nope couldn't do it

serenity · 19/09/2006 16:21

Yes, as long as they were in near perfect condition.

I've also worn 2nd hand underwear when a very kind MNer sent me some feeding bras when DD was little. Wouldn't go for 2nd hand knickers though

nailpolish · 19/09/2006 16:21

also, re charity shops, the shoes were £4, gave the lady a fiver, couldnt bring myself to take the £1 change

"oh put it in the box"

If they were new then I would but couldn't wear shoes someone else has worn.

expatinscotland · 19/09/2006 16:22

Even if they were gorgeous, NP.

W/my luck I'd get verrucas off them.

CarlyP · 19/09/2006 16:23

If they were in good condition 'almost new' then yes I would. Godammit!

Unfortunately all the shoes I see in charity shops are even more manky and crumpled than the ones I already own!

bootsmonkey · 19/09/2006 16:25

I love a bargain and if the shoes were in good condition, I have no problem with it. My current workshoes (black heels) were £4 in a charity shop and a pair I bought for a wedding were £11 on e-bay. Am about to stick them back on as unlikely to wear them again...

moondog · 19/09/2006 16:26

You big jessies!
Yes,I would NP.
No problem at all with that one.

What kind of loon pays £30 odd every time their kid wants a pair of shoes??

It is sooo wasteful as well.

My ds wears all of dd's (unisex) old ones, then they get passed on.

GreensleevesTheParrot · 19/09/2006 16:32

Yep, I would. In fact I am

I do, moondog!

But then again, I use a £25 Mason Pearson brush on her hair.

magnolia1 · 19/09/2006 16:37

If in good condition I would no problem

DD2 will use DD1's shoes if they fit her. But DD1 has narrow, long, hard to fit feet.
