Where do you buy your work out gear?

I need to replace all my workout tops again, I have to do it fairly often as they just end up stinking of sweat. Last lot I got was from Gap with a 30% discount code. I don't want to spend a fortune but I also don't really want to have to keep replacing them - any ideas? I need approx. 10 tops and some sports bras.

I buy mine from Sports Direct. Not exciting, but I'm not wearing them as a fashion item.

DotToDott · 19/05/2014 15:21

I second sports direct, also bought a few items recently from decathlon website- cheap but still quite pleasant to look at.

BikeRunSki · 19/05/2014 15:23

SoActive.com, or it might be .co.uk
TkMaxx

Amethyst24 · 19/05/2014 15:40

Decathlon usually. So glad I am not the only one whose tops end up smelling, it's grim.

KatoPotato · 19/05/2014 15:42

Sports Direct for their USA Pro longline bras, also tkmaxx and the Nike factory store.

ThatBloodyWoman · 19/05/2014 15:46

E bay.

If things stink of sweat, soak in a solution of white vinegar and water, and wash.

No need to get rid of them!

JuniDD · 19/05/2014 16:03

TK Maxx - you might have to keep going in but they usually have a good range.
Sports Direct
Sports Bras I do splash out on so Amazon or whichever sports shops sells proper ones.

AngieM2 · 19/05/2014 16:48

TK Maxx.

Mumelie · 19/05/2014 16:53

TK Maxx

Secretsquirrel13 · 19/05/2014 17:16

I also get stuff from cycling shops like chain reaction and wiggle, usually find that the more technical fabrics wash better, have flat seams etc

SuperFlyHigh · 19/05/2014 17:16

TK Maxx

Skivvywoman · 19/05/2014 17:45

I just bought some workout gear from primark as they have started doing a range and I must say it's washed up great and has nice colours

EduardoBarcelona · 19/05/2014 17:46

splodgeness · 19/05/2014 17:47

Decathlon. It really is worth making a trip there, they have everything (even stuff you didn't know you needed) and it is nice and good quality. (Plus I get tennis balls for the dog there!)

ThatBloodyWoman · 19/05/2014 17:48

I hear Lidl does some good cheap workout gear offers at times.

dexter73 · 19/05/2014 17:49

I get my sports bras from Under Armour and sports gear from Decathlon, Nike or Adidas.

1moreRep · 19/05/2014 17:50

As someone who works out a minimum of 5 times a week I have the same problem so-
For running- decathlon,
leggings- sports direct,
I also go primark and grab a load of cheap vests- sports bras from there are also good, asics shop for shorts, tk maxx

Meglet · 19/05/2014 17:54

TK Maxx
H&M
Sports Direct
Primark

goodasitgets · 19/05/2014 17:59

Sports direct
Soaking in napisan or zoflora or dettol laundry stuff oh or halo/asda/Tesco sports wash
Don't use fabric conditioner when you wash stuff either, it holds the sweat smell in (and trashes the fabric)

Skinheadmermaid · 19/05/2014 17:59

I have also got a few bits from sports direct and tk maxx but primark and h&m also have a lovely fitness range now and really cheap. Infact i prefer my cheaper bits to the adidas/puma stuff i have.
Also have picked up boxing and running shorts pretty cheap on ebay.

trixymalixy · 19/05/2014 18:00

The soactive.com outlet section is good. Otherwise tk maxx or sports direct.

GAP have lovely capris in at the moment but they are £30, so I might wait for the sales.

trixymalixy · 19/05/2014 18:01

Thanks for the vinegar tip!

I really like Sweaty Betty, but obviously only in the sale - I'm not a millionaire after all Wink
