Santa fabulous Marni skirt. Love it. Would have been so great if you had approached Sleep but it would feel strange approaching a stranger and potentially v embarrassing.

Whattowearnow I burst out laughing at your 3 lost days in TKMaxx – apologies if my enthusing about it has resulted in you wasting your time. I lose a lot of time in there too, I have to limit myself Smile. Welcome back! And I am planning to grow my hair again to at least shoulder length.

New hair sounds great Shop and Novice glad to hear your party went well. I assume you got caterers in the end then?

A chaise longue is so you Dry Smile

On hols, so far, so good but was an early start so shattered now.

Awks · 06/12/2014 21:53

You'll NEVER recline on it you know. Never. Though draping nice things over it will occupy you beautifully, am sure and it will look gorgeous.

Linus Grin lets have a botox party

libertychick · 06/12/2014 21:53

Slight over use of 'so' going on there....

shopafrolic · 06/12/2014 22:02

Waves to Lib have a fab break
dry we have a chaise in our living room, I recline on it to read a good book. Enjoy xx

DryWhiteplease · 06/12/2014 22:07

Awks you're so right. It is frivolous.will look lovely, but will basically just fill a space....I did wonder if there were better things to spend my money on, but I've always wanted one.
liberty would like to commission a portrait of yours truly reclining and wearing a full length flowing Chanel wvening gown, pearls all over the place, holding a champagne glass.....ostentatious moi? Wink

Grin at Dry. That would be fab - where would you display it? Although I'm thinking it could be particularly classy as a fresco on the ceiling above the bed...I'm sure your DH would love it...

LinusDKD · 06/12/2014 22:13

Like this dry?

DryWhiteplease · 06/12/2014 22:17

Disaster has struck! I have two weeks of access to the macs to do my compositions and one of the ones I had almost finished....IS MISSING FROM MY HARD DRIVE!!! I now have to work like crazy to come up with something new in its place Xmas Sad Xmas Sad

bettykt · 07/12/2014 00:37

Loving the draping talk, enjoy the chaise long Dry

Linus'I love how you've set off a trend for Passoa.

Finally finished watching Breaking Bad took almost a year what to watch next?

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 08:12

As you all know, I love the crisp packet bags (esp the blue) so was admiring the colour of this beauty, then saw the price Xmas Shock.

Oh well, dream on......

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 08:22

Like this, love the colour.

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 08:24

And this

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 08:33

rhubarb and custard anyone?

Love this for its simplicity.

AmberNectarine · 07/12/2014 08:39

I'm seriously considering botox as a birthday present to myself. DH is wanging on about how he loves my expressive face, blah, blah, blah.

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 08:40

Bettykt we recently finished watching House of Cards and really enjoyed it. Have now started watching Mad Men but dh not so keen.

Dry I now have an image of you draped ever so ladylike over your chaise longue holding court Xmas Grin. I've always wanted one too for book reading purposes so am a weeny bit Xmas Envy

bettykt · 07/12/2014 08:50

Fedup loved the second bag you pinned, style and colour, the first one, wow at the price, I had to do a double take. Have the last series of Mad Men still to watch then I think I'll give House of Cards a go. Thanks for the recommendation.

Amber you so don't need Botox you are young and have lovely smooth skin. I'm a bit like Linus in that I'd like my 11s done but not sure I could go through with it.

Novice are you still looking for a Christmas jumper? John Smedley have some very subtle tasteful ones. Can't link as I'm on IPad and since updating to IOS8 it's a pile of slow, unresponsive pile of poo and should relegated to the bin. Arghhhh sorry Apple rant over.

santamarianovella · 07/12/2014 08:55

fedup, I read that as only £60! I thought sales were on,and was about to get my CC to purchase! Grin,

I love fringes, had one once ,it was a very bad idea, I have hair that tends to frizz a lot ,not a pretty picture! ,started to wear headbands to disguise it!

Saw loads of Botox yesterday, some look good ,but the majority really looks scary, not the expressionless faces, but the forehead just looks swollen, and the skin is very thin, I don't know how to explain it, but I don't think I will ever do it, maybe I will just do peels when I'm in my 40s and then get a facelift when I'm in my 50s Grin .

santamarianovella · 07/12/2014 09:08

Oh,yes house of cards is amazing, we can't think of something to fill that gap now.

fedup I liked madmen till season 4,'then I lost interest, dh never liked it and didn't watch past the second episode of season 1,

Fedupnagging · 07/12/2014 09:28

Santa I would have bought one in every colour if they were £60!

Dh and I are going away for a night later. Am busy compiling my shopping list as hoping to have a couple of hours tomorrow mooching around the shops. Also trying to decide what clothes to take - dh says one pair of jeans to do 2 days and 2 tops, simples!

OneLittleLady · 07/12/2014 10:39

You know, I don't think I've seen anyone in RL with botox, if I have, it's been good and I haven't known about it. I don't think I'd consider having it, I have been very very lucky so far and don't really have any lines or anything so maybe I'll change my mind if they start coming thick and fast!

BrandyAlexander · 07/12/2014 10:59

Man alive....the cost of that bag!!!Shock

Oh Betty don't start me on Christmas jumpers!!! I got a Next jumper that I liked in a size 6. It was a bit big so asked my hk to see if they had a size 6 petite but if they didn't I would keep the size 6 regular. Unfortunately when they didn't have the 6P, she just returned it.Hmm We have an annual get together, which I hosted yesterday, and we always wear a Christmas jumper. As chic as I looked in my Alexander Wang, it wasn't quite the point.Hmm

Last night was lovely, after our friends left, I restored the house back to normal. (V anal can't sit down if my house is a messBlush). It took me about 2 hours but I put out loads of Christmas candles and the house smelled divine. With Christmas music softly playing in the background and a glass of red, it was ace.

Linus, ahem as Lib is away I will 'fess up to getting a Gucci bag. Lib somehow worked out that I bought things I hadn't linked. In my defence, I had actually forgotten about them!Blush

WhattoWearNow · 07/12/2014 11:31

Thanks again for all your hair encouragement - am definitely going to grow in 2015! I wonder where Claudia gets her hair done - it is v nice but I wonder how high maintenance it is. I would love a fringe but I have a v strong cowlick so it's impossible really. I think botox could be on the cards for 2015 too! So many mums on the school run have it I think. It does make your face less expressive but then it is less wrinkled so it depends which bothers you more. Once you start I think it can get quite costly to maintain & what happens when you have a smooth forehead, but a wrinkly neck, hands etc. It's a minefield! Amber - you so don't need botox at 30!
Lib - the lost 3 days were my totally my making! What if I miss an amazing item that will change my life hee hee! I am pleased with my boots but think I need to impose a time limit next time as I think if you are going to find something, it tends to be in the first 20 minutes.
Off to see Paddington later - hope it's good for adults as well as kids...

AmberNectarine · 07/12/2014 11:31

Have just ordered a black latex pencil skirt. Have vague ideas of wearing it with white shirt and killer heels but if it looks ridiculous I can just confine it to bedroom only attire I suppose.
