I'll keep my eyes peeled Shop for smooth leather leggings. Shock at the Santa - did you complain?

Novice I am always here keeping spreadsheet updated Grin Gucci, oh really

Spent the day in various beach bars / cafes wearing this American Vintage dress and Oscar de la Renta sunnies (another TKMaxx find) and M&S sandals. 22 degrees, bit of a breeze. DD had a ball playing with a little German boy, running in and out of the sea. Took about 20 mins in the shower this evening to get all the sand out of her hair. Love the way children can get on so well without being able to understand a word the other is saying!

Morning on a train to Manchester for some excitement, or work rather, it's actually very nice to sit on a warm train and look at Vogue.

Lib holiday sounds lovely.

I dreamt about vogue with you all in it, so funny. We were at the races.

DryWhiteplease · 08/12/2014 08:02

Stokey · 08/12/2014 08:56

Morning all - my phone's still broken, I feel like I've lost a limb so a new one is on order.

I went out for dinner on Saturday night at the St Pancras hotel, it's been beutifully done. If anyone is looking for somewhere to stay for a night in London, it would be fantastic. I was wearing a pink and silver glittery mini skater skirt, knee high boots and a dark green silk top. Loads of faux fur and Christmas jumpers on the tube on the way home.

I was meant to be going to the Tate with a friend today but DD1 has a temperture so am sitting on the sofa with her watching The Princess Bride instead, manage to persuade her away from a Barbie movie.

We also got our Christmas tree yesterday, made sure we got a tall skinny one this year and had a lovely time decorating it.

MarshaBrady · 08/12/2014 09:01

Shop of course! Will think of you while I wander the streets at lunch time.

Stokey hope your dd feels better.

shopafrolic · 08/12/2014 11:16

If one more person comments on my red lipstick this morning I think I am going to punch someone. No I do not feel Christmassy, yes it is red isn't it. Why is it so different? This morning, the only make up I put on was a coat of mascara and red lipstick. I probably spent less time getting ready than half the mums at the school gate! Grrrrr.

OneLittleLady · 08/12/2014 11:27

QueenCardigan · 08/12/2014 11:34

Hello gorgeous ladies. I had an absolutely fantastic weekend- lots of food, lots of booze and even some shopping. Seriously, one of our best weekends away ever Smile.

QueenCardigan · 08/12/2014 11:37

I couldn't find any jewellery that I like except for a little purple leather bracelet so dh bought this little beauty for me. He's making me wait till Christmas though despite it being an anniversary present. I also got an ice blue cashmere scarf. I seriously could have spent a fortune on cashmere and lambswool scarves-so many to choose from.

libertychick · 08/12/2014 12:05

They are jealous Shop Smile

Well done One, 2.5 more years to go, lots of time to work on marks and improve them. It's tough getting back into the flow of exams as a mature student.

Good to hear you had such a lovely time QueenC despite the beard Wink. That bag is really beautiful, very classy. Scarf sounds gorgeous too.

shopafrolic · 08/12/2014 12:25

That's lovely QueenC - welcome back. Glad you had a perfect time.
One you passed! That's all that matters - well done you

BrandyAlexander · 08/12/2014 12:26

bettykt · 08/12/2014 12:41

QueenC good choice of handbag Wink glad you had a fantastic time

One well done on passing your exam

Shop I sometimes wear red lipstick on the school run, it turns me from looking like death warmed up into a human being, stick with it and ignore the comments.

Novice ouch!

Wfh, got a really busy few weeks coming up, this arrived today JCrew Schoolboy Blazer haven't tried it on yet, I want to wear it casually with jeans and a shirt. Some Uniqlo basics have arrived too this is nice and slouchy for wearing around the house, in fact I'm wearing it now unfortunately this shirt isn't crisp enough I can tell already from the packaging.

Sleepwhenidie · 08/12/2014 13:12

Hi all I am running round like a bloody idiot trying to get a last minute Cinderella ball dress and shoes for dd, she has her school play this week, dress rehearsal is tomorrow. The £20 dress and £11 shoes I ordered online were meant to arrive last Tuesday but haven't materialised. Bloody Royal Mail... Did you know that they have no obligation to deliver anything, in any time frame during December, no matter what postage you pay for? DSIL sent something to me next day signed for last Monday and it arrived on Saturday Shock. So I have spent £46 and £20 in Monsoon in Hampstead this morning, straight to school but shoes too big, dress too small. Now on bus to Regent St shop where they have what should be the right sizes Hmm. Of course DD is besotted with the online dress too so no doubt we will have to keep that too! Still in gym kit as I laughably thought I might get to the gym at some point. Also have had a rotten cold all weekend. Rant over!

Sleepwhenidie · 08/12/2014 13:14

Well done One, don't be disappointed, as Lib says, plenty of time to improve your marks. If be terrified to start doing assignments etc again now!

MarshaBrady · 08/12/2014 15:56

Dry is it you birthday today or am I losing the plot?!
