Well done Marsha!
Shop that is Sad about your peacoat. You were so excited about it and I thought it looked really good on you.

libertychick · 29/11/2014 20:29

Oh all lovely amber. I have a pair of flat shoes on that colour and they seem to work with everything. Good move on the undies Wink

MarshaBrady · 29/11/2014 20:34

Thanks Lib! Oh and my wedding shoes. I just had to dive in, throw and not think.

Me too Shop, I thought it looked great.

Amber amazing, love the clutch and those Choos are such a nice colour.

santamarianovella · 29/11/2014 20:51

I did a huge clear out before moving, and I'm not a hoarder ,but found loads of things I haven't worn/need,so I decided to give to friends, they were all in excellent condition , . I keep some items that are very sentimental to me,like a leather gucci jacket dh bought me, havent worn it in a long time, but can never give away, a brunello cucinelli sweater I stole borrowed from my dad, that I wear at home now, so soft.

shop Sad it did look great on you, so that's three votes so far, , may e you can pull it off.

Love the clutch amber,

I ate half a Yule log cake,it was supposed to feed 6!!... I washed it down with glogg,, I don't think I should eat anything all week,

shopafrolic · 29/11/2014 21:11

Hello everyone! thanks for good wishes. Feel dreadful so got straight back and into bed.

Amber your nap purchases are lovely. I have a similar hand bag, similar shoes and similar underwear. are you getting conventional? !Shock also on underwear, are you wearing the right size? I saw that 32 back is their smallest size which would be a size 10 in most shops. you're size 8 now aren't you? I would expect you to be a 30 back? (am obsessed with right sized bras!)

I had a near miss today on bags. I almost took out my blue suede ps1. changed mind at last minute and took mulberry mitzy hobo. Someone spilled beer which went on my bag. I might have wept if it was my suede bag!!!Smile

santamarianovella · 29/11/2014 22:54

The bag fairy was looking after you novice Smile,

Interesting about bra size, I'm size 8-6, mostly 6, and I wear 32 back, b cup mostly,

BrandyAlexander · 29/11/2014 23:05

Santa, you're bra size (the number) should be the same as the measurement that goes under your boobs. I am a size 6 mostly with 25" waist. I am hourglass so under boobs is just under 28. Hence my bra size is 28. Across top of boobs, over boobs I am 34" (if I lean over and dangle them forwardsGrin). 6" difference means I am an E cup. For you to be 32B, your chest would have to be 31 or 32" under boobs and 33"/34" over boobs. If you're 31 under boobs then unless you're Barbie Grinyou would probably 28"/29" around waist. You wouldn't be a size 6/8. You would be more like a 10 on bottom. Bet that makes no sense!!!Blush

santamarianovella · 29/11/2014 23:21

I just measured my self with two measuring tapes,

Under boobs is 30.5 and above is 33

Waist, 25.5

Hips 34.5

I was fitted twice this year, and they both said I'm between 32 b and 32 c , I even have a couple of agent bras in32 D!

QueenCardigan · 29/11/2014 23:24

I'd be surprised too amber if you're a 32. I'm a 30f.

I ordered a new top and bag from house of Fraser earlier after seeing it linked on another thread. Can't link at the moment as the website is playing up. I actually had to call to place the order.

shop its a tricky one. I can see why you might not feel entirely happy in the coat anymore but fwiw loads of us thought it looked great on you. can you not sell it for a decent price anywhere?

santamarianovella · 29/11/2014 23:25

Ok ,dh just gave me this Confused look, when he saw me going to the dressing room to measure myself in the middle of the night .
He wanted to know what triggered it?

Should I tell him we are comparing bra sizes on mnv Grin

santamarianovella · 29/11/2014 23:28

I remember sleep is a similar size to me,and we both wear size 26 jeans,

Maybe my upper back wide? I don't know!

libertychick · 29/11/2014 23:38

I measure 31 under boobs and 36 over. Bravissmo fitted me as 30E/F and I wore that for about 9 months and was uncomfortable all the time. Switched to 32DD and still uncomfortable. So went back to 34D and am finally happy in my bra Smile

libertychick · 29/11/2014 23:40

Huge Envy at 25/26 inch waist. I'd be afraid to measure ATM.

BrandyAlexander · 30/11/2014 00:13

Santa, you are measurements are perfect.Envy

I just measured myself again, and we have the same waist size 25.5) but funny how under our boobs are v different! Your bra size does sound right. 30.5 is either 30 or 32 and 33 over, would be either b or c cup. So 32b does make sense. Actually I had same conversation with Sleep and she said same thing about wide back etc. hope your dh is thankful to meWink. Thinking of your waist size do 26 jeans feel slightly loose? I am having debate with myself on this at mo.

Lib, see I would have said 32dd.

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 07:44

Coffees at the ready ladies. I'm going fantasy shopping.....

AmberNectarine · 30/11/2014 07:45

No, I'm pretty sure it's wrong - but I find 30 so uncomfortable - I probably need to get used to it. I'm 29 underbust, 34 over, 24.5 waist and 35 hips.

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 07:46

Who can rock a yellow bag

QueenCardigan · 30/11/2014 07:48

amber this is perfect for you

AmberNectarine · 30/11/2014 07:49

And gasp at conventional Wink. I thought the jewel print and colour of shoes was pretty loud. I suppose the difference is you'll probably wear them with something plain and sophisticated novice whereas I, erm, won't.

AmberNectarine · 30/11/2014 07:50

Phew, glad that's new season QueenC - might have been tempted with the 25% off!
