......HIDEOUS!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!! All different colours too, and how proud they looked striding along.

Sorry but there is just no need for this siliness. They were shopping in them to, I could have ignored this fact if they were wading in a local stream or something.

Also, saw a mum at the school gate this morning with the biggest feet I have ever seen on a woman, couldn't help but stare. She had flip flops on and lots of hard skin. Yuk.

Think I have a foot fetish?

How old were the kids , I don't think anything would induce ds to wear them ! Is this the "posh" version of chav coordinating parent/child sports wear !

Twiglett · 18/09/2006 15:11

Northerner · 18/09/2006 15:12

Jimjams2 · 18/09/2006 15:15

I was wading in a stream with them on Saturday (actually I was panicking in a river with them but that's irrelevant). DS1 refused to wear his in the river so I was carrying his.

Twiglett · 18/09/2006 15:15

yes JJ do you wear yours in Pubic

Fimbo · 18/09/2006 15:15

Hideous things - you even get them without holes now. My dd covets a pink pair (next summer, darling, next summer)

Don't know about 'fashionable' but there has been quite a few threads on here about them. Lots of folk are wearing them atm.

Personally, I would not be seen dead.

Hate them.

Jimjams2 · 18/09/2006 15:16

Er yes I wear them in public. (ponders the point of spending 20 quid on shoes to wear round the house) God people have more reason to stare at us than our crocs. I wouldn;t know what had happened if I went out and someone didn't stare.

Northerner · 18/09/2006 15:17

PMSL at pubic

Oh, jimjams, I now have a great mental picture of you in your crocs, naked, with a big bush

Sorry!!!!!!

OP posts:
Jimjams2 · 18/09/2006 15:19

Well ds1 was willing to go naked with them in public on Saturday. We had a bit of a disagreement about that (I won)

TheDullWitch · 18/09/2006 15:20

They are unbelievably comfortable though. I wear mine to the school gate but wouldn t shop in them. I see them as slippers to potter around garden in really.

Mascaraohara · 18/09/2006 15:20

...like twats?

Sorry will read the thread now

Jimjams2 · 18/09/2006 15:21

How long have you had them dullwitch? I used to think like that, used to change them to go to the shops roound the corner, then thought sod it these are way more comfortable, so wear them all the time now.

stleger · 18/09/2006 15:29

Jimjams, off topic, did you ever go anywhere with the trained help dog? I saw one last week, I live near the training place in Ireland, s/he looked very impressive. I tried on crocs but they seemed too wide.(Not to mention loud!)

Northerner · 18/09/2006 15:33

Lol at twats mascara, I was trying to be a bit more polite

CarlyP · 18/09/2006 15:37
