I've just ordered some straight midwash jeans from next, and I just wondered what sort of jeans were 'in'. Please tell me what sort your all wearing.

OP posts:
scarlettsmummy2 · 16/04/2014 09:15

Hollister straight leg, mother high waisted and MIH high waisted. No idea if any of these are in but I like them.

2madboys · 16/04/2014 09:31

Dorothy Perkins dark skinny or straight and just got out my Boden 7/8 crops (blue) and Gap skinny white crops for the summer.

Bunbaker · 16/04/2014 09:37

Straight. Skinny jeans don't suit me. I have a pair of Tommy Hilfiger bootcut that I still wear as well, but not when the weather is wet as the bottom of the legs get soggy. And I don't want soggy bottoms.

ChocolateWombat · 16/04/2014 09:40

Uniqulo skinny or straight.
I am short and my hips and slightly uneven, and they sell these all one length, but have a little old lady with a sewing machine in the back of the shop, who turns them up the the right length for you within half an hour.
Perfect for me, as both legs end up right length. Have had too many jeans, where to avoid them bei g too short, I have had them too long trailing the ground and fraying (guess that was more in th bootcutnphase) but now the length is perfect.
They wash well and are about £30! Swapped from GAP which is what I always used to wear. Uniqulo better in my book.

beccajoh · 16/04/2014 09:42

Dotty P's skinnies.

desertbaby · 16/04/2014 09:50

I always wear skinnies as my legs are slimmest part of body. I recently branched out to a slim fit pair and they feel really baggy in comparison!

BelindaAllWorkedOut · 16/04/2014 09:59

Distressed and / or patched skinnies. Or TopShop Baxters, including sometimes rolled up.

Fcukfifa · 16/04/2014 10:04

Ankle grazers! I'm hankering for some ripped white jeans for summer though, still love coloured skinnies too

LightastheBreeze · 16/04/2014 10:14

Banana Republic straight legs, I like straight legs best of the lot and have them from Next, PerUna and Boden, The ones I'm wearing today from BR I picked up in the sale for £12

Dotty P's Eden jeggings. Literally the best jeans ever. I have 4 pairs.

rainbowfeet · 16/04/2014 10:21

Primark jeggings... Love the give the elastic waist has.. Comfortable & cuts down on muffin top!

shoppingbagsundereyes · 16/04/2014 10:25

Today boyfriend. I also have straight leg. Can't wear skinny, my thighs and calfs are too chunky.

WestEast · 16/04/2014 10:26

DP's straight legged. I have rather muscly legs from lots of walking to and from work that involves hills and having an active job and I find straight legs make my legs look more feminine.

OnlyLovers · 16/04/2014 10:58

I keep reading that skinnies are on their way out, but a) everyone still seems to be selling and wearing them and b) I don't care –I love them! I have slim, toned legs but wide hips and large feet Grin, so perhaps they're not my ideal shape, but I wear them regardless.

Diesel do good ones, although I can only afford them in the sale. Uniqlo skinnies with stretch are the business and come in lots of colours, for £30.

Aboyandabunny · 16/04/2014 11:03

M&Co, Per Una, Boden and Dash straight leg.

PrincessOfChina · 16/04/2014 11:05

I still wear skinny, or sometimes straight. Not jeans, but I put on a pair of normal fit trousers today and they feel like flares. Ridiculous!

Dumpylump · 16/04/2014 11:08

Skinnies from Top Shop. Leigh ones, they're soft and very comfy, and they suit my shape. I have a embarrassing amount of them in various washes and colours......even one leopard print pair that I got in last years summer sale and am saving for a really warm day this summer so I can wear them with a black top and gold flip flops and pretend I'm in The Real Housewives of New Jersey!

Skivvywoman · 16/04/2014 11:09

Today I'm wearing next slim leg and they feel baggy normally wear skinnies or boyfriend

OryxCrake · 16/04/2014 11:12

Levis slim fit - really comfy and a good fit on me. I have one pair of skinnies (Asda) but they don't really suit me.

I also have an old, old pair of Gap bootcuts but they're still relatively narrow at the bottom and fit well.

Mind you, I am the antithesis of a fashion oracle and usually have no clue what's in or out!

peasandlove · 16/04/2014 11:14

skinnies, straight and ripped boyfriend jeans

MrsMeow · 16/04/2014 11:18

I'm still wearing skinnies & boots...hate this transition from winter wear, it catches me off guard every year!

I don't like how I look in skinnies and flats, and straight legged jeans look odd (on me) so I'm debating digging my bootcut jeans out again Wink

sansucre · 16/04/2014 12:07

Rocket in 'crispy' by Citizens of Humanity. They're high rise (ie. sit on the waist) and skinny. I had them altered so they end about 1cm above my ankle.

I love them, easily the best pair of jeans I've ever owned. Eye-wateringly expensive* but I've worn them pretty much every day since purchase, so I'm definitely getting value for money.

CardiCorgi · 16/04/2014 12:29

Howies. They are a bit slouchy and I'm not sure how fashionable they really are, but they fit me and I like them. Not cheap, alas. A second pair, also from Howies, skinny boot cut or whatever you call them.

LoveVintage · 16/04/2014 13:21

Next relaxed skinnies. I find them really flattering, although they are skinny they are more roomy without being baggy than skintight iykwim.
