Can't quite believe its afternoon already, have just wasted about 1.5 hours in tk maxx but came out with the following:

Topaz when we were little my dp stuck to the 'Irish' way of doing it but now I start a bit earlier as we're often away for New Year and seems like a waste not to enjoy the decs for longer. Not too long though as tree starts going brown after a while. Was lovely to see you too. Will say it again, love your hair that length .

I ordered this Boden sweater today in the hope it solves some Xmas eating out issues.
Decorated the tree today, no time to sew today so I have blocked out tomorrow morning to try!

I have one Xmas party to attend on Thursday,and another one Saturday, former one is sort of small and casual, so will wear VB cream shirt dress, the one on Saturday, is formal one, so will wear the dressier sleevless Bruno one, and then I have about 3 more to attend , and we are hosting one.it makes my head hurt thinking how to plan outfits, I hate party season,

I'm on a short visit to Paris, work stuff and catching up with my parents, helped my dad pickup an early Xmas gift for my mum this afternoon, the shops were bursting with people it was just madness,i dashed into a nearby place and came back 20 minutes later and still my dad wasnt called to pay! . have just enjoyed a yummy home cooked meal with them, dessert made me think of amber we had pineapple macaron they came in an exquisite pineapple shaped box. Mainly bought the macaron for the box itself.will get some for dcs,as they love macarons,

Wouldn't it be fun, if mrshop, and mrdry meet??,

I have some slim or skinny navy ones, not sure if name tbh.
Very sift stretchy denim.
Also have some sort of grey snakeskin effect ones that are more summery

The mint velvet ones are the Houston and the ones with triple zips.

Mmmm pineaple macarons. I've never seen those in the shops. Might have to go into town just to try one.

Another thing that holds me back from too early decs is DS's birthday being in the second week of December. I always felt that he should have his cards up for a decent few days before starting on Christmas, combined with not wanting the tree to dry up too soon.

This silk top and this cashmere jumper in both navy and grey arrived today. They are all keepers. (I have given them to DH to give me for Christmas - we do a lot of that!)

Ugh. My poor ds. Recovered well enough to be at school these last 2 days. He woke up an hour ago and was seriously sick. Thank goodness for our nanny. She cleaned up for me while ds clung on to me. He's asleep now bless him.

Wearing another one of my Rails shirts today as I'm stuck in a style rut at the moment.

I need to start wearing some skirts and my J Crew pixi pants more often as jeans and a shirt are getting a bit boring.
