OMG! I have just been sent an email by Selfridges. It's entitled Welcome to Handbag Heaven with lots of flashing bags. They have 1,200 styles. Soooo bad! Yet sooo good!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/02/2014 20:23

I got that too novice. I clicked away quickly!! Too tempting Grin

SecretSquirrel13 · 03/02/2014 20:30

Dry I've just worked out that you'd have to drink half a bottle of calpol to have the equivalent of 2 paracetamol tablets. If I was hungover that would make me rather queasyGrin

Drywhiteplease · 03/02/2014 20:43

Ooh Secret I only had 2 spoons...maybe hangover was psychosomatic !Grin
Off to peruse Selfridges handbags.

Sorry for barely participating lately - I've now started 'dry' February and am trying to avoid temptation, which wasn't easy in London yesterday. I needed the blinkers on in Harvey Nicks and Benetton, which has some luscious, bargainous cashmere in candy colours but I came home having bought myself precisely nowt.

I have pinned the fruits of Linus' labour you know where. When I got home from work, she was waiting for me. And boy, is she a beauty. Got my lovely Madewell sweatshirt from my brother yesterday and waiting on the V Westwood pendant I ordered Fri, so dry February is still delivering January's goodies, which ain't so bad Grin

shopafrolic · 03/02/2014 22:24

Do any of you lovely ladies own new Balance trainers? Are they worth it?

Drywhiteplease · 03/02/2014 22:35

Both dcs have had them, can vouch for quality. Love the coloured ones, think they look great.

Physio says I need to wear flat, supportive shoes more often during the day. I'm thinking trainers may be the only way to go......

Annianni · 03/02/2014 22:38

Hi honey... I'm home

Lovely night, slightly tipsy. Tired now.

shopafrolic · 03/02/2014 22:44

Yay! Glad you've had fun Anni

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 03/02/2014 23:10

Aww glad you had fun Anni

Shop definitely trainers, make the most of them being on trend atm. Agree the NB trainers come in lots of lovely colour combinations.
I got a pair of nike air max before christmas which are super comfy. If you have smallish feet you can buy kids trainers which are a lot cheaper Blush

santamarianovella · 03/02/2014 23:29

Tipsy is good anni Smile, glad you had a great time.

Hello ladies,

We made it to Bali! A few lessons learnt...did not get the upgrade so got elbowed by a youngster for 12 hours non stop. My glittery "mouse" Marc Jacobs flats kept snagging the blanket. I'm not made for flying cattle class, lol!

Bali, as always, absolutely stunning. Very nice hotel although DH was a bit horrified at the "tourist fashion" he saw as we drove through Kuta to get to Seminyak. But I spotted quite a few rather nice clothes shops, so he'd better brace himself.

Am wearing a red Melissa Odabash one piece and a whole cotton beach dress.

Annianni · 04/02/2014 07:35

Because Envy

Dry I need some calpol... My head hurts!!!

Drywhiteplease · 04/02/2014 08:02

"Live from Bali " how exciting Because

"Flat supportive shoes" Shop Shock. Both DCs have flat feet I blame their father and I struggle with this ESP for dd who is fashion conscious and wants to wear Converse and ballet flats to school.
NB are fab for support, if you look on line they do all sorts of different trainers for different "problems"
Adidas gazelles have fantastic arch support.
Fit flops have huge range of styles ...dd has the ballet flats for schools, although she hates them and asks every day for some others.
Birkenstocks I loath them are brilliant too.
Converse are TERRIBLE, the podiatrist hates them, no support whatsoever........try telling that to a 13yr old girl!!!!
Ballet flats generally are bad Sad because they offer no support and make you clench your toes.
It's bad for fashion conscious....trainers are the way to go. Nike are doing some beautiful colours too.

Had a hot water with lemonade, did 5 miles on the bike, had 2 ibuprofen, a glass of water, scrambled eggs, a pancake with maple syrup and another hot water with lemon and still got a fuzzy head!

Dh has just text me saying I was rather smiley and giggling last night... I am such a lightweight!!! :o

First date in over 3 years was very nice.
I wore the smaller J Brand Aidens, with the navy suede Whistles shoes, a white sheer slouchy tee (with a vest underneath cos it's February)
I added a grey draped front cardigan and my plum Cos cocoon coat, oh and the pewter Gap bargain envelope clutch... Which is brilliant as my purse fits in it and it's lovely soft leather.

I wore my huge citrine ring, with 2 silver bracelets and my grey MJ rubber bracelet.

The food was lovely, vodka lime and soda on a school night was lovely and I can't wait to do it again.

Babysitter's booked for the end of the month.

Thanks everyone for being so nice on Pin, I have some issues with how I look mostly stemming from my bloody mother and the fact that I am a few stones heavier than I was pre dc's... Which is my fault, due to very little exercise and the wrong food choices.

But hopefully I'm going in the right direction.

Annianni · 04/02/2014 10:08

Oh, and dh was funny last night... He was outraged that his food arrived on 'a large wooden table tennis bat, what's wrong with plates?!'

As you can tell, we don't get out much! :o

shopafrolic · 04/02/2014 11:14

Anni I'm so glad you had fun. And how great to be able to do it all again at the end of the month. Outfit sounds fab.
Dry I can get orthotics into my Converse so not so bad but I think I need to go and try some NB in-store - there are too many to look at online and I don't understand the unisex sizing.....
Marsha how's the work going? Are you packed?
Because have a lovely time
Sleep I've emailed you
Counting down to Saturday MU - what to wear?

Fedupnagging · 04/02/2014 14:27

Anni glad you had a good time last night; love the sound of your outfit.

Shop I agree with Dry about the fit flops, - really comfortable (please don't ban me for using that word) I also had leather insoles made which helped. They do add 'height' in a shoe so wore them in boots and trainers.

Am v envious of you Because. We still have no heating so could do with your sunshine.

No fashion news except in my house layering is the way to go!

Annianni · 04/02/2014 14:37

30% off at Gap with the code GRAZIA

valid till next Monday (i think)

Annianni · 04/02/2014 14:39

I'm wearing the J Brands again today, they've loosened up nicely... Thank god I didn't keep the larger pair!

OneLittleLady · 04/02/2014 16:41

Busy day today, was colour matched at the Lancome counter and have a few samples of foundation to try out. The SA said I have pink undertones so am cool, which adds weight to my theory that I'm a winter. Hopefully one of these few samples works for me as I'm fed up of buying and it never being right, it seems to be really hard to buy if you are super pale, in fact the SA told me that where I live they sell very few of the lightest shades.
