I love these as they are not as baggy as most and therefore do not make you look like you have elephant hips

www.plumo.com/products/Suna-Pants.html

My h took one look and asked me why I was trying on pyjamas. Might get them anyway, as they can always be used in bed once the fashion passes...

if i ever find the right pair i am going to wear those things into rags

MyrtleDove · 30/05/2014 15:25

My arse is always going to look huge, it may as well be comfy whilst being huge!

TheFairyCaravan · 30/05/2014 15:37

My hips are 32" wide. I am 7stone 12lbs, those trousers do not make my arse look bad.

Yesterday I put a pair of Gap Khakis on, by lunchtime I looked like a teenboy who was trying to flash their boxers! Now that is unflattering!

RiffyWammal · 30/05/2014 15:42

I have these from Select, super comfy and they look lovely with flat sandals. I can't vouch for my arse because I tend to ignore it.

yazzy85 · 30/05/2014 20:36

those select ones are actually quite nice, decent print and not too baggy

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 30/05/2014 20:43

There's an advert for an Asda pair on my local bus stop. All I can think when I pass it is "Dear god, if that's what the styled model looks like, what the fuck would a civilian look like in them?"

EduardoBarcelona · 30/05/2014 22:02

They look okay ish. Yes

BeattieBow · 30/05/2014 22:06

no they look awful on the arse, unless you wear high heels. which defeats the purpose because they're the acceptable daytime face of pyjamas.

I still bought some from mango though.

purpleapple1234 · 30/05/2014 22:19

I tried on a couple of pairs today wanting to wear them with heels and look all slick in a miami vice retro way. BUT!! It was not my arse but my not so flat tummy that made me look like I was in my best pjs for an extended hospital visit
Not at all flattering and once again a trend that only looks good on the stick thin. In fact i have a theory that most of the fashionable clothes are all baggy/shapeless and/or 80's/90's distasteful that only the young and skinny can carry it off. The rest of us just look like frump monsters.

ClaraDeLaNoche · 30/05/2014 23:12

Balls. I'll just make sure I sit down a lot in them and keep my back close to the wall.

CornishCreamPuff · 30/05/2014 23:32

What on earth is a corset with an arse bustle?

RonaldMcDonald · 31/05/2014 00:46

ED I take exception to you posting pics of your style role model Cilla

STOP. .... ( hammer time )

TinklyLittleLaugh · 31/05/2014 01:02

But but I wore this sort of thing circa 1985 and again in about 1991. And more worryingly DH had something similar at Glastonbury 1993. Does everything come back around eventually?

ShutTheFuckUpBarbara · 31/05/2014 07:22

tinkly are you introducing the intriguing possibility of vintage horror trousers?

Surely no one kept these from the first time around, did they?

Morgause · 31/05/2014 07:28

However bad they are they are infinitely better than leggings which should only be worn by children or anyone without an arse.

nilbyname · 31/05/2014 07:34

I have 2 pairs. One nice tasteful cotton pair from monsoon. One shoddy leopard print from primarni. I'm on holiday in Mallorca, I've been living in them, so ner.

Eastpoint · 31/05/2014 07:36

I thought they were part of a plot to make me realise I've got old & fat. Long pleated/gathered skirts are part of the same conspiracy. Like this skirt to make me look dumpy.

googietheegg · 31/05/2014 07:43

I'm in! I think. My arse is pas trop mal but my tummy looks like a yoghurt but it wobbles like a jelly.

Can anyone nice do a link to the next ones pleazz?

TigsytheTiger · 31/05/2014 08:51

I've got these from RI
www.riverisland.com/women/trousers--leggings/cropped-trousers--joggers/Multicoloured-floral-print-joggers-655685

nice quality Jersey, not too much spare fabric, will be wearing with white vest, soft denim jacket and mid heels. I'm size 8 to 10, and tried LOADS on before finding these! The rest made me look dreadful.

TigsytheTiger · 31/05/2014 08:54

Here are the Next ones btw, the only ones I didn't try!
