Who wears makeup everyday then???

Just following on from other threads - I am really interested to know how many of you wear makeup everyday, if you do what time do you have to get up in the morning to do it??

For those that wear it - does it really make that much of a difference as most of you have said that your make-up is neutral colours???

Never in Summer, can't be bothered, only for high days and holidays in Winter...

i used to have ALL expensive makeup but like jim jams it has been used for drawing, flushing, eating and various other unusual uses by ds1

yes it really does make a difference - although you can't really tell i'm wearing it - without it i look very pale and pasty... i have very even blemish free skin though, its just incredibly pale!

daily essentials are concealer/light bronzer/eyeliner/mascara/neutral lipstic

I dont wear it every day although I should do because when I am wearing make up I get lots of complements from friends and from DH. I dont have a problem with the 5 mins it takes to put it on in the morning... Its the taking it off that I can't be arsed with. I am a lazy slattern and even though I feel so much better with some lippy on I have to say that 3 days out of 5 I dont bother with it

Blimey, that sounds like a lot. It only takes five minutes, though - I've been practising for a long time.

And I am most definitely a feminist.

I do. Takes a couple of minutes as I put on very little for day to day/work purposes:

one step face base (from Virgin)
brush over some bronzer
lipstick and/or gloss

I put on more when going out properly.

I rarely go out without any makeup.

I do:

moisturiser
foundation
blusher
Eyeshadow
Mascara
Lippie

Takes about 5 mins for work or everyday or 10 for going out in the evening

I don't get the mascara but no eyeshadow thing, it doesn't work on me, looks odd

Thanks to MN I actually got up this morning and put makeup on. Can't say I felt any different or looked that different, but was 10 minutes late leaving the house.

most days.. use the virgin vie faces base, actually it's all virgin vie as i used to sell it and have so much of it left..

i use a facewash and moisture cream twice a day too and a face mask twice a week

the older i get the more maintainance i need!!

nighttime is same but i use eyeliner and lip liner and wear two shades eye shadow

I made the effort after reading this thread and put on some makeup this morning. I even managed to get DS1 to school in plenty of time as well.
I felt better for it so I am going to make the effort every morning from now on

I put on a bit of beauty flash balm and tinted moisturiser, eye liner and mascara and lip gloss. The alternative is to look like I've risen from the dead - not nice!

I wear it everyday. One day I was in a hideous rush to work so didn't wear it. Several people commented that I didn't look very well and asked if I was feeling ok. I do moisturiser, then a light foundation, then benefit hoola and dandelion to give me some colour. Usually wear mascara, esp if wearing my contacts. Lipgloss or balm applied after I have eaten my cereal bars in the car on the way to work . It really doesn't take long and makes me feel loads better if I'm feeling miserable.

Nope - I only tend to wear it when going out. I cycle to work though (7 miles each way) so I'd have to put it on when I got there, and I never bother! I work in an office full of men!

lipstick
eyelash curlers and mascara

about 25 mins

if im going out:

all the above plus eyeliner, about 45 mins. bit of a tart me.
