the green lace Oasis dress I bought? Can't even get it on. Either I am way way bigger than I think I am or this dress is cut so so very small. I honestly don't think it would fit anyone bigger than a twelve or a small fourteen on the hips even though it's labeled a size 16! If anyone knows of anyone who would want it, I'm happy to pass it on as I've lost the receipt so can't return

Mominatrix · 26/10/2014 10:55

Karbea the track suit bottoms are from J Crew.

Linus Grin at your DH.

one 2 full cups of tea? How funny, well not really, but I wonder why 2 instead of just the one for yourself?

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2014 10:57

mom it is odd isn't it! I may have been having a 'dream conversation' with someone though i don't remember it and that could be why there were two

MarshaBrady · 26/10/2014 13:23

Hello everyone I am having a highly relaxing afternoon out with dh.

And I now have the desire to know, does anyone else wonder how so when pondering Suki Waterhouse. Is it her bf?

Sleepwhenidie · 26/10/2014 13:37

Hi, I am stuck at home again with DS1 who had a bit of a rough night, but seems a little better - cooler and playing on ps3, which he hasn't done for about a week (a sure sign of illness Hmm!). DH has taken the little ones to the British Museum to look at mummies - had to explain to DS2 that no, it wasn't going to be 'mummies like me' Grin, so cute!

Ended up ordering some black leather Paige leggings last night and also a few bits from the Outnet, including some IM jeans

marsha Confused what the flip are you talking about? Have I missed a page on SW or something? Smile

BrandyAlexander · 26/10/2014 13:41

Marsha, I don't get the whole Suki thing.Blush But oh her boyfriend. Oh, I so would. Oh yes.

Grin @ Mr Linus!

So I turned up the airport. Went to the business class check in. A man came over while I am waiting to be served and told me off for arriving late. (1 hour 20 mins before flight is a miracle!). Then tells me to move to the proper queue. I look at it in horror and say but I am flying business. He looks at me like I just walked in under his shoe and asks me to prove it. The paperwork my PA has given me is in bottom of bag (grey suede mulberry as an aside!). As I struggle to find it he says condescendingly "come on you must be able to find it" like I was lying about flying business class. Then he sees I am, and suddenly it's Ma'am this and Ma'am that escorting me to premium check in which is in a whole other bit. Twat.Angry I get that when I am dressed casually and make up free I look about 18 but I still get the rage about being treated like a child.Angry And breeeeathe.

MarshaBrady · 26/10/2014 13:42

Love those Marant zebras Sleep

So I have random vogue questions and up first is Suki W, I see her on pin as face of Burberry leading the catwalk and not sure I get it. But she is going out with hot Bradley Cooper, might be helping. Not sure

MarshaBrady · 26/10/2014 13:50

Oh Novice what an arse. I'd be tempted to get something back for that kind of rudeness.

santamarianovella · 26/10/2014 14:15

I'm really curious to know what marsha is talking about! Grin,

sleep glad ds is getting better, very nice IM jeans,

novice, that's really annoying,safe flight .

santamarianovella · 26/10/2014 14:19

Oh! Have just seen your post marsha, I think it has to do with cara and Georgia, the trio are what is considered scruffy/ rock/ eclectic Brit posh look,

Karbea · 26/10/2014 14:23

novice I honestly think a lot of people in service jobs should be stuck behind desks and not allowed to talk to the public. Most people who fly a lot dress down, I know I definitely do (not that I fly much these days, but I used to, and comfy attire habits die slowly).
I used to have a convertible mini (that I bought new when I was younger/single, in fact I bought myself onto the list when they were first available) the staff at BMW treated me so badly whenever it needed servicing or leaks fixed! that I will never ever buy a BMW again.

