QueenC I'd love to go on and do a masters but one thing at a time!

I think it's now time I break out my two sequin skirts! I think the time of year is right, don't you? Same skirt in two colours, one black sequins the other a sort of blush, just below knee length flarey ones. thinking of pairing with a plain sweater or cardigan as anything too fussy on top will make me look like a bauble!

DryWhiteplease · 03/12/2014 21:06

Nice jumper liberty have just ordered a couple of their merino wool plain jumpers for work. Like the quality and easy care. Great basics

sleep I love vegetarian food, it's perfect for a girls night.

Dh thinks I'm mad at him whenever I cook a dish with high vegetable contents, but he absolutely loved a Mexican open pan dish I made,it's on my pin, super easy and delicious. You just throw everything at once let it simmer, and ta da!

Sleepwhenidie · 03/12/2014 22:17

Thanks for the reassurance Smile

libertychick · 04/12/2014 08:38

Good morning all Smile
What is everyone wearing today? I am wearing my new uniqlo blue jumper with Me&Em navy trousers, petty boots, navy cable knit All Saints scarf and the usual CdC military style coat. Silver heart necklace and small pearl earrings.

Sitting beside a v good looking man on the Tube Smile. Good start to the day.

LinusDKD · 04/12/2014 09:26

Morning!

sleep your food sounds delicious! A meal I haven't had to cook? Count me in! Wink

DHL just delivered the blue Tippi merino jumper I ordered last week and it's lovely. It seems less fitted than the Uniqlo ones I got in NY but I'm not sure which I prefer.

I have asked a friend who's traveling to the US to pick me up some more of the Uniqlo ones in other colours as Uniqlo doesn't deliver to where I live. Sad

After moaning on MNV yesterday morning about my style rut I did change into something different to accompany DS to a party in the afternoon.

I wore my lovely grey By Malene Birger pencil skirt, grey tights my grey Whistles ankle boots and a black Uniqlo merino crew neck. I would have preferred to have put on a grey jumper but I don't have a dark grey one and my light grey one is in the wash. I did feel quite good in that outfit and DH liked it as well. Wink

Today I am wearing my black J Crew pixi pants and a Rails shirt with my bikers when I go out.

Stokey · 04/12/2014 10:08

Great outfits Liberty and Linus. Always a bonus to have a hottie on the tube Grin. And your party outfit sounded perfect linus.

I'm wearing a yellow BR skirt (just above knee-length) and new black H&M with sequin leopard jumper - which I can't find on the website, and new giant Zara scarf as my house is arctic. Have only run out of the house so far taking DD her glasses so was wearing Uggs Blush but will either wear high tops or suede ankle boots when I venture out for real.

Has anyone had sash windows replaced? We still have the original Victorian ones but really think we need to do something about them as they are so draughty.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2014 10:10

Your outfit sounds lovely Linus.

Liberty lovely too. I went through a few days once of seeing a high proportion of good looking men on the tube.

I'm in usual, r&b skinnies, Equipment check jumper and Maison peacoat. Using the acne blue scarf from last year again which is good.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2014 10:11

xpost. And Stokey, we've still got original draughty sash here.

Sleepwhenidie · 04/12/2014 10:56

Am in gym kit, about to head off to sweat, chilli made . Off to get canapé bits and some booze to make a Christmassy cocktail, was thinking prosecco, Cointreau and cranberry juice, (Nigella), any better ideas (easy to make for 6) welcome!

Sequinned skirts sound lovely One, as does hottie on tube Lib

Quick wwyc...I sold a sweater on eBay (for coat fund). One bidder. She's emailed apologising today saying she 'bid in haste' and size is wrong....

bettykt · 04/12/2014 10:57

Morning,

I'm just in school run uniform of black skinnies, NB trainers, Gap crew neck merino block sweater.

Linus love the sound of your outfit yesterday, tres chic and I love how you're getting great cpw from your Rails shirts a good investment. I've had check shirts in the past but haven't really worn them much but am tempted to buy a cheap one to see how I get on. You're inspiring me.

Linus another great sounding outfit from you and a good looking man to toggle at on the tube, what a bonus.

Stokey are you wearing that scarf you linked yesterday, I really like it.

Marsha is the Maison peacoat your new one?

I'm still waiting for my JCrew package to arrive, pouring with rain here but I need to go out and buy some stocking fillers for dc, time is starting to run out and Christmas is creeping up very quickly. Why oh why am I so disorganised?

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 04/12/2014 11:13

Morning all.

Sleep that cocktail sounds lovely and very easy, don't make too much work for yourself if you can help it! Not sure on the jumper, but that is very annoying.

I like hearing about everyone's outfits, however today I'm dressed for the glamour of a smear test, grey Tippi and some old black trousers. Also no concealer as I'm going to talk to the doctor about my skin.

santa your DH's reaction to veggie dishes made me giggle. In our house a meal without meat isn't a proper meal Hmm and neither is soup, unless it is homemade after a roast chicken.

My all saints jacket arrived yesterday and it wasn't right, so really hope they refund me quickly as I need the money for last minute pre-xmas buys and sale shopping. Think I will try to get some new workwear this time around, boring but necessary.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2014 11:15

Betty yes, the new one. My poor oversize one from last year is in the wardrobe every day. I should wear it so I don't feel guilty.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2014 11:27

I feel like that about workwear Blair

I've ordered some stuff from the outnet, hard to get on there, as the clearance is on. Erdem top, those Paige skinnies and navy I&I cashmere. But might send it all, or at least some of it back. Will link when site stops crashing.

MarshaBrady · 04/12/2014 11:48

Not paige, 7fam

shopafrolic · 04/12/2014 11:55

On train into town. Wearing navy uniqlo cashmere sweater, goldsign lures and cos purple cashmere scarf. Pistols and black Mulberry bag. DS so excited. Have lovely days all. X

shopafrolic · 04/12/2014 14:04

Tuttons is ok Blair right on the piazza. Quite mainstream. Good for breakfast and chocolate brownies. Never done an evening meal....

QueenCardigan · 04/12/2014 14:09
