Or a really good one anyway.
shirt dress from h&m
It's modal, feels really cool & comfy. Looks kinda preppy/boho. Has pockets!!

I bought it 3 days ago, have gotten loads of compliments & feel very comfy yet stylish.

Caveat #1 I have yet to launder it
Caveat #2 I do prefer my shoulders/upper arms covered, others may feel differently!

I paid 30, so I presume £25 or so...

Sorry, not modal. It's lyocell! Whatever that is. Feels like a thicker washed silk fabric. Soft & breathable

That's lovely. I might sneak into H&M on the way to my chiropodist appointment tomorrow!

ThisBitchIsResting · 16/06/2014 19:22

That is lovely! Is it available to buy on the website? It only has a 'share' link Confused

Pagwatch · 16/06/2014 19:24

Too short for me.
Lovely though.

MerdeAlor · 16/06/2014 19:24

I love it. I'm going to buy one for Glastonbury Grin thanks

Northumberlandlass · 16/06/2014 19:26

Lovely. I'm 6ft tall though....maybe I could wear it as a tunic?

ouryve · 16/06/2014 19:27

Tencel is really lovely to wear (unlike modal!) I did used to have a dress that sort of style when I was much, much younger and skinner. I'd look like an unmade bed in one, now.

Charitygirl1 · 16/06/2014 19:29

Lyocell is such a great fabric - I have a pair of jeans which are mostly tencel (same diff) and they're just so comfy.

Arriettyborrower · 16/06/2014 19:30

I have it! Bought it Friday, love love love it.

Super flattering, cannot imagine who it would be unflattering on. If only it was in different colours...

Arriettyborrower · 16/06/2014 19:30

Oh and yes £24:99

northumberlandlass surely that model must be nearing 6 foot? It's just under knee length on me - 5 foot 3....

noddyholder · 16/06/2014 19:33

I would look like prisoner cell block h in that but its lovely!

MozzchopsThirty · 16/06/2014 19:34

I love this, will make my way to H&M soon

Onesleeptillwembley · 16/06/2014 19:36

It's a bit 'prisoner; cell block H'. Don't like it at all.

Onesleeptillwembley · 16/06/2014 19:37

Great minds, Noddy. Grin

JuanPotatoTwo · 16/06/2014 19:37

It is lovely but looks more like a shirt than a dress

Littleturkish · 16/06/2014 19:37

Sleeves = spring, but like the idea.

Best1sWest · 16/06/2014 19:39

That would be a shirt on me.

Naicecuppatea · 16/06/2014 19:46

Love it, but can't seem to get hold of it online Envy

Iatemyskinnyperson · 16/06/2014 19:52

I'm 5'4" and it's maybe1.5/2" above my knee. Pretty decent on me without being matronly!

Northumberland there is a tie waist on it. I'd be worried it might hit you too high? If not it would be nice with cropped leggings or jeggings (or treggings Wink)

Clicked on this as Breastfeeding access is important in my current clothes choices. Can't see it flattering me. I hate anything with an elastic nip at the waist. I'm lacking in waist and short bodied so would make me look like a sack of spuds Hmm.

Iatemyskinnyperson · 16/06/2014 20:06

It's not elastic, it's draw-string.

Thanks! Arrietty, had a trip to H&M planned in my lunch hour tomorrow..will see if I can find it & try it on.

Yes, the belt may become an empire line, I'll wait & see.Smile

LizzieMint · 16/06/2014 20:12

There's a very similar dress in Sainsburys at the moment - khaki coloured, slightly longer I think and with a tie waist rather than elasticated.
I bought 2 lovely summer dresses there today, was very impressed!
