I care not about the size of my arse right now, they are a bloody godsend having just had major abdominal surgery

oh eduardo, thus dies a dream :(

i have been hemming and hawing over getting some.

if i go monochrome, if they are peg shaped, if they aren't a ghastly polyester, if i wear with a heel...

it isn't happening, is it?

then again, if everyone is doing it, i may as well join in, i'll only be one more unchic chump in the herd

do you recommend an alternative?

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 13:46

i think its the polyester.
I saw the most lithe and lissome teens in them and their bums do NOT come out of it well.

I am sure Cilla wore trousers like this in the 80s

I couldn't give a flying fuck what you think. When you have such severe back and pelvic pain that a lot of clothes actually make you cry, just managing to wear something is a minor miracle!

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 13:50

alright flicky! Grin
calm it!

so you're saying i should go for 15 denier black tights and the top half of a victor/victoria costume instead?

are there any rules about top hat and cane combos before labor day i should be aware of

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 13:53

NEXT have some very comfy harem pants, keep their shape lovely and big elastic waistband

Yes, I'm aware I look like the art teacher who's been drafted in to help at the lower school disco, but meh

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 13:55

lol at art teacher.
If i ever have cause to wear trainers with non sporty clothing I feel like a primary school teacher

you see I think wobbly bits need the firm harness of strong fabric. Not Primark polyester

Amrapaali · 30/05/2014 13:59

Ok EdBarcelona just to be clear, you are not talking about harem pants, are you?

It's just that I have my eye on a lovely, swishy and ahem...voluminous pair on Ebay. Blush

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 13:59

no, not really, just those loose fatbum trousers.