Karbea · 26/10/2014 14:23

sleep love the jeans!

shopafrolic · 26/10/2014 14:33

Sleep you know those Paige are faux right? Hmm

Sleepwhenidie · 26/10/2014 14:49

I knew that price was too good to be leather! Blush. Will give them a go anyway!

shopafrolic · 26/10/2014 14:55

Aaaarggh - I was worried that might be the case. Suggested them for Linus as a starter before she invested in full price leather as I know she loves the fit of Paige. When I saw your comments I thought you might have thought they were real. Sorry!

LinusDKD · 26/10/2014 16:26

You can pass them onto me sleep Wink if you don't like them. I'll pay what you paid for it and you would be doing me a favour

novice I HATE people like that. I would have asked his name and would be writing a stern letter to the airline company.

Right, will have a proper catch up later. Have a lot of tidying up to do....

libertychick · 26/10/2014 16:55

What a complete dickhead novice. If you were an 18 year old running late and in the wrong queue how much effort would it take him to be nice and help you out regardless? Hope your flight goes well.

Sleep glad to hear DS is on the mend.

Marsha I don't get Suki or Cara.

Sleepwhenidie · 26/10/2014 18:11

Sad - just back from yoga and DS1 is in a right state again, definitely doctors for him in the morning.

Linus - no problem with the leggings Smile.

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2014 18:21

What an absolute arse novice I hope you aren't still upset by his disgusting attitude. I have to say, I get similar behaviours from people who assume I'm young, it's really not nice and can make you very uncomfortable

LinusDKD · 26/10/2014 18:45

Oh no sleep! I agree, see the dr tomorrow. I hope you have a quiet night and your DS feels better soon.

Sleepwhenidie · 26/10/2014 18:54

Kids are all DH's turn tonight, I am off to a friends house for a girls dinner and drinks...Smile, no idea what to wear, just getting ready now.

Drywhiteplease · 26/10/2014 19:16

Oh aye...it's pissing down and it's blowing a gale, there's been a land slide so we can't drive south Grin am having a lovely time, fires are roaring, glasses are full and am planning a swim wear shot by a loch tomorrow Grin

Novice I know he was a prat but being taken for an 18yr old is nice and I love it when people are caught out being judgy. DH as you know, doesn't give a fig about his appearance away from work went to the v upmarket jewellers in our town in his cycling gear years ago fluorescent rainproof jacket, cycling shorts, helmet etc chained his bike onto the lamppost outside and rang the bell, went in, bought yours truly v nice ear rings . When I found out Shock he said " my money's as good as anyone else's ".
Never judge a book by its cover. That airline man was an idiot.

Sleep hope your little one feels better soon.

OneLittleLady · 26/10/2014 19:29

Has anyone heard from Grumpy lately? Haven't seen her around for a while

dry I must see lochside swimsuit pics Grin

maradesbois · 26/10/2014 19:45

Evening Voguettes,

What a lovely surprise the extra hour was this morning, had forgotten all qbout it.

Novice that's sooo rude, like a 2-tier system of politeness. Hope you have a good trip after the bad start.

Marsha i don't get the cult of Cara D etc, not that why they are models but rather why they are ubiquitous atm. Had to eat my lunch today facing her gurning face filling the entire window of the Chanel store opposite. I don't care about these girls but they still intrude into my life!

Have just ordered burgundy Acne Colts from MW with double discount. Don't want to lose post so will link separately.

Gah, I can't bear people who fawn to those that they think have money and look down on those that don't. Equally as bad are those ones who have money who think they deserve better treatment. I remember one night a patient demanding another pillow. I explained that everyone on the ward had 2 pillows and at that time we had none spare. She told me she was a friend of the chief exec. Quite frankly I didn't care at that point whether she was the queen but I had no more pillows to spare and patients in far more clinical need for them than her. Anyway rant over Grin.

one think I may have passed your college today. I saw your HOF outlet and primark. We had to make a dash into town to get me some antispasmodics as I had an acute attack of IBS type symptoms. Absolutely no idea what bought it on but the medicine soon sorted it out.

sleep, your poor boy. Deginitely see the GP.
