying p&p for the rest of the items. Although I didn't mind paying p&p for £10 Gap hoodies for dc.

Just been chortling at James blunt's comments. Glad you had a good time Dry.

So MU is definitely 14th March? I can make that.

Some nice Xmas jumpers linked especially the boden one. Am guessing you all didn't like my tacky Xmas jumper links the other day? //grin.

No fashion news whatsoever although may manage a quick rummage in TK Maxx tomorrow when out Christmas shopping.

Blair no idea what the reason is for a gaping v neck - try a different bra or maybe the cut isn't great in the first place.

Stokey they have made me rather love him a even more. He took the mickey out of himself a lot...for being pish, short, singing miserable songs. Good guy.

I AM SO stiff. After 3 years goingbtomthevgym you'd have thought it would stop. New instructor on Sunday made me use heavier weights, everything hurts.....I have pulled muscles in places I didn't know I had muscles. Getting on a spinning bike today was tough......BUT wearing stilletoes last night was fine Grin

Novice I don't know how you stay so tiny either....you do seem to use up a lot of energy though. Still laughing at you nearly mislay ing your bling at MU.

Fedup I bought a very cheap! acrylic Xmas jumper v unflattering and sweaty because I only wear it once a year.

Is pish a cross between posh and pissed dry? Wink

Poor one I hope the meds kick in soon as you have been feeling miserable for so long.

Yay, I have bought all my Christmas presents! Now all I have to do is remind DH on a daily basis that he still needs to buy the ones he agreed to buy.

stokey I had tears in my eyes when I read those J. Blunt retorts. I have seen some interviews whith him and he always comes across as very funny and down to earth.

Haha I had seen that James Blunt link before. he was on Alan Carr on Friday and they talked about it then, v funny.

Dry Stokey and Mara thanks for thoughts re dress... it's SIL's potential bridesmaid dress, my sister is going to take hers to a tailor as they all need altering and it's easiest for her to go and find out what can be done. SIL says it's not straining over the bust, so hopefully it can be altered, I will also make her try it without a bra in case that's not helping.

One that sounds rubbish and so does the amount of meds. I really hope it all kicks in quickly Flowers
